I had intended to write this as my holiday progressed through Angeles, but alas I have been busy with a bevvy of beautiful young Filipinas who know how to please. Kinda strange how you spell Phillipines with a (PH), but when in the plural they refer to themselves as (F)illipinas. I noticed this when first reading the news here.
At first apprehensive when i got here from a 12 hour flight, into central park hotel for shower and rest break I hit the street at 11 pm. By 11.02 I was dragged into bar, sort of volountarily, by 2 hot young Filipinas maybe 19 Y.O. Before i ordered a drink there were 3 or 4 of them sitting next to me brushing up asking smalltalk questions. Some Californian guy just down from me on the bench seat was helpful enough to answer some basic questions about the place. I sat in wide eyed amazement as girls on stage danced seductively for all who cared to glance in their direction. Two drinks, 2 barfines and barhopping we went, followed by extended boom boom.
A week later and despite frequent, extended drinking sessions, i don't think I have visited every bar in Angeles. There is a Fillipina section where they go to party, go there if you like you will be quite safe if you behave yourself, but you won't receive the kind of attention you will in fields ave. Within Days the door girls know your name, invite you in everywhere you go. Drag you in sometimes, I can't say I resisted with much effort
The bigger bars have more of a choice, but are a little less personal. . Club Atlantis, Dollhouse are examples of the larger venues, definitely worth a look. But in this mongers opinion, Geckos and Crazy Horse Saloon were venues of choice. If its your first time mongering, its ok to be a little shy, the girls don't mind they'll come to you reguardless. But within days you realise your status in this place and begin to assert yourself. Barfine 1300 pesos and a drink will get you any girl in the place. Don't settle for the first one that comes up to you. I can happily admit I took some girls home from venues depite them being not the hottest in the room. Some of the average ones can be so much fun you don't want to leave without them. (NOTE : Some of the girls asked me questions like – How much is barfine in Australia? They didn't understand the concept that these bars do not exist back home, and getting an Australian girl in bed is quite often more hassle than what its worth)
When I say I left venues with average looking girls sometimes, I must clarify : Average here by definition is not average by western standards. Average here is a slim, flawless figure, dressed to kill, maybe with a face that you would not consider perfect. Their attitude and willingness to please you in every way more than makes up for their minor flaws. But hey, we aint perfect either right?
Advice I can offer to potential first timers, is for the first few days, don't buy anything. Walk around, ask prices, guage what your money is worth. When you get in a trike, always say ........................ (destination) 50 pesos. ($1.30) if you don't they charge you like 100 – 150 pesos. Still by western standards $5 for a taxi is cheap but, if you wanna save ur money, be careful.
Most Fillipinas in this section thinks white men are like walking ATM's so just learn the value of the peso. Fast. If you want Viagra or other, check packaging seals, and product authenticity before buying off street vendors. Maybe you could try the pharmacy, I dunno, I didn't try. I don't use Viagra often, but for the price I bought 5 boxes @ 200 pesos per box. 4 tablets per box, and i have tried one no problem. Some guys will try and sell you one box 3000 pesos, so as i said, shop around. (NOTE : In Australia Viagra is $100 per box or 3000 pesos)
An example of how the vendors operate: I wanted a taser to take home to Australia as they are illegal here (along with free speech, guns, crossbows and every other damn thing).... ...Anyway, I and asked one of the street vendors to get me one. He came back with 1. Charged me 3000 pesos - $90 AU. Pretty good price if we were in Australia, so I bought it. Within hours the street vendors were trying to sell me stun guns instead of Viagra, and the last one I bought me cost 1000 pesos. ($30 AU). Got a free Dire Straits CD (!) Their social networking is efficient so don't accept the first price – EVER.
The food around here is pretty damn good even by western standards. I don't buy their roadkill on a stick from street vendors, but any of the major venues have great steak, great bacon and egg breakfast, don't stress about that stuff. Something to try though while you're here is the coconut juice in a barrel sold by street vendors. Looks like water with white slivers in it, but for 5 pesos just about anywhere you go it tastes great, and quenches any thirst.
Practise saying No.... No..... No..... 30 times a day before you leave. You will say it 100 times a day here as guys come up to you trying to sell you any worthless shit. The only people who i give money to were the amputees begging on the street. I felt sorry for them, but it worked out well. Now when I pass them I just smile and say i 'gave you yesterday', and they leave you alone. Give them 50 – 100 pesos ($3) the first time they ask, then for the rest of trip walk on by - guilt free. There's only 3 that i met, and I walked everywhere so, don't fret about $9.
Central Park Hotel I can say some good and bad things about, but overall they were great people. My room was clean, and the mini bar prices weren't excessive, the hot water takes a few minutes to heat up after you turn on the shower. My room didn't have a window that you could open, and as a smoker the lack of fresh air was a bit crap at times. Turn the air con on and it sucks from outside though, so overall not bad. Thats is if you could call the air fresh around here. I had a mild headache the first 3 days, not bad, but noticeable i had to put down to the pollution in the air. Now i am accustomed to it, its fine.

