On Saturday there are only a few termas open. I had been PM’ing Getrhythm on Club Hombre and we planned to meet at Terma Centaurus at 5 PM on Saturday. I was right on time and although all the write ups gave me an idea of what to expect, the first site of the women in the Centaurus Terma was something to behold. In the interests of accurate information for those readers who may have never been to Rio, I offer two suggestions - drop the 'h' from Thermas, and you may want to clarify that some of the prices quoted above include some hefty bar tabs or else substantial tipping of the staff. For example, "$180 for one session, entry and drinks at Cancun." My recollection from December is one session and entry at Cancun cost me about 190 reais, just a hair over $100. I mention this because one poster commented on how much more expensive Rio is than the FKKs of Germany.

I asked Hombre to correct the spelling mistake for Termas. I was pronouncing it that way and wrote it on phonics. ha ha Yes, I spent a lot of time drinking with a few girls at Cancun and I spent an hour rather than 40 minutes in the room. After coming all the way from Alaska, and thinking of this as a once in a lifetime experience, I did not skimp and in return, I do not think I was short changed on the pleasure I received. Tourist2004: Unless one goes to prives and dive bars, Brasil is no longer cheap. It is now a place for the well-to-do monger or someone who has a little bit of money and wants to splurge for a week or so.

Whereas the real and Argentine peso were at par two or three years back, now the peso is worth approximately half what the real is. That makes for some opportunities in Argentina. Only problem is it takes more work and/or luck to find good service in Buenos Aires than in Brasil. And there are more rip-offs along the lines of girls agreeing to various things and then reneging once the session starts, whether it is photos, anal, or what have you. But I'm beginning to appreciate Buenos Aires more as I learn the turf, and am becoming increasingly disinclined to paying Brasilian prices, at least at the top shelf termas.

The winters are long and cold in Alaska and it takes a lot of money and time to get to Rio so don't apologize for giving yourself a great vacation. have fun and don't leave anything in the tank.

Tourist 2004, Brasil may not be as inexpensive as some other destinations, but the prices there still beat the ones in the USA. As I pointed out, and GL confirmed, some of the prices he quoted at termas included a considerable amount of drinking; the p4p prices were significantly less. For the quality and overall experience, Brasil is still a relatively good deal, just not as good as it used to be.

Brasil - or specifically Rio - is not the most inexpensive, but one of the best destinations. In my opinion it is hard to beat the kind of servicing (including anal, BBBJ, etc)found in Brazil anywhere else, so it is worth paying a little premium. Better to have excellent top notch GDP, then two mediocre or one for $50 USD less in some of the other destinations, at least for me! Deals can be found, but stay away from Centaurus which begins at R$400 ($235 USD). Without too much drinking you can walk out under R$300 at most termas. Just keep an eye on the drinks you buy for the girls.

At 'Help' you should be able to find plenty of girls in the R$150 - R$200 ($90 - $120 USD) with a little effort and negotiating. This is right on par with prices in Argentina and Columbia.

NO one, repeat no one, is going to get a halfway decent looking girl for less than 200RI for all night for less than 200RI, I don't care what your age, looks, etc.........that's the reality of the situation there now due to the exchange rate and inflation. Period

GL. I don't want to take away from your excellent report, but I just had to comment on that garota Joyce.
Anyone who isn't new to Rio knows that she has been around for awhile. She used to be this frail, skinny, pasty-white skin girl that used to work at Luomo and would be seen at Help as well.
