Wrap-up

I've actually been reading a few negative reports on some other forums recently about Rio. "Hardcore" girls filling up Help asking for outlandish fees, insisting on being paid upfront, "phuck and run" service, etc. Let me go on record here to say that NOTHING like this has happened to me in either of my two trips to Rio. I have never paid more than R250 to pull a girl out of Help - and every girl has stayed over the whole night - without prior negotiation - and welcomed additional sessions the next day. In fact, this past trip I never pre-negotiated price or anything else in advance (granted, every girl I pulled except one was a repeat from my first trip).

Furthermore, I have never had a girl ask to be paid up front, or attempt to "upsell" me for any services. And I have never been solicited for a tip by any girl in Rio (commonplace in Costa Rica), or felt obligated to leave one. This past trip - perhaps because we were in Copa rather than Ipanema - none even asked for taxi fare. Finally, I have yet to receive a condom blow job from any provider in Rio (a Solarium dupla started to on my first trip, I objected, and the condom came off immediately). My overwhelming impression after two trips and over 50 sessions is that having fun and enjoying the act of sex itself is almost of equal importance as making the score to the vast majority of Brazileras - especially those in the Help "shark tank".

Of course, this past trip was not without its share of drama and frustration. But these things happened not because of bad attitudes or someone trying to screw me over - but rather because of how obsessive and jealous the girls are - how much they actually WANT to be with you. I'll take that over the crappy, nonchalant attitudes of most of the providers in Costa Rica any time.

Suffice to say, after experiencing Rio it would take a lot to get me to go back to Costa Rica. There's simply no comparison - Rio so excels in attitude, selection, service levels, plethora of quality venues - that really all it takes for success is stamina, a love for having fun, and a respect and appreciation for the wonder that is the garotas of Brazil. With the termas and Help, there's very little risk of pulling the trigger on a bad experience, and a good time is practically guaranteed right of the box - at least in my experience. As I said on CostaRicaTicas.com after my first trip to Rio - "Rio renders the idea of mongering in Costa Rica - or I suspect most other places on the planet - patently absurd".

My next trip is already booked for early April. I definitely want to communicate better this time - I'm hitting Pimsleur Portuguese hard - almost finished now with Level 3, and plan on going back through the entire volume once or twice before the trip. And keep those nasty rumors about Help closing to yourself! But even if my favorite place on the planet is gone by the time I return, I'm sure they'll be plenty else to keep us occupied. That's the beauty of Rio…endless options and boundless opportunity.

I appreciate this report...very well written and detailed. Sounds like it's your kind of place. I have been contemplating going here for a while but a couple things make it tough for me to drag myself away from Asia and Colombia.

Seems the girls are much older than your average working girl in other destinations. Seems as if the girls are...well...pear-shaped. Flat chests with big booties. Just seems that is the Brazilian body shape in general. For me a big bunda just means the girl is fat but I realize that sometimes the girl is in shape but just built that way. Lastly, the girls are real particular about allowing photos with their faces shown which ruins part of the fun of the trip. This has been something that Brazilian cheerleaders have been denying for a decade but report after report keeps showing the same thing and reinforces all of my stereotypes.

Anyways, not knocking the girls you picked as a lot of them are very attractive and sexy just making some points from someone who hasnt been there since I was 18.

Rio is fantastic but I am not one who insists that it is wall to wall hotties. I think about half of the girls in a terma are rejectable for having asses that are too large, fat legs or a so-so face. These are usually 6s, with very few below that. A large number of 7s, but usually several 8s to pick from and depending upon the size of the stable, several 9s. I find the girls to be 19-upper 20s.

Although Asia might trend younger; I find that there are just as many rejects. Certainly nobody gets cut based upon too big of an ass! Usually I cull girls based upon their face. More than a few look sort of monkey like and since I prefer the doll-like look in my Oriental women I also reject the round faced women.

Nice report man. The fight between those Help girls was a fucked up situation and i'm glad it didn't get worse.

Naomi and Carla are hot as shit, but those Help girls leave something (alot) to be desired.

I'm similar to your wingman, i'm a firm believer in quality over quantity, and well... maybe the rating system will decide. Most importantly though you had a good time. Thanks for writing this excellent report, definetly was a good read.

Man, given some of the things we've seen--a guy jumping off a cliff to avoid being robbed, having an American body creamated in Brazil and sent back to the States, late night calls from 3 knuckleheads lost in the Tijuca Forest, not to mention the human flashpot on the street here the other day--having a guy knock a 5 gallon bottle of water onto our electrical system amounts to about a puppy fart.

Not all girls in Rio are pear-shaped. Just seems guys who go often are attracted to them, that's why so many pics.

There are many bigger boned girls but spinners abound as well.

Check-out my pics and you'll find many spinners with beautiful nice tight bootys. They're out there, just have to search a bit to find'em.

Yes Fooledagain...your report had many spinners(albeit a few of them covering their face) but that was 5 years ago. I have friends that have told me there is something for everyone in Rio, guess I will have to find out myself.

I'm looking much more for a good attitude, good vibe, etc. - as long as there is some physical attribute I like that I can key into. The "9s" and "10s" are often too aloof, too expensive, and require too much work. I'm there to have fun - not to try to have to charm hookers with my "game".

The times of Rio being a bargain basement locale are sadly over. You can do a bargain trip there by focusing on the casas de fast foda and such, but most guys are attracted by the festive atmosphere of the termas, and the top 7-8 of those are all pretty pricey. Food and hotel/apartment costs have also risen substantial due to both the strengthening of the real/demise of the dollar and inflation.

For guys with money, though, it remains a singular place, with an atmosphere that can't be found anywhere else.

Most definitely agree - Rio is by no means a bargain trip, but on the flip side nothing compares to the atmosphere and fun that can be found there. It is hard to match the affection that can be found with Rio GDP's in other places. So the price is high now, but the quality is also high. So far it still seems to balance out ok unless of course the dollar crashes even further.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments on the report - it's actually been a while since I wrote up a trip in this sort of detail, and I was amazed how everything came back to me so easily once I started writing (I didn't have any notes to work from - no time to take notes in Rio)...

I don't know if you remember, but we actually met over Thanksgiving when we were waiting in the queue for rooms at 4x4 - I mentioned that it was my first trip to Rio after 20 trips to Costa Rica, and you told me how sorry you were to hear that! Anyways, hope to see you again down there sometime, and would love to hear from anyone else who's gonna be around in early April from the 5th to the 13th...

Costa Rica second rate!?

I have a house in Costa Rica and can't Imagine better talent, even after seeing your pictures. I have met girls from almost every country in Central and South America whom have come to Costa Rica to work. I will be working in Brazil for the next eight months on and off and certainly hope to find out for myself. One thing I notice is higher prices. Seems like about twice the amount. Although, even if I end in agreement, I don't think I'm going to sell up my place in Costa Rica any time soon.

Cippy, I wouldn't even rate Costa Rica as second rate. Maybe one step above US strip club experience, that's about it. Low minor leagues at best.

Cat, you have a very limited scope of Costa Rica. The Del Rey for a few days is not the real Costa Rica. I have been to both and I prefer Brasil but Costa Rica is not as bad as you profess.
