I wanted to dive right in and tell you all about my very first trip ever! There was LOT of first time things going on here. My first trip to Thailand, my first trip alone, my first time at a massage parlor, first double, my first mongering experiences!

I landed in Bangkok late at about 11:30pm Saturday night of April 19th. Got to the Dynasty Inn (1400-1600 Baht per night) a little after 12. After a quick shower I was determined to begin my adventure! However, all the bars were beginning to close! A cab driver spotted me and told me about a place open late. I know, I know! I had sucker written all over my face but again, I was eager to begin! I didn’t recall the name of the bar or where the heck I was nor do I recall the name of the girl but the selection was not the best. Either way, I chose the girl I was most attracted to. Bar fine was 500 and the girl asked for 4000. Yes, way too much! I am such a newbie!

But in all she was good! My first experience was great! We did it multiple times including a BBBJ which totally paid for it in itself! She slept over, gave me her number, we did it one more time in the morning and planned to meet up again that night. She came by at 6pm, took me to explore Chinatown. We ate seafood and went back to the hotel for more fun. She wanted me to go back to her bar but I refused. There were too many girls and not enough time and as sweet as she was, I cut her loose with the intention of hooking up after some time in Pattaya (which I never did because once I got to Pattaya I never looked back).

Between the morning and afternoon though, I went in exploration of my first soapy! Another cab driver nabbed me (I must have new tourist written all over my face!). He wanted to take me around. I had no idea where to go so I took him up on his offer. I noticed he didn’t run the meter and asked him to stop but we cut a deal. I paid him 100 Baht per hour and I had a personal driver who spoke decent English and knew his way around. Went to all the tourist places I could handle for a day and then he took me to a soapy (forgot the name of this one too, I should take better notes next time! sorry! But I believe it started with an “S” and was near some park). Again, I paid too much (4000 Baht (superstars were 5000)) for it and the girl seemed to rush through it but I have to say that she was a hot one! I hadn’t started to take pictures yet because I was too engrossed in the experience!

I decided it was time to leave Bangkok but not before one more (I came all this way for this!). I went to Soi Cowboy and came across a sweet number (yes I suck – no names, no pictures, the bar was on the right maybe half way down the walk). We had a good time, got something to eat and said goodbye. It was all nice and simple.

By now, I was beginning to understand that I needed to not get taken in by scams! I suck! Haha! So it was off to Pattaya! I dreamed of this place! After reading all of your reports and researching through the forums here I thought I was ready to have the time of my life! Again I stayed at the Dynasty Inn (On Soi 13) they gave me a free shuttle ride which was cool.

From here I went to Walking Street. Walked into the Happy A Go Go (which among all the other bars I peeked in had the most girls and better looking ones as well) I picked a girl. She laughed a lot. 500 bar fine and she asked for 2000. Which was much better than what I was paying in Bangkok. I have read quotes here placing girls between 1600 – 1800 but everyone seemed to be quoting me 2000. Maybe I should have negotiated more but I didn’t, I’m sure open bars are much cheaper than the gogos.

Let me tell you about myself. I am in my mid 30s, I’m a small Asian man who lives in NYC, I have a moderate income and I like girls who want to have fun. I’ll take them to shoot pool, eat, dance or watch a show before the hotel. I think I’ve been lucky with my choices because no one robbed me and the girls I was with never ran off once the deed was done.

Anyway, I was looking for girl 5 the next day. I came across Sabai Dee Body Massage. A soapy north on 2nd Road. Found a sweet girl there for a great long session. She didn’t rush and I had a really good time with her. Here I paid 2000 as well. Gave her a tip of 300 because she took good care of me.

Next on my list; a double. Went back to Walking Street and tried a different bar. Walked into a couple and then ended up at Casnovy Agogo. Now the toughest thing about going around by yourself and looking as I do is that I don’t get approached right away. They kind of let me have my space which is good. I don’t have to buy rounds of drinks and I can take my time but on the other hand it’s kind of boring and crappy to go mongering without some other guys talking and laughing and drinking over girls. I’ll be back in August so if there are any of you going, I’ll buy drinks!

