Had to go to Thailand on business exactly 9 days after returning from the Philippines. One of those rare ocassions that I was able to work in Thailand and get paid for it. It was originally scheduled for a 7 day trip but I extended it to 12 days after a couple hearings were cancelled.

Spent 3 nights in BKK, one of the days in Ayutthaya and 8 nights in Pattaya.

Chapter One: Back to Bangkok

In all of my travels to Thailand, I notice that I am spending almost no time in Bangkok, other than my last night. I just dont like the outrageous prices there and there is very little to do during the day except sleep, shop and see a movie. I just have never seen anything worth fucking at Soi7 beer bar in a long time and the Soapies really dont get good until 7pm or so. The novelty of the soapies has worn off and the soapies with the real hotties have prices that are even more expensive than the Brazilian termas.

I arrived at the new hotel and took a meter taxi. The airport is so damn far from Bangkok that the trip ends up being about triple in time and price as when the airport was actually in Bangkok. Booked a hotel called the Key Hotel on Soi 19. I really enjoyed the rooms there and the location is great. Close enough to the sky train, right next to Soi Cowboy and easy to get to off of Sukhumvit. I was able to get a decent rate of $62 per night on hotelclub web site. I was able to have a drink with Dave the Rave at Angel Witch. A great guy to talk to and a wealth of information. Love the fact that Beer Lao is now a common beer in Bangkok, especially at Angel Witch. They still have amazing shows but the talent is much much better than it was on my last trip. A lot of high level talent here. Rainbow 4 has some cuties as usual but nothing compared to what it was.

There had been a fire at Mandarin while I was there and the place was closed most of the time I was there. The fire was quite a scene as the lights went out for a good hour or so and the place had tons of smoke. Appears the fire was in the office of Mandarin above the club. During the fire, it was pitch black and was able to have a cute young thing latch on to me and told me she was scared. For an hour, the electricity was out and some guys left but I was just fingering my girl while kissing her and not once did the mamasan bug me for an LD. Finally decided to barfine her(I believe Rainbow 2) and piad my tab of just one beer and a barfine under a flashlight.

Had an amazing time with her and fucked all night but in the morning tried to get some photos of this beautiful creature but heard the words I would hear over and over and over again in Thailand....."ANTARAI, Thai loop mai dai" Loosely, it means "its dangerous, cannot take a photo" blah blah blah. I fucked 5 of the top 10 best looking Asian girls I have seen in the P4P scene on this trip and of the 15 girls I fucked, only 4 would allow photos, none in Bangkok. On 6 ocassions, girls agreed to take photos then backed out. Needless to say I was pissed and docked 500 baht on my tip. Tipped this girl 2,000 for LT which is less than normal in BKK these days, especially in the BKK bars. She was pissed off and kept asking for 3,000. Its too bad cause I had an amazing time with this beautiful sweetie. I could care less if she was pissed, so was I.

I think you wronged the girl by paying her 2,000B which isn't the going rate at R4. You just fucked it up for the next white guy.

You are right SAD, I underpaid her big time. ON the net on other sites, the girls are requiring 2,500 LT minimum. I was paying Pattaya rates in BKK...foolish me.

If you are in Udon Thani, you pay Udon Thani prices. If you are in R4, you pay R4 prices. Why is it so hard to figure out.

There is no definitive price structure for certain bars....never has been. There is only a range and I was definately within the range of a reasonable tip for Nana. If she was expecting 3,000 baht($100) for LT then she could have stated so and I would not have barfined her.

This does bring up a good point though...the days of not having to negotiate ahead of time in BKK are long gone. It really takes away from the session, but negotiating everything ahead of time is mandatory these days in BKK. Interestingly enough, on another board, guys were saying I overpaid.

I'd be curious to know where those guys on other sites are getting girls for less than 2000 LT (unless they are expats that have the time to develop the long-term relationships to make something like that happen), but it sure isn't out of the gogos of Nana and Cowboy. I got one for 2500 LT about 2 years ago; it's all been 3000 since. Which is the big reason why I have pretty much given up on LT in Bangkok these days. It's something I do sparingly.

And things have changed. Mongerers really do need to negotiate prices up front in Bangkok now. If they don't, it can make for a bad scene when realities collide.

SAD, in most of the Thai only bars, I would be killed before they would let me in, unless with another Thai guy.

The issue of extremely hot girls at Thai only venues is an urban legend. Have been to some quasi Thai only VIP/Karaoke/Massage venues and just found the girls to be a lot more chubby and lighter skin.

For me, makes more sense to be in venues where girls are used to farang and I have an edge being able to speak Thai. In a Thai venue, many girls are apprehensive about being with a farang as many of the girls are blackballed by the Chinese Thai after they are caught with the farang.

It's no urban legend. There are a ton of hot ladies at those places. After hanging out on Ratchada 13 with a white buddy and a Thai friend, the girls in Rainbow 4, Angelwitch, and Mandarin are very dissappointing.

Just to let you know, my Thai skills are similar to a newborn.

But hey, if you feel uncomfortable being in a Thai venue, I don't blame you for hanging out in farang places.
