Finding Salons
Unless you speak Russian, the St. Petersburg salons are notoriously difficult to find. The web sites often only mention phone numbers. Unless someone on the other side of the line speaks English, you’re stuck.
I had the addresses (even the GPS coordinates) of all the St. Petersburg salons. But that’s not enough. The salons are located in huge soviet-style building compounds and you’ll never be able to locate them unless you have precise directions.
This Russian phrase may come in useful:
- "Zdrastvuite. Ya na ulitse ou salona. Pajalousta vstretite minia".
- "Hello. I'm in the street in front of the salon. Please meet me".
If you can pronounce that!
Salon Experiences
Preparation
Resident guru Doctor Skank provided the following guesstimation about the services provided in St. Petersburg salons:
- BBBJ: 50%
- DFK: 60%

Since these statistics were unacceptable, negotiating services in advance seemed to be a must. But you normally don’t get the opportunity to talk to the girls. And very few of them speak English.
Apparently, Russian girls don’t like to be submitted to a questionnaire anyway. Blame the KGB!
They’re unlikely to agree to “unusual” requests like DFK, BBBJ or anal, especially in front of their colleagues or the mamochka. I was told to trust to luck and hope to have a good chemistry with the girl. Not my style!
Photomodeli Nevsky
My first night in St. Petersburg, I met up with Mike #3. He’d been to St. Petersburg before, had some salon experience and spoke the language. After having dinner together, we retired to my apartment. Mike #3 called Photomodeli Light 1 and was told they had 6 girls on offer. But since we couldn’t find a taxi willing to take us there, we walked to Photomodeli Nevsky instead.
As we entered the viewing room, a few girls were sitting on the sofa. They were quick to make their escape. The mamochka showed us 2 girls. An average-looking blonde wouldn’t even look in our direction. A curly-haired brunette was past her sell-by date.
The mamochka said she could show us 2 more girls if we were prepared to wait for 10 minutes. Neither of us was interested in the fat blonde. We both fancied a short-haired brunette called Lena. Since I was still a salon virgin, Mike #3 was generous enough to offer Lena to me.
In situations where you have to pay in advance, the girl has to agree to pictures before I cough up the dough. Even though I knew it was against salon protocol, I asked Mike #3 to enquire whether Lena would allow pictures. Not surprisingly, the answer was: “Nyet”.
Since I’d lost interest in her, Mike #3 ended up fucking Lena in the salon. She did kiss, but only gave him a CBJ. And, of course, he wasn’t allowed to take any pictures.
After doing research on the St. Petersburg salon scene, I figured I’d hate the damn places. One salon visit was enough to confirm my worst fears. The ambiance was clinical. The line-up was too far away to get a decent look at the girls and the dyevs seemed cold as ice. The fact that there was no opportunity to interact with the girls totally killed it for me.
One other thing. Lena was one of the girls sitting in the sofa when we entered the salon. Since she was available, why wasn’t she part of the first line-up? Mike #3 also saw several other girls on the way to the room. Why weren’t they presented to us? Could the line-ups be tailored to the customer?
Amsterdam Gorkovskaya
I figured my first salon visit would also be my last. But when a shoot was cancelled, a salon visit was my only alternative. At the Amsterdam Gorkovskaya salon, I was lucky enough to meet a girl who spoke good English. Since the mamochka was unable to communicate with me, I talked to the girl. But the domineering mamochka was listening in and making her presence felt, even though she couldn’t understand our conversation.
During our session, Sani blew hot and cold. When I wanted to give her a goodbye kiss in the corridor, she truly seemed scared as she whispered: “Not allowed!” The salons seem to do a very thorough job of brainwashing the girls. Don’t do this! Don’t do that! To get a good performance out of salon girls, you have to deprogram them. This requires communication (unlikely unless you speak Russian) and possibly multiple sessions. Or maybe you have to find girls that are new to the scene, and catch them before the indoctrination has set in.
In short, the salon system works against you. Some people may like rowing against the stream. Some guys may enjoy the challenge. I prefer smooth sailing. For me, if the system sucks, the story ends.
Escorts
The salon sites are exclusively in Russian. The same goes for most of the escort sites. Some of the English sites only display the girls’ phone numbers to paid members. On others, the girls carry ridiculous price tags.
The only site worth checking out for non-Russian speakers is Rus Dosug. It has a huge selection in all price ranges and offers extensive search facilities.

My research revealed that the freelancer scene in St. Petersburg sucks these days. Even though Magrib was spitting distance from my apartment, I couldn’t be bothered to check it out.
Final Words
I travelled to St. Petersburg to make movies with Russian porn stars. They were magnificent performers. After doing research on the P4P options, I figured the salon scene wouldn’t be my cup of tea. I was willing to give them a try, but a couple of salon visits confirmed that I hate everything about the damn places.
