This is just a quick update on Memorial Day Weekend in San Jose Costa Rica. I got in Saturday and left Tuesday.

Several of the seasoned crew, including Ace00, MrEsteban, R., who's a lurker, and myself, plus quite a few newbies to CR including k_eemo and dapple747 were there. Actually MrEsteban was doing his first CR trip, but he's been to quite a few other destinations.

I'll let the others speak for themselves, other than to say that it was good company indeed.

I had my usual good time at the Park Hotel, only stopping at the Blue Marlin for lunch one day. I was at the Park Hotel show Saturday night. It was a good crowd, and there's at least one very good looking new girl, so new my favoritas didn't even know her name. No champagne was poured on the girls, which may not be so good for the hombres, but is probably better for the girls. One of the prettiest girls in the show has not been participating as of late because the champagne was irritating her skin.

I'm very into girlfriend experiences, and so I spent most of the time with one of my favoritas, while R. monopolized my other one. But that's OK, he's a friend, and she kept me company the last night.

One pleasant surprise was the quality of the daytime girls at the Park Hotel... Ace00 had recommended one in particular, so I took her and a friend and had a pleasant time on Saturday afternoon. I should also mention that in my last post I mentioned that R., one of the better looking and better known girls of the evening crew had a bit of a reputation for not being very into her job. She joined A., one of my favoritas, and I on Sunday night for dinner and some fun, and I'm happy to report that she can meet my high standards for energy and attitude.

My other Park Hotel girl of the weekend was L., whom I've seen before. Very high energy, and can be a very pleasant experience.

A word for MilkManDan... you must try to meet up with dapple747 on a future trip. He was so kid-in-a-candy-store, he's exactly like you. The two of you could have a competition to see how many Del Rey girls you can do in a weekend.

MrEsteban... you and TJHombre ought to open a discussion thread as to what improvements members want from the board. We talked a little about ideas, but it's probably a good one to collect everyone's. Put a thread up and I'll contribute.

Tampa Gringo is getting very serious with his lady friend. I'm sure we all wish him a graceful exit from the scene, and much happiness in the future.

Finally, the Presidente continues to inch slowly toward completion of its renovation. Plans include a bar where the tour desk used to be. That should be a welcome addition indeed.

Cripes, I sound like a society columnist. But then, mongerdom is a society of its own. Here's to us all.
