Either earlier this year, or late last year Layne87 asked me for my comments on the differences between Rio and BA. This started some comparisons that many of you have commented on. I have thought about this again, and have a couple of different reflections.

I need to add one other thought that is not a BA / Rio issue, but is rather about the name I use on the site “canonperdido”. This is really a combination of two Spanish words “canon perdido”. This name was picked for other reasons unrelated to this story, but I finally wanted to know what it translated to in English. I was actually kind of shocked when I found out. “canonperdido” translates from Spanish in English as “Lost Cannon”. Now I did not pick the name because of the translation, but at the age of 58 I find the translation ironic for me because my cannon certainly does not fire the same way it did at 25. This translation certainly applies at 58 when you have had something to drink. Even if you are taking the little blue pills, the "canonperdido" problem will get to you someday if it has not already.

At 58, I can certainly remember what it was like between 20 and about 37 before the “canonperdido” issue started to apply.

Now I will continue with my BA / Rio comparison. I would have to say that the biggest difference is that there are terma’s in Rio, and none in BA. If you think about it, the “canonperdido” symptom may also be an issue here. In reflections from reading the posting, I think that the younger guys on this board love the termas because the “canonperdido” symptom has not begun to bother them yet. I mean what better place would there be to fire you canon continuously then a terma. I mean most of us could probably imagine a terma as the same thing as being in heaven. Of course those of us that are old enough to now suffer the “canonperdido” symptom would feel cheated in a terma because we could only do it once if we were lucky, and then would have to site an watch all the other canons popping while we were sitting there with a droopy cannon. Since BA does not have termas, it is certainly harder to keep your canon plumbing as continuously employed, and as easily as you can in a terma. There is almost no place in BA that you can just keep popping and popping as you can as a terma in Rio.

Finding candidates in absence of a terma is certainly harder in BA because you do not have those beautiful ladies walking around in front of you keeping your canons hard like they do are Centaurs, or other termas in Rio. In BA you have all these great clubs, and the great www.escorts-argentina.com web site. You can go to Barbarella, Franks, or Help in Rio, but it is just not the same as BA. The other thing about BA, at least for me, is that there is more of a hunt in BA that one has to go through because you do not have the cabina as you do in a terma. The process of finding likely candidates in BA is very frustrating for some mongers as one can observe in the postings on this board. However, if one is diligent, I think that the payoff from the hunt is so great in BA that it has always appealed to me after my first trip to BA. The other thing in that BA you usually take the ladies back to your hotel. I find it much more enjoyable to take the ladies back to my hotel, get to talk with them, and then shoot my cannon.

The other thing that appeals to me that I would say that in general the women are a little older in BA then you normally find in Rio. For those that like 19 or 20 year old women, it is harder to find women this age in BA, and though this in not entirely true, as will be discussed in the postings of the ladies that I found on this trip. I also find that ladies a little older are less inhibited.

There is one last comparison that I would like to make. For me having sex is all about the mood, the feelings, and shooting your canon. Anything that interferes with any of these items can seem like trying to fire your canon in the rain when the powder is wet, and the flint will not light anything. In a terma there is a time issue. Sometimes I personally feel rushed. When I feel rushed, I usually suffer the canon droop. In BA, you are usually not on a clock in the same way that you are in Rio. Therefore, I do not suffer canon droop in BA.

When I was younger, some massage parlors in LA in the late 70s had Rio terma like qualities. They would have so many 18 – 22 year old Korean beautiful ladies that even when I was on the clock I could get the young canon to shoot 4 or 5 times. One time I even got of six shots. However, since I suffer some of the “canonperdido” issues now, I do not like being on the clock. Therefore, I like BA because we can overcome (no pun intended) “canonperdido” related issues.

I know that there are many different personal perceptions to compare Rio, and BA, but these are some of mine.

Great reports, CP. I too can have the problem of canon perdido and find the pace and ambience of BA much to my liking. I have never been to Rio, though I would love to go. I think BA offers the right combination of factors for me too. The hunt, the vital urban life, using my Spanish, and the great things to do when not mongering, make BA a superb choice. I never felt like I could not find enough or quality action. It is not a slam on Rio to extol the virtues of BA. The contrast should lead to informed decision making. Again, great reports.

Ha, ha. Great comments Canonperdido. I never even saw your post. I was scrolling down when I saw it. I will be visiting Rio for my first time in 3 weeks. I'm VERY curios to see how I'll like it. I'm sure I'll have a great time.

I love Buenos Aires. Something about that city gets under your skin. Total package in my book. I hope Rio has the same effect on me. Most of the girls i see are Brasileras (although from Southern Brazil). I'll do a comparison on the two cities when I return.

I don't know if I'll like termas better than just sitting in the comfort of my apartment and having girls come over. I like being in my own bed. Don't get me wrong...I'm sure i'll love the termas but we'll see. I'm in Rio for 8 days so that should give me plenty of time to see plenty of action.

The only thing you can do in a terma is to make love. I mean if you are a rabbit, it is really great. I have been in a terma, but since I am not 19, at 58 it is pretty hard to be a rabbit. Even with viagra.

I have to say, that if I were 19, my feelings might be different.

The great thing about a term, is that you can just stay there, and keep popping as many different cuites as you want. This is great at 19, but at 58 when you only get 1 or 2 canon shots a day if you are lucky, the BA has it over Rio.
