Just returned home for the 4th of July weekend after a "Wacky Week in Moscow" with a girl from the provinces. I tried an experiment by sending some money (in advance) to a girl I had met a year ago at El Inka, the Peruvian restaurant / dance club out by Oktyaberskoye Pole Metro.

Funnily enough, she actually showed up and stayed with me for more than a week. What I sent her was enough for her to come to Moscow (by train no less) from her home in deepest darkest Siberia. She's a single Mom who lives with her mother and her son. She's a nice little blond 45 Kg spinner who tells me that she does not get regular sex at home because she works for the city government and that the city is "too small" to have casual sex without raising career damaging rumors.

She took good care of me by cleaning the apartment, cooking some meals, and even doing the laundry a few times. As you can imagine, the first few days were hell on wheels. It was non-stop sex whether I was in the mood or not!

However, after 4 days or so it was all getting to be a bit too routine. At one point she even gave me shit about drinking too much vodka after a client dinner. That was the end of the fun.

Having a live-in Russian girlfriend turned out to be more trouble than it was worth. As you might have been able to predict, unbridled sex soon turned into drama and the inevitable question of additional compensation raised it's ugly head. Not that I blame the girl - time is money and she deserves to be compensated. I just wish she would have been a little more up-front about the whole thing and what she expected. But then again, I was not being specific either.

Anyhow - after one evening of tears, I bought her yet another train ticket to Odessa so she could spend some of her vacation in the sun. Again, not that I begrudged her the money, but drama required to reach closure was a bit tiresome. A friend I had told about the whole affair said it was the "Russian way".

Total cash compensation was about $900 (in train fare) plus what ever it took to keep that small bird fed. She didn't drink alcohol so she was a cheap date. I took her out to dinner a few times to nice (by her standards) restaurants and had a lot of fun one night in a karaoke bar.

She stayed with me a total of 10 nights so all things considered, things worked out well for both of us. Had I not sent her the money in advance, she told me that she would have spend her vacation in Siberia.

But truth be told, I don't think I would do the same thing again without some pretty firm setting of expectations. The GFE was nothing short of spectacular and she was quite sweet and attentive. There was certainly chemistry between the two of us but, like most Russian women, she was prone to the occasional flare up and yelling session. After all, I was there for business and not a sex vacation so I didn't need any extra drama.

But like I said up front, it was an experiment and we both had a nice time. Of course, the leap of faith was sending the money in the first place and taking the risk that she would just not show up at all.

I eventually did get rid of her and managed to get one night with another girl. The change was refreshing and exciting and only confirmed in my mind that I would not do anymore mail order girlfriends from Siberia.

A grand for 4 days of sexual enjoyment is too rich for my blood. But I bet she was gorgeous and a performer! Glad you had a great time.

What is the "Russian Way"? I am curious.

I have never been with a russian, just a girl from Estonia I met in DC. Gorgeous girl with dark hair and the prettiest blue eyes. She may have given the worst BJ of my life, but I stayed with her for other reasons. (I valued intelligence back in those days, for some reason).

The "Russian Way" I have come to learn is something quite complex. But for good reason.

After the fall of the Soviet Union, Russia went through a period of lawlessness and relative chaos. But over time people started to figure out how to deal with the new capitalism and make their way forward both economically and in terms of relationships in the "New Russia". Then, in 1997 they had to deal with a massive financial crisis. Many people saw their hard earned savings since 1991 evaporate overnight. Since then, Russian have had to readjust to economic reality AGAIN and many are very skeptical about the future. Talking about something that may happen next month with the average Russian is like me talking about the year 2020 with you.

So now, when you deal with Russians, especially people from the provinces, you have to take into account a propensity for short term thinking. They are literally incapable of making long term plans or trusting in the future. Being open and honest with me and negotiating a bargain for the week was something my little "provincalka" could not do. In her mind, Step 1 was getting me to pay for the train ticket to Moscow. Step 2 was actually getting into my apartment. Step 3 was getting me to like her (screw her brains out) enough to keep her around. Step 4 was creating the drama to get me to either throw her out, or cough up some more dough.

I know this sounds lot like some of the GDP's in Brazil, but this is even more extreme. For example, she waited until day 8 to make a scene to try to get me to pay for her ticket to Odessa. Why wait so long? Why not hit me up on day 5? At least if I threw her out on day 5 then she could have used the time to hook up with another guy and make some more money. She took a huge risk in waiting until the last minute before the drama act. Remember, I had only bought her a train ticket from Siberia to Moscow and return at then point. Had I thrown her out with nothing she would have wasted several days (nights) of earning potential. This is what I mean by the "Russian Way". Some have suggested that she was holding out for a possible husband despite the fact that she had a career and family back in Siberia.

Make no mistake - this girl had a plan to get me to pay for her trip to Odessa. It just wasn't a good plan. And still - $900+ for 10 days of sex? Not exactly a rip off is it? What perplexes me is the method she used to play the whole drama out. This girl was no dummy; she's a lawyer. But yet she seemed destined to play out this little vignette.

After having experienced this drama, I am starting to gain a better appreciate for Checkov and Destoevsky and Russian literature in general. It's like this grim tragedy that plays itself out.

But damn, those girls are hot in bed.

Well RJ, I think I get it.
But I agree with CFK on this one -- generally speaking, this is just "the puta way" not the "russian way".
Trying to turn a short-term rental into a girlfriend generally doesn't work. We pay to rent them to not have drama.
This is why I refuse to bring those Rio garotas from Help back to my apartment. I don't want them kicking and screaming, threatening to call the police, etc in the middle of the night -- all just an attempted act to get some extra money. Don't you just hate a dishonest whore (haa-haa).

This sounds familiar to BlueLight's report about the puta he took with him on vacation. But, at least you got 4 great nights of sex with this one. You should read his report, it will make you think you hit the lotto with your girl.
