I just spent one week in BA, my first ever trip to this wonderful city. From a mongering, and even a basic tourist trip, I can summarize it as GREAT!!

THANKS. Let me begin by thanking Moondog, Ezeamante, SF_Hombre and Unpocoloco for wonderful advice that saved me much money and time as well as pointed me in the right direction for finding the type of companionship I was seeking.

OBJECTIVE. My goal in my 7 days in BA (Nov 2002) was to have several GFEs with quality ladies. I was not seeking 2 hr discounted "quickies," rather full "dates" with chicas that were good-looking, charming and fun. So, please consider my results with what any of you readers may be seeking in BA.

My theory, which works quite well, is since I seek GFEs, I reciprocate with BFEs (new term for our glossary - BoyFriend Experiences). Yes, money is the motivator, but if you make the chica feel special, she will be much more affectionate and will make your "money go farther."

BACKGROUND. Balance my trip report on my background -I'm fluent in Spanish, in good physical condition, have extensive global travel experience, dress well (hombres, lose the sneakers and jeans, that's a common complaint I heard from every chica - that many U.S. guys don't dress well) and try to be as gentlemanly as possible. So, this facilitated my establishing good relations with all the chicas I met as well as making my first trip to Argentina rather simple. As I convey my experiences, I'll skip the graphic details out of respect for the chicas. Also, I do not have photos to share, but nearly all can be found on the websites I'll mention.

PREPARATION. The more you prepare, the better your trip will be in all respects. Time and, to an extent, money are limited for me, so I wanted to arrive in BA with a well-established plan and an initial program already set up with costs established. I spent three months prepping for this adventure. Of course, now I can return to BA on short notice and still have a wonderful time.

I spent MMAANNYY hours (actually days!) reviewing the CH posts, numerous e-mail consultations with the above listed mongers, additional e-mails with the escorts-argentina webmistress, Adriana (wonderful lady who knows the score and is truly helpful), checking websites for lodging and scouring all the BA escorts websites (looking for my type of chicas) I developed my "BA schedule." That was my initial preparation.

2 weeks before my trip, I e-mailed all the chicas I liked (who also had e-mails listed, 19 total) a well-written (in all modesty) message in Spanish outlining my desire in having a "novia temporal" (temporary girlfriend). 11 replied. I established an "e-mail rapport" with 7 of them, narrowing the list further after more e-mails and speaking on the phone. I spoke with all of them at least once by phone (long distance charges are minimal if you enhance your relationship in advance or can eliminate one before you meet). Again my fluency in Spanish made the e-mails and phone calls easy for me. Even if you have limited Spanish, give it a try - the chicas appreciate the effort. Believe me, they do know how to show their "appreciation."

PRICES. Everything is CHEAP!! Food, lodging, transportation, entertainment is extremely affordable, no matter what your budget. I did not shop, but heard leather goods & clothes were at great prices.

CHICA PRICES. From all the previous CH posts, I thought the chicas would cost less. Still, for what I experienced (and I never bargained), I felt I always got more than my money's worth. My costs are listed below.

LOGISTICS. I wanted to stay in a nice furnished apartment in Recoleta - it's the best area (based on the great CH posts and confirmed by my experience) and apartments offer me more space and privacy than hotels. After much internet searching, I found a fine, elegant 1 bedroom (w/CD) for a mere $205 in central Recoleta. Plus a driver to take me roundtrip to the airport (who also ran several errands for me, incl taking me grocery shopping upon my arrival as I stocked up on snacks, wine, champagne, juice, fruit and LOTS od bottled WATER). The apartment doorman and manager were quite friendly, treating all my visiting chicas like princesses (which they reciprocated in turn to me). Given my fluency in Spanish, I lived like a king. :-)

Taxis are abundant and cheap. I would give the driver a street intersection, they'd find it no sweat. My apartment was conveniently close to cafes, internet shops and restaurants.

HOW IT WENT. FANTASTIC!!! I arrived for 7 days on a Fri morning with an afternoon session already scheduled, followed by a dinner party Fri evening organized by Moondog for all the visiting hombres (my afternoon chica accompanied). I also had my afternoon chica invite a girlfriend to join us at the dinner party for dinner and after-dinner trio. Sat and Mon evenings I also had dates scheduled with other chicas, plus I had several other telephone numbers of internet chicas I had corresponded with.