A girl asked where I was from. This seems to be the opening line for them. She was cute enough so we started to talk. She brought over her friend and I thought, well there’s two right here! Let’s go! Their names were SOM and AOM. 500 bar fines each and I went with a standard 2000 each as well. We shot pool, smoked hookah and drank a bit more before going to the hotel where I had the time of my life! These girls were good friends with each other so they worked well together and SOM took a liking to me and bought me a flower lei. Her English was good and I was in heaven!

I was going on day 4 of my trip. Did the tourist thing and went to the Sanctuary of Truth. Met up with some random guys who told me that I should never have to go alone to tour. I should have brought a girl that would have been better. Ok. Lesson learned. I guess I had been learning a lot of lessons on this trip. I expected it.

Got back to Walking Street and went into a couple places. Sat down at that bar scene right before you hit Walking Street near the water. The place with the kick boxing ring. Mama-san offered me a good two for one deal. Said she would throw herself in for free as well. Bar fines here were 120 a pop with some very attractive girls but I decided to move on and maybe save that for the next night. I ended up at Casnovy Agogo again to look for SOM since I had such a good time with her. She wasn’t there so I picked out another girl I had my eye on the previous night. Now this place didn’t have as many girls as others maybe 20 or so but I had a long list of whom I wanted to take out.

This girl is named POR. She was a young at 20 and a happy girl who liked to sing. We had a good time at a bar singing along to a band. Had some food and went to the hotel. Time with her wasn’t that great. Let’s think still fish here as she covered her body with her hands really shy like. I almost gave up with this one but it ended sweetly. She stayed the night and we kept the covers warm. I have more explicit pictures of her but I’m gonna save those for myself! Hehe.

The next day I knew my trip was going to come to an end soon. I debated if I should go back to Bangkok but decided to stay in Pattaya. I was having a good time and I came across other guys in bars who I shared drinks and stories with and there were more girls I wanted to spend time with. This day I decided on my first massage parlor. Teen Dream was put in my thoughts so I made my way over there (entrance is on Soi 21 between Soi Bua Khao and Pattaya 3rd Road). I chose the 2 hours oil massage for 700 and had a very nice girl work on me. This is the kind of place that you work out a price with the girl for extras as you go along. Yes, I ended up paying a standard 2000 but this was the best time I had out of all the girls and places and sessions on this trip! We were more than two hours in that room where we both came multiple times. I could have just stayed there with her if they let me!

Thursday was my last day so I thought I would get as much in as possible! I went back to Sabai Dee once again because there were a few girls who caught my eye the first time round. I thought maybe I should just take them all at once! I found two for another great double experience. NAT especially took a liking to me and went out of her way to please me. A double soapy is heaven! Again, no rushing here they both gave me the full treatment!

My taxi would pick me up at 3am for a 6am flight. It was evening and I just had a great double soapy but I was not through for the night. I went walking through some of the gogos and bars outside of Walking Street. Alone it seemed very intimidating. Next trip I’m gonna bring a buddy or meet up with one of you guys! I was not comfortable so I went back to Walking Street. Ended up at the Roxy and was approached by a girl. Not the best looker in the room but she had a fun spirit. I heard someone mention here about chemistry. We definitely were having a good time and I was running out of time so I took her. Oh yes! She also had a bar on her tongue! First time for that too! Must say it was interesting! Haha!

We played for a while at Tony’s where we saw a few acts, danced and hung out with another random couple. It was fun. She came back to the hotel for more fun and she helped me pack and we talked for some time until my taxi came. I gave her a ride to where she needed to be. She gave me a phone number and an email address. Do you guys keep contact with girls? Just wondering if this is some kind of scam. I’m still a newbie after all! But it was a nice send off and I have designs to go back! And soon!

