The taxi fare from GRU to your hotel was the standard flat fee or at least very close to it these days (I lose track of the exact fares). If you haven't read my guide to SP on this website, you may want to, even though it is a couple of years old, and some of the information may be a bit out of date (e.g., the taxi fares I quote and a few of the higher end clubs seem to have closed up).
