A huge thunderstorm last night, woke me up.
Had a quick breakfast, and the date from the 1st day, Viviana, called. I had to give her a line (read: lie).
The PM came by to refund the deposit on the cell phone, and arranged for a private car back to the airport (only 40K).
My flight to Medellin was CANCELLED!. Then re-booked thru Bogota. By my calculations I would only lose an hour. In fact it was an hour, twenty!
The drive to the city from Rio Negro, was long, but stunning.
Arrived at the place and an envelope with the keys and spec. sheets was waiting.
What a deluxe joint, a 20th floor Penthouse.











Walked down to the local plaza and picked up some supplies. For whatever reason, the humidity was brutal that day, and I broke put into a sweat climbing that hill on the return leg.

Nice apartment. I do like the places you stay at. Top notch.

Those hills will kill you regardless of any humidity especially at an elevation of 5000+ feet.