I have to thank everyone here at Club Hombre because of your reports and all the information I got I was comfortable even though I had never been in Thailand before and didn’t know the language or anything at all! This marks my first adventure in mongering and it will definitely not be my last!

TWL, welcome to the club of spoiled men. Like any other game, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. But the wins always make me come back over and over again. After an experience like that, you'll never look at the pick up scene in North America the same way again.

Good job. Nice upbeat report. SOunds like an awesome first trip. If the only concerns you had were overpaying a little at times, you did quite well.

You overpayed a lot and didnt really put much time into your hunt, just picked the first girl to come along. It was your first trip so lots of mistakes happen and quite frankly even my guide is totally outdated so not much streamlined and accurate information on this board any more on what to pay and how to approach the scene.

I take it by your photos that you are not Asian but a Pacific Islander(Filipino?). If thats the case, you might want to also give the Philippines a shot on your next trip...just dont tip the girls 1,000 pisos as they get paid up front.

You may want to have Hombre remove the photos you posted that show your face. Not a good idea to make that public.

Great report and thanks for sharing. I love to read the enthusiastic writings of a first timer, and we've all been there. You had some real nice tail there. I think Nat and her soapy frind were great choices. Welcome to the club!

Nice report. It reminds me of my first trip when I grabbed whatever looked good at first glance.

My fave was the girl playing pool.

Blazers is right, there needs to be some more recent info on Thailand for newbies. I'll be heading there in June so will try to include such info in my report.

Until then, some quick tips:

If staying in Bangkok, go do some touristy things, there's a lot to Thailand besides bar girls.

Don't hire a car. A taxi driver who agrees to use the meter, will cost 800-900 baht.

Better yet, take the bus from Ekamai station. From Nana the skytrain costs 25 baht to Ekamai.
The aircon bus to Pattaya was 120 baht the last time I took it. Once in Pattaya bus station, you can switch to a baht bus that goes down beach road for 30 baht.

You can do the math and see that both options are cheaper and just as good as getting a hired car.

Sabai Lodge on soi 2 is cheaper and roomier than Dynasty Inn and has 4 pools in a garden setting It's a much nicer place to stay than most hotels in Pattaya, I don't know why people pay more for a no pool hotel (tubs on the roof don't count) in South Pattaya, when walking street is a 10 minute/10 baht ride from soi 2.

In a nut shell, some cost savers right there that will improve the quality of your stay there.

It was a nice report and I really liked the pics, and the way you write. You sound really positive and enthusiastic. Those are things I always like.

Is it just me though, or did you really over pay? I thought that you could do an all nighter for about 1500 baht. Are those prices a thing of the past? 4000 baht just sounds like they saw you comin from down the street.

Cool report, personal with the girls phone number I don't stay in contact with them these girls get new phone numbers like they get new clothes. Out with the old in with the new don't worry on your next trip you will find another girl that might be equal or better.

Mdwbkk: ya, i didn't think i should keep the numbers. i mean is there really a chance that if i come back in a few months that those girls would still be there? do they put on this act for most men? there is this savior complex that some guys have that we want to save them from this hard life but at the same time i don't know the whole story. and i am afraid to actually find out sometimes! but i do want to have fun at the same time! as many as i can!!!

on a side note... girl number 3 (no picture but the one from Soi Cowboy) really had a smelly one! i couldn't almost finish with her (almost, i mean it's boom boom after all and i don't get any in nyc). but do you guys come across that often? what do you do if the girl smells like fish?

Good report...I agree with the rest that 4K is WAY too much, almost for ANY girl. In 2004, I was paying around 250BF/750B for LT. It worked out, as the girl stayed for 1 week, for free. She would call after work & meet me. True to their roots, after 1-2x's w/ same girl, hey get jealous/clingy...Not good for a Mongerer!!
