After some of my earlier visits to Brazil I spent a good bit of time doing road reports, but I really haven't done much lately as my situation while here has be different than it previously was. That said, it might be of interest hearing from a regular Brazil visitor who has made the Continental #93 trip more than 40 times in te past 5 years.

First off, as it has often been discussed here, Brazil is no longer the bargain hunter's paradise hat it once was, primarily since the dollar now has 50% of the value it did during my earlier trips. So while it is no longer cheap, for me the women are still without equal. The raw passion of brasilleiras continues to amaze me.

I have been in town for 4 days and have visited a terma per day, Help! 3 times, and Carla from Starcris was my first Agency girl in quite some time.

To mem agencies are some of the best mainstream bargains in Brazil, but can be difficult if you don't speak a reasonable amount of Portuguese.

I hear you about going so far and then watching every penny. The thing is though, Centaurus girls arent all that special. I dont think the quality girls are any different than other termas. Maybe a 1/2 point higher, but certainly not justifiable to spend 2x (400 vs 200) as much.

I dont particularly enjoy my time in the boate of Centaurus. There are so few guys, that girls are constantly nagging you for drinks and wanting to take them to the room. And if I want foreplay (groping and kissing), I can get plenty of that at the other place for a lot less.

Centuruas is overpriced!!!! With that said, I always visit once every trip. rsrsrsrsrs. I love the boate and the beauty of the women there but the management, rooms, and showers are the worst of the big 5. I go early in my trip and get as many numbers as possible. I will take terma girls at night over Help girls any day. Whats funny is that the C girls are more reliable IME than the other girls from other termas.

RR, how much do the C girls normally ask for in order to come to your hotel? I had one that wanted 300R for an hour (She said "its the same price you would pay at Centaruas") I passed on her.

Centaurus has better looking women than the rest hands down...

All I can say to each their own....we all have our preferences. I do not like Centaurus, as I think it is way overpriced and you can get the same girls elsewhere, but if you got the $$$ - more power to you!

All I know is that I plan to never venture into Centaurus again. I like nothing about the place- the piranha garotas, the managers walking around making sure the garotas acted like piranhas, the weird plastic mattresses, she shitty relax room, the whole "if you're not brasilan we'll try and rip you off by making you pay up front and pay for a taxi ride", etc. I didn't care for it the last time I was there, when it was R$270 for entry and a program, which at the time was about US$90. I certainly like it a lot less now that it's R$400, or about US$240. I think I went there a total of three times, never paying in front, never paying for a taxi, and with a good exchange rate.

The programs were ok - nothing memorable, in fact one of the garotas I did there relocated to Luomo (and later 65), really beautiful but I didn't remember doing her at all. I started interviewing her at L and she got pissed that I forgot our program and it was only about 9 months later.

Centaurus is certainly a "love it, hate it" place.

Probably because they already know me (too well) I get treated very well there. I don't pay the tourist tax, or in advance (which are at best pyhrric (sp?)victories. I find the women a little more aggressive there but I have no problem saying "nao." While you can certainly find gems everywhere, I still contend that the percentage of beauties is higher there.
That said, it is the one Terma that I've visited this past week that is even making an effort to enforce the new smoking ban. I won't be heading down town until tomorrow, so I can't say what the impact is there.
Since Jaguar fucked up my "Smoking" post on the SA board, for anyone that might be interested this is what I've found on the smoking policy front-
Centaurus- No smoking in the boate. Smoking in the cabines and in the bullpen downstairs.
L'Uomo- Unaffected, same as always.
Solarium- Unaffected " " ".
Help!-Smoking is now restrict to the "Veranda."....btw, generally I do hate Help!, but it is much easier to interview the girls out there.
No impact at the outdoor locations..............Terraco Atlantico,Meia Petaca etc.

Non-smoking at the Centro termas was enforced for about the 1st hour on the 1st day. There is no way they are going to enforce no smoking at 4x4. Never going to happen. There was placard posted right as you entered the Cancun Whiskeria talking about no smoking and displaying the statute number. About 50% of the people were smoking. Same at 65.

A judge put an injunction against the statute and is trying to have it overturned. Therefore, for the time being, smoking is back on EVERYWHERE. Restaurants, bars, the whole works.

Catocony - That has been my experience as well, plus I never had as much pressure anywhere else to upgrade my room (which I NEVER do) and for two girls as in Centaurus. The last time I went in there, a couple of months ago, I did so because I had a friend who just loves that place and has plenty of cash to throw around (unfortunately I do not). I only paid the entrance - I swore up and down to myself I would only hang out with my buddy - but after making out with a hottie for about 30 minutes in the boite I just could not resist and ended up spending R$400.00. The ratio of girls to guys is quite good, however, since it is so expensive.

The last two days I did take advantage of the coupons from Solarium (Monday) and Monte Carlo (Tuesday) for the free cabines at each. These two locations are owned by the same people so they have many similarities. Two outstanding sessions. The thing to really keep in mind is that the session really begins in te bar and can be as quick or take as long as you want. For me typically, once I've made my pick based on looks and feel I'll spend another hour with her in the bar making out, playing with her and happily acquiescing to her playing with my dick and balls.

The rooms should be top rate not cheesy and full of plastic. If you want to run a VIP club run a VIP club!!!! And when is the last time you saw anyone sitting in that piece-o-crap hot tub that they have?