Back to Angeles :
A hot barfine from Dollhouse spent the night in my hotel. She left her stuff in my room the next day and we went shopping, she went to work from my room, leaving her stuff again. I went to the bar to see her and she wanted me to pay 3000 peso bar fine again so i said I had to go to the currency converter (money changer) and I'd be right back. Went to my room, packed up her stuff in a bag, and took it back to her. (I might be a bastard, but i won't throw her stuff in the street) Holy shit. The tears started flowing right in the bar and the other girls looked at me as though i was the biggest prick in the world. Fuck I had just given this girl a weeks pay for one night and she was crying. Fuck Fuck Fuck. Its so hard to say no to a crying girl. Her name was 'Herwill' and I will put her pic up here. She is cute, but not great, and I am just a dumbass.
Want a night with 2 girls here? I can recommend some names and places, its not as easy as you might think, despite barfine prices. If you want 2 girls who really enjoy their work, then pick your first girl, and let her pick the second. Wise words from whoever wrote this first.. (I cannot take credit).
Another thing to bear in mind... I was headed to Thailand to get some dental work done and had some prices of around $2000 AU for what I needed. Back home (DR)Molloy wanted $12,000 . I had the whole job done here front teeth good as new, rear ones filled, as professionally as any western dentist. Total Cost $400 AU. Hehe more money for LT.
Dr. Nolasgo G. Tayag Jr. - Next door to Brass Knob hotel, phone number (045) 892 7106. Don't be put off by his surgery. Its not run down, its clean and orderly, but its not twenty first century plasma on the ceing type dentist that you'd see in Australia. Who needs a plasma on the ceiling anyway while your getting your teeth drilled? His work was first class and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I didn't even feel his anaesthetic needle going in, he used all the same equipment as you'd see back home. My teeth have never been better.
PART TWO
Well as you may have read above, I met my aussie girl in Bangkok, wasted 5 days shopping and eating, and doing the boring touristy stuff before i had to break out. Went out, got drunk, I think the girl was hot, but my memory is a bit scattered about the incident. Tried to sneak back into my hotel and sleep but I must have left the condom still hanging off the end of my knob cause it took my girl about 3 nanoseconds to sniff it out and start yelling. My biggest regret? I didn't do this on the first night cause then i could have spent so much more time exploring Thailands wonderful vaginas.
Wish I could have visited Pattaya, People have told me its way better than Bangkok, but I have only 2 days left here, so Soi cowboy will be my home away from home. My main disappointments about Bangkok were the taxi drivers trying to rip off the tourist every godamn time. Whenever you get in a taxi tell him to put the meter on, if he doesn't – get out. The girls here seem not as enthusiastic or friendly as the Angeles ones, but I didn't visit Pattaya, so... Prices here in Bangkok are roughly $40 - $50 US for a decent hotel room, and barfines from about 700 BAHT - $20 US. Barfine here does NOT include SEX. You have to pay the girl seperately for that, and she'll usually start at around 5000 BAHT. I always got them down to 2000, maybe I could have gone lower, but I still try to look after the girl a little. The girls here are probably slightly, only slightly cuter on average then the Fillipinas, but the Fillipinas friendliness and enthusiasm has them winning hands down every time in my book.
Again, this report was only written to guys who haven't done much of this before, to help them find their way a little better in these places. I learnt so much from what the other reports contained, that I had to contribute in some way to this forum. Any specific questions you wanna ask me, email me here and I will do my best to answer them. I have some local contacts now in Angeles, who can help you find your way. I will attatch photos to this report where possible, and i Will finish by writing... There is a heaven - and it is Angeles City, please try to preserve this paradise for all who choose to find solace here. Be nice, observe local courtesy, and with any luck it will be around when my balls are shrivelled.
I loved this place so much I am writing this on my notebook in the airport, about to fly home... and already planning my next visit.
Jacksparows Guidelines for Making the Most of Angeles.
1. Shop around. Don't buy anything but essentials for the first few days. You'll be surprised how far your money will go here.
2. Change your money at the banks / financial institutions NOT THE HOTEL OR THE AIRPORT. On an exchange of $300 AU you'll be 900 pesos better off by doing this.
3. Take CASH. You can change it anywhere. ATM's are difficult to find, and when you do, half the time its out of action.
4. Tip your hotel maid and your evening girls, not excessively generously, but these people earn next to nothing by our standards, so a small tip will make a big difference to them.
5. Never give money to begging children. Its hard, but just say no. Give to one and you'll have them all running up to you and they won't leave you alone. I learnt this the hard way. Give to the amputees once, as I explained earlier.
6. Get a cell phone and a local number on your first day. Makes contacting your favourite girls so much easier.
7. Delete all the messages and numbers when you go back to your girlfriend. Allows more plausible deniability. Used condom on your cock? Don't bother with excuses, you're busted. Move on.
8. Roy's English pub off the main drag has great breakfasts, very cheap. Essential if you want to spend at least part of the day sober.
9. Try not to build any nuclear reactors here . We cannot have Chinese missiles or Towel Head suicide bombers or ANYBODY screwing this place up. It is perfect just the way it is. ENJOY !
