Our second day in P.A. began bright and early so as not to miss the excellant breakfast at our hotel . Most termas don't open until 4:00 so that left us plenty of time for sight seeing . I chose to break away from the pack and visit some local friends while the rest of the gang chose to take a sightseeing bus and get aquianted with the city . We would meet up later on for dinner .

Later that evening at the suggestion of a helpful Taxi driver we chose to eat at a place called Galpao Criolla . I'm mentioning this place because it is extremely popular . Everyone know this spot and if you decide to visit Porto Alegre it should definately be on your agenda . Galpao Criolla is a Churrascuria that features an excellant floor show of folkloric dance along with dinner . We went during the week but I would imagine that during weekends this place is packed with families and friends . Again it's a great restaraunt that all should partake in . After dinner we decided to waste know time and head out to Gruta Azul . This place has been mention in both Tonyels report as well as Bwana Dik's report on Porto Alegre as being outstanding . I was still anxious to get the memory of the previous days bad experience out of my mind .We arrived at Gruta Azul around 10:00 which was a little early . It was the same setup as La Barca where you pay an entrance and a waiter is assigned to your table . You order drinks and everything from him . Around 11:00 the beauties started filing in and in no time the place was packed with stunners . This place also had a strip show which would happen periodically . I made eye contact with a leggy blonde and in no time she was sitting next to me and the interview process began . The girls here didn't seem to be on the hustle as much in terms of drinks so that was a good sign .THe leggy blondes name was Alicia and as we made conversation I imagined those beautiful legs wrapped around my head . It was one the bus route home from where I was taking my Portuguese classes, so I would stop in regularly to test my Portuguese skills. I had told my professor, a cool young guy, that I needed extra help with language for talking with putas, and he was a big help. Sauna Guaiba always had an interesting mix of dogs and hotties. Yes Sauna Guaiba was definately one of my favorites. I liked the atmosphere in the afternoon. The entrance was a little high, I think $R50 or $R60, but that included all the Chopp you can drink.
