Up early, feeling fine.
Had the rental place confirm my flight departure time.
NIcholey buzzed the door while I was on the phone; returning the security deposit.
Went for a last stroll.
The architect of the State.
Another yummy mommy
They arranged for a cab for 12:30.
While showering the cleaning lady arrived. Not too bad looking a blonde AND she was looking at my towel. Told her to come back in 15 min.
Finished, packed, and she returned.
The taxi dude arrived on time in a nice Skoda and was doing a smooth 160 kph to the airport.
Paid him the 150 UAH flat rate, plus 2 for parking.
Too damn early to even check-in at Terminal "A".
Waited 15, then a smooth transition thru.
Easy flight (smooth & comfortable) which left early and landed earlier.
It also didn't hurt to half a few "bomba's" to look at.
Aerial view from the camcorder approaching Odessa.
No one waiting on arrival so borrowed a drivers' phone and called Julia. Driver was on his way.
He showed up in 15 with his daughter in the front seat. A cutie, but out-of-bounds!
Anna from the agency was waiting at the apartment. A half-assed looker, originally from Canada. The place was pure class inside.
Paid the balance and used a 50 Euro note as a security deposit.
Here are some shots including the grand entrance from "Pushinskaya Street"
All the above for a cost-effective $ 108 USD per night.
Went for a 1 hour walk and picked up the basic supplies including 0.5 l. bottles of Pilsner Uruquel at the equivalent of $1.40 each.
"Deribasovskaya Street was even more than expected. Just overrun with lookers.
Main drag.
More on my first night in Odessa later.
