After China I made my way to AC for four nights. Frankly, it’s quite a shock to see the available selection after a stay in China. I know there are a lot of AC lovers here, but man the talent available in the bars is miserable. It’s a shame as AC used to be my favorite place in the world, but now days I can’t even sniff a hottie here. Granted lots of guys are doing well here, and I have some conjectures why I don’t.
1) My AC stays are too short. These days AC is more expensive and with the value on offer I really can’t about 4 days at most. This really works to my disadvantage as finding a decent looker takes a lot of bar trolling time. Plus many girls are really not motivated by a one night BF stand; a guy who is going to be around a while is a much more attractive prospect.
2) I don’t want to spend my time at home having web chats with Pinay bar girls. Let’s face it most of the hottest AC girls are working web chat. Also, many girls get sponsored and leave the bars, but clearly they like to keep past contacts alive by chatting to them regularly. They will gladly meet up with the past customers when they come to town.
3) I am not from the right side of the youth, handsome, physically fit side of the customer spectrum. Much like Pattaya, AC has become more of a younger guys destination relative to the past. As much as it hurts my pride, times are so good for the AC bar girls that they can clearly don’t need my $30 and can wait out for a young guapo.
4) My budget is now from the wrong end of the spectrum. My $150-200 a day budget two years ago made me a big spender. Now I am a Cheap Charlie, hot girls will go with the lady drink pukers of which I am no longer amongst their ranks.
Since my last visit there have been some obvious changes. AC is booming with infrastructure. The highway to Subic is now open. There is also construction going up all over town. In fact, I stayed at the new Lewis Grand hotel which I discuss later.
Also, there are definitely a lot more Asians customers. Especially there are more Japanese, Malaysians, Singaporeans, and Chinese. This doesn’t bother me as much as others. They seemed well behave and keep to themselves, although the younger cuter girls seem to prefer them to us westerners.
On the downside, prices are much higher coinciding with the Mega clubs such as those in the Dollhouse group. These places are kind of ridiculous, you build these over the top clubs with elaborate costumes and choreogpahy, and yet you staff it with almost nothing but 25-30 overweight single moms. Yech! But I would say the greatest increase in prices is that in dining. And the sad part was Cottage Kitchen was closed my entire stay!
Anyway here are the daily mongering reports.
My first day I arrived in the afternoon and started my barhop around 7 pm on Fields. Picking were very thin, all the attractive girls where cherry girls or only willing to commit to bar hop only. I heard “Maybe tomorrow” way too often. Do you think I am stupid enough to come back and ply you with lady drinks again? Around midnight and a dozen bars later I was in Alaska Club where a slutty door girl got my attention. She seemed eager to please although only appeared to be about a 5. (To calibrate at home, In my previous China chapter I would rate the first girl a 7 for face and 8 for body and the second girl a 5 for face and a 7.5 for body cause I love my rack) Since I had a good hard on I decided to take her back. Now that my head was clear I proceeded to shop with higher standards. I hit a bunch of perimeter road places and then field places. Amazing I hit at least 15 bars and couldn’t find anyone attractive who expressed a willingness to go for a LT barfine before I bought a LD. I decided after getting bait and switched so much, I would actually check to see if a girl was available for Boom Boom before committing to LD’s.

I just finished a four night stay at LG and had a very positive experience. I booked a standard room for 2193 pesos a night, but was upgraded to a family room as they didn't have a standard ready for me. Thanks! I got a airport pickup at Clark for only 300 pesos in a new very comfortable SUV. The greeting a checking was very well executed with the warm towel, welcome drink, and friendly proficient check-in. The pool is a large free form with a swim up bar and two Jacuzzi’s. Above the bar it looks like there will be a stage for things like bands and wedding ceremonies. The pool surprisingly had a deep end of about 2 meters. I think with the right landscaping and furnishing this will be a lot better than the Wild Orchid pool. The public areas are looking to be quite nice and definitely 4* and could be 5* depending on how it is finished out.

I love that each floor has a great high ceiling and tall doorways into the room. The family room I had was really spacious with a queen and a single bed. Had a super comfortable overstuffed sofa. Also has a I believe a 32" new Samsung HD TV built into the wall as well as the cable box in a built in casing as well. That looked and worked real well except you can't access the cable ports on the back of the TV if you want to plug in your camera/portable DVD player or etc.. Also had a small desk and a good sized mini bar fridge. Closet and storage space was more than ample for even the those on long trips bringing tons of stuff. In room safe was small but worked well. The linens and pillows were of good quality, and the spring mattress beds gave a great night sleep. At this point the Wi-Fi internet wasn't available to my room, so no comment on whether it will be good enough for those who need to use VOIP and/or transfer large files. I would say that this would be a solid 4*, but not quite 5* room anywhere in the world.


