As a monger, the highlight of my Vietnam trip was the beach resort of Nha Trang. Plenty of pussy available on the beach and in the bars. GFE service from taxi girls who weren’t afraid to spend the night with you. But while Vietnam was a delightful country to visit as a regular tourist, the mongering scene left a lot to be desired. Compared to Cambodia, where the brothels offered plenty of fresh Vietnamese meat, prices were high and the service was sub-par.
Even though I fucked plenty of girls during my 1 month tour of Vietnam in 1999, I neglected to collect any pictures of the taxi girls. My long overdue return for a short visit to Ho Chi Minh City would allow me to set the record straight.
Girl Friendly Hotel
I arrived in Ho Chi Minh City just after 6 PM and tugged my heavy luggage around the Pham Ngu Lao area, looking for a girl friendly hotel. When I enquired at reception, none of the hotels could accommodate me. The motorcycle drivers were no help whatsoever. They either didn’t understand what I wanted or didn’t know of any girl friendly hotels. The recommendations from a hotel security guard turned out to be a dead end. I walked around for hours...
Finally, a taxi drove me to the Minh Vy hotel. His meter was rigged, so the short drive ended up costing me 4 USD. The rooms were nice, and the hotel was perfectly girl friendly. Yet I walked away... After the taxi drove off, I walked back to the Minh Vy hotel and checked in. Without the taxi driver’s commission, the room was 5 USD cheaper.
Gossip
Right outside the hotel, I was approached by a pimp. As I was walking towards De Tham St, I was accosted by one ladyboy after another. After having dinner at Kim Cafe and getting some local currency, I went back to the hotel and changed my clothes. Time to head for the disco...
At nearby Gossip, I was hit with a 120.000 VND cover charge, while the locals walked straight in. The only beer they had was Heineken aka Cat’s Piss. I wasn’t allowed to take my drink on the dance floor, so I finished it quickly. The small, circular dance floor was full of guys and it didn’t take long before I was approached by... a fucking pimp! I hate this place!
Gossip was extremely crowded on a Saturday night. They employ security guards to escort people to and from their seat! Looking around, I spotted some absolutely stunning babes. Of course, they all had company. Judging from the bottles of Remy Martin and fruit platters on almost every table, I guess Gossip is where the beau monde parties on weekends.
Looking up, I figured the girls hugging the railing on the 2nd floor might be working girls. When I made my way up, I got some smiles from the ugly girls. The beauties totally ignored me and simply walked away when I approached them. They only fuck little pricks!
At closing time, most of the foreigners left alone. A couple of guys did find company. A little later, I overheard a conversation as they were negotiating outside my hotel. The girl wanted 70 USD ST. The room was another 30 USD, making a grand total of 100 USD ST. Too rich for his blood! I can’t blame the guy. She definitely wasn’t worth it!
Motorcycle Girls & Freelancers
As I walked in the direction of De Tham St, I was approached by motorcycle drivers all the time. I don’t deal with fucking pimps!
When I smiled at a really pretty girl, she came over to talk to me. Jiao wanted 40 USD ST or 100 USD LT. I got her down to 30 USD ST. When we got to my room, she wanted to be paid in advance. Nope! She wanted me to put the money on the table. Nope! I wanted to take some pictures of her. Nope! She asked for taxi money when I showed her the door. Nope!
Back on De Tham St, I was propositioned by a few ugly girls I had no interest in. When I finally met a cutie, she wanted 500.000 VND ST. When I replied she was an expensive girl, she simply walked away...

Epilogue
Ho Chi Minh City is littered with pimps, touts and other assorted vermin. It’s difficult to talk directly to the girls. Even then, they won’t do anything without their pimp’s permission. I’d had enough!
As I woke up to have a pee, I discovered there was a construction site across the street. Pneumatic drilling from early morning would prevent most people from sleeping. Luckily, I’m not a light sleeper. The infernal noise irritated the crap out of me when I woke up early afternoon, though. Get me out of here!
