I never post anything but after going to Cartagena about 15 times I feel inclined to comment on the prices.

On my first trip several years ago I did nearly every girl in La Dolce Vida for 80,000 pesos which was only about $35 with the good exchange rate back then. Now I pay 100k pesos more often than 80k but I still never pay more than 100k including the LDV girls. However, with the exchange rate today 100k pesos is $60, which is partially why so many guys have stopped going to Colombia. Friends that I have met in Cartagena over the years are now telling me to join them in Thailand or the Philippines and get a quality girl all night for $30 or go to the Dominican and get them for $40 or less for an hr. Brazil is also a new first choice for some guys.

Nevertheless, the bottom line on Cartagena is that I just returned from a 2 week visit and I never paid more than 100,000 pesos ($60). Yes, I have read and I have experienced where the girls ask for 150-200k pesos but I average 2 girls per day and I never pay more than 100k for 30 min to 2 hrs. I often only pay 50-80k pesos especially during the day. There will always be a few girls that I can not get for these prices but I get plenty of 7’s, 8’s and 9’s for 100k or less and my past experience (green horn days) has been that most of the pricier girls are usually worse not better in bed which only adds insult to injury. In fact, I cannot recall ever paying above the norm and being glad I did it!

Everyone has his own style but I will share what works for me. I will not post pics or reveal too many specific details about myself because too many guys fall in love with the girls and share the postings and I don’t want to shit in my nest. I will only say that I am an average looking/built middle aged guy.

1. I have learned that if I go in the LDV or Tu Candelas with a blue vein throbber and geeking at the girls like they are crack rocks I will never get one under 200k ($120)! Say what you want about the girls but they are not stupid and they know your weaknesses! I can usually find a decent blowjob from a street girl for 40-50k in the afternoon or early evening so I’m not cross-eyed and drooling on myself when I enter a nightclub.

2. If I pay more than 100k on the first night I will have to pay over 100k every night as word travels fast with the girls. Therefore I might settle for a 6 or 7 in the 11th hour on my first night for 80-100k. For example, my first night on my last trip there was a group of 5 girls banning together at LDV that would not go below 150k. I told them that they knew very well there are enough girls in there for 80-100k so I left with a 6 for 80k at about 3am to prove my point. The second night the ringleader (which I’d rate as an 8) from the night before went with me for 100k and she was calling me almost everyday before I left for 80k.

3. I never ask them how much they want. I always make the first offer between 60 & 80k. This way they counter lower than their usual asking price and I can usually get them to meet me at 80-100k after a few minutes if we like each other. I even did a 3some with 2 LDV girls for 150k total on my 4th night. One of them gave a bbbj like a hoover vacuum cleaner so I saw her individually several times after that for 70k. No, she wasn’t a 10 but her bbbj (a spitter) was an 11 and it served well on several days for a pre-game warm-up before going out to the clubs.

4. I always build repoir first. The price is usually lower if I can make them laugh and if they know it will not be too dreadful of an experience. Also, a little Spanish goes a long way. I usually start with a little small talk to see if I even like them and to see if I can win them over before making an offer. I had a girl that was a solid 9 which always gets 150-200k go with me for 100k within 20 minutes of meeting her. After a couple more times for 100k she was calling me and seeing me for 80k. No, they all won’t do that but some will if they like you.

5. It’s better to tell them that they are worth more than they are asking and they deserve the best but I am not rich so maybe I don’t deserve them. Also, when they counter 150-200k I tell them that I don’t need all night, I tell her in fact she is so pretty I probably just need a few seconds. It always helps to say that I have another girl waiting for 70k or 80k but I prefer to go with you if you want to work with me. I usually tell them that if the chemistry is good I will see her many times. I used to want a different girl every day but I got tired of paying for surprises and disappointments so now I don’t try to fix it if it ain’t broke and I do more repeats when I find one that works well for me.

6. I never pay upfront anymore. I have shown a few beautiful women to the door that refused to give services before they are paid but I’ve had just as many run out the door with my money before completing services when I paid upfront. I just tell them that I know Cartagena and it’s not the norm to pay first. If they still refuse it’s better to pay their taxi and cut my losses early.

7. Also keep in mind the seasons. I don’t pay over 100k during any season but it’s easier in the low seasons. The girls were telling me that June was slow but the Italians will come in July and the Spaniards will come in August. They say December and January are busy too but I really think there is a shift in tourism in Colombia according to some apartment managers that I know. A lot of regular clients are not returning to rent apartments anymore and I think that the girls are starting to feel it too.

8. If she speaks fluent English, haul ass! The ones that speak fluent English usually are good at getting high prices from guys who don’t speak Spanish. If you don’t speak Spanish it’s better to scribble the prices on a napkin with a non english-speaking girl than to think you are having an intimate conversation with a girl that “understands you.”

9. If you are a high roller and you are not concerned with prices that is fine but just remember that the girls will never confuse you for being a generous person as it is their job to take your kindness for weakness and make you like it. I have had many girls open up to me and tell me about the stupid tourists that pay too much as well as the tourists that are wiring money to the girls that are naked with me. Personally I would rather them call me tight than stupid. I make good money and I could easily pay 200k and play the big shot but why? A construction worker in Colombia earns about $10 per day so I think $60 for 1 hour is more than fair. Furthermore, when I have to pay more than 100k pesos I’m joining my friends in Thailand, the Philippines or the Dominican for ½ the money.

In conclusion, I have only posted my personal experience. I respect that the experiences and perspectives of others may be different but not wrong. Therefore, there is no need to volley back and forth on the message board and take up more valuable space so I will not respond to any positive or negative postings.

That's only 1000 baht. You'd be very lucky to find a quality girl for a 2hr short time for that money in Bangkok, though you might be able to pull it off in Pattaya (depending on your perception of 'quality').

I use your strategy in #5 above all the time in Rio, and it works like a charm. The girls appreciate the flattery, and as long as you don't act like a Cheap Charlie there's a good chance they'll accept your offer. I always speak in terms of "presents," is in "I can give you a present of XXX" and they seem to prefer that to talk of being paid. What definitely does not work is to tell a girl "sorry, I never pay more than XXX." You've just told her she has no say in the matter, so odds are she'll walk away.

On the payment in advance issue, I found that I was able to overcome the skepticism of a few girls by counting out the cash, laying it on a nearby table, and saying "it's yours when we're done." If she refuses that, she's history.

Great points. I have to admit that I paid 150k in LDV for a "10", but she was not a great performer. During the day I had no problem with the prices you quoted, but LDV was more of a challenge.

I typically pay 50-80 for daytime streetgirls or beach girls, and 100-150 for tln at night. you can't have all the 10's at ldv for that price, but you can have a few. nice report.

another thing i'd add is i've never paid an upsell....and usually get what i'm aiming to get anyways. you're usually labeled a sucker once you start paying more or paying for upsells. same goes for TJ where they are famous for that.

I got stuck paying 200 last night at LDV. It was my first time there but I honestly did do a great job of "trying" to negotiate. I just found one who would not budge. I'm anxious to get back there and try again. This was a trophy chick but she did stay for four rounds and left at about 11:00 this morning, which was great.

I normally rent from Mery. Her contact info is on here somewhere. If you are by yourself, expect to pay about $70-$80 per night for a nice place in Laguito. I've never tried a hotel there and have always been very pleased with the apartments.