The bathroom was quite large with double sinks, high quality tiling, and a nice large deep bathtub. While the waterfall showerhead is nice, I really think the bathtub needs a second shower head on a hose. It's hard to wash the nether regions well with water coming down from above. This is especially crucial in AC where puki hygiene isn't always the best. Ideally there would be one of those hygiene hoses next to the toilet as well. The water pressure was not so great and hopefully that will work itself out.

The service was outstanding and accommodating. I got to say that the delivered breakfast in the morning was very very good, and also included in the price (up to two people.) My favorite perk though is the car service. Currently they have several new SUV's that you can use to drop you off and pick you up. Not having to deal with trikes and jeepney; priceless. Right now there is no charge for this service, I hope it continues.

So while it's not complete yet, I will eagerly await to see what the final prices and services are. If they don't change this will be my home in AC. The value here is much much better than the PB, WO, CP, etc options..

I concur with your comments on the lack of talent in AC, its the reason why AC has become more expensive for me than Pattaya. I do love the gfe that the Filipinas can give but I am also a visual guy so its tough to find both. The one thing that really amazed me about AC is that the food is now the same price as the USA. I am not talking about comparing fine dining in the USA to Mo's but if you compare similar establishments, the prices are about the same or even more in AC and the quality still third world.

Hotels and food are by far the worst value in AC.

About 3-4 years ago, I was much more physically fit then I am now. Recently, I gained about 23 pounds from where I was last year and I have no idea where it came from...I am currently dieting where I drink no soft drinks, do not eat out, no coffee, etc...more exercise daily...

1) Maintain stays of ten days or more in AC.
2) Live large having a 300 dollar a day or more budget.
3) Invest lots of time webchatting pinays between trips to AC

Consider a cross sectional analysis -- hold the monger fix and vary the location. I am the same out of shape not particularly rich person as I am in AC in both Indonesia and China. As the risk of sounding not humble, but the typical girls I bang in Jakarta (hell tons of the girls I never dismiss or never get around to screwing, are completely unattainable for me in AC. And the girls here are as sweet as those in AC, fuck much better on average, and have much better hygeine. I would say there are just so many more quality girls to go around. Of course, I do speak the language enough to carry on some conversations and I certainly spend a lot of time there. So one could argue not a true apples to orange comparison.

OK then look at China, where my much less frequent trips are also usually short. Here I have the additional disadvantage of having zero language skills. Once again the caliber of girls I can bang at any time here completely outclasses what I can get in AC. For me the amount of GFE I get in china is every bit as good as I ever got in AC. The GFE is less drama, showering with compliments and PDA based but rather more focussed on fully pampering and satsisfying all your needs.

I will echo Tujunga's previous message in his china trip report, and this probably applies to Jakarta. If you only have two or three weeks a year places like Pattaya and AC are gonna be your best bets. These places are totally built up on catering to western sex tourists and they make it easy. But in my experience, if you are willing to absorb the learning curve of some of the non-western oriented venues, you will get a much better experience. Frankly I am shocked at all the sexpats I see in Asia who simply settle into AC or Pattaya most often without even mastering the local language. Hell I live in Singapore, which is the easiest place to get by with just english, and I went an learned another local language (Indonesian). It's paid big dividends. I am now almost at the point where I am ready to suck it up and learn some mandarin. I can only imagine how awesome the China experience will be then.

I know that more AC girls speak English than in Indonesia or Thailand, but would some Tagalog in a guy's voice help any with the GFE? My Spanish is decent and I could pick it up to a passable level. What say you, AC vets?

Since English is the second official language of the Philippines, everybody studies it in school. You will notice in Tagalog a significant Spanish influence, e.g.: kumusta (como esta); verde (verde).

The girls might appreciate your appropriate use of a few oft-used words, but, like most Asians, they are more interested in improving their own English than suffering your feeble attempts to speak Tagalog / Visayan / Waray, or the other 4 major languages, or the hundreds of dialects.

BTW, I just got back from Southern China again. This time I was scheduled to go to AC for the last fordays of the trip to meet up with some friends who I know won't ever come meet me in the places I like to go. But I had such an awesome time in China, I actually did cancel the AC leg. My only regret was not seeing some old friends.

Laslty Kemper your prices confuse me, the cost to to build the WO would the same at home despite much cheaper labor, fuel, and materials? Land ain't that expensive in AC. I also don't buy it, in China I stayed at Hotel every bit as nice as the WO except no pool for $30 a night. That price also includes breakfast (which I never wake up for!)

I guess value of Kemper's trip will be determined by his photos....his argument about excusing prices is wrong on so many levels but I dont want to get into it right now.
