This day was 1 of 2 scheduled for touring. I will not bombard my fellow CH readers with too many tourist shots.
First "Convento de la Popa", then "Castillo San Filipe de Barajas". Paid the driver 50K for exactly 2-1/2 hours (the going rate). Lots of tourists around. Then the guy bought me a coca aqua drink in "Barrio San Diego". He recommended my returning there after 4 pm to check-out "las chicas'.
Shopped around abit and bought my sister this 2.48 carat emerald for $ 650 USD. P.S.: Don't worry, she's paid me back already.
Found this "Italian Pizza" joint near last night's restaurant (i.e. across the fuckin' street). Now, I like a pie, as I'm sure most of you do, and yes I've been to Italy, where the standard is set. This was one damn' smack'deliseo pie. Thin crust, loaded, great garlicy sauce. That and a beer cost 33,672.
Went down to the beach, where the wind was as evident as the day before. The first two pics are of the pool area at the condo.