I met with Sandy (BEAUTIFIL, exotic eyes, petite, sweet, passionate, escorts-argentina) right on time on Fri afternoon. Spent a great afternoon together (guess what we did). We established a good initial relationship that only got better. As evening approached, she changed into a sexy yet elegant pantsuit for dinner, were joined by her friend Chamila (slender, small, blonde, German ethnic background, looks demure on the outside, volcano in the bedroom; sensualbaires.com; I had Sandy pick her friend for the trio, as chemistry between the chicas is crucial for a good trio).

Chamila stayed with us until 3:30 PM on Sat afternoon (yes, TLN extended well into the next day). Let's just say EVERY desire was deliciously explored and satisfied in several sessions. BTW, I made a quick call to cancel my previouly arranged Sat date (it's a common courtesy).

Sat evening & Sun during the day Sandy was my total companion. Besides the wonderful sex (several different times), we talked, went to the theater, joked, walked around Recoleta, snuggled and enjoyed each other's company. Sandy also did a sensual dance for me, too (WOW!).

Sandy was a TOTAL GFE. I ended up having 5 TLNs with her out of 7 nights in BA. Total costs for Sandy (5 TLNs plus several days) was $1100. Chamila joined us again on Sun afternoon. We all then shared an explosive 3 hr trio, we then went to dinner and the movies. Total costs for Chamila (effectively 3 sessions) was $300.

Mon I had a late morning coffee with a visiting hombre and compared notes at Cafe Orleans. I then had a pre-arranged lunch in Recoleta with Aixa (tall, slender, intelligent, redhead, sharp-looking; escorts-argentina) followed by a nice afternoon session ($100). I had scheduled to see Aixa later in the week, but I did not feel the "chemistry" I liked, so I cancelled further dates (much to her fiery chagrin).

Mon evening I had a date scheduled with Amira (dark hair, lovely eyes, petite, sweet, nice personality; escorts-argentina). Another instant GFE. We went to a dress up tango show w/dinner, followed by a sensual TLN.

Amira and I met again for lunch on Tues followed by a passionate afternoon session. As we chatted, she expressed an "openness for trios." After some further spicy comments and a quick phone call, I arranged a trio with Sandy and Amira for Tues evening. The trio was good for global standards, but sub par for BA standards. After an hour of scoping the interesting and quite willing female clientele, I left with Carla (no pic available, but BEAUTIFUL, long black hair, firm, slender figure, petite, stunning natural green eyes, looked like an Italian model). Spent a nice, HOT afternoon session.

Wed evening had a date with drinks scheduled with Marian (classy, hard body, blonde (dyed), charming; area-vip.com). She arrived 1 hr late (but called ahead to let me know she was running late) with an casual, yet elegant, blouse, form fitting jeans and heels. We walked to a nearby cafe for drinks and a chat, just like a "real date." Marian & I then went back to my place for several hrs of passion; she left at 1:00 AM. Note about Marian, I initially had not planned to see her, as when we were e-mailing, she responded with $500 for a session. I politely declined, but did not negotiate, as I do not negotiate. She continued sending me well-written, coy and insistent e-mails expressing interest in meeting me. She finally offered $250 for an "evening date." Still a little pricey for me, but she had been so persistent, I agreed. Overall, it was worth it, as she was a "high-class" chica. She also said she'd be happy to share in a trio with another chica when I return. These are good problems...

Thurs I awoke (after 9 hrs of needed sleep) with no planned events for the day (Sandy was set for the evening). I thought of Carla from the day before. Thought of calling her, she gave me her ph # and e-mail, but decided to just cruise Cafe Orleans again. Arrived Cafe Orleans, spent 45 min admiring the scenery, incl Carla who was there giving me flirtatious smiles. Since Carla is exactly my type as far looks good go, sweet, was so much fun to be with and was a "known quantity" for me, I asked her to again spend the afternoon with me, to which she readily agreed. She asked if we could sunbathe on my apartment's roof when we arrived at my place. We went up, her bra and panties effectively doubled as a bikini, and spent an enjoyable time lounging with this gorgeous babe in the sun. After a while, we went back down to the apartment for intimacy. As we chatted, I asked Carla if she liked trios. "Por supuesto!" (Of course). Especially with chicas she does NOT know. Well, one indecent proposal later to Brenda, followed by an immediate indecent proposal to Sandy over the phone, I arranged a trio with Carla and Sandy for that evening.

Carla left to come back later. I elected to take a nap.

Sandy and Carla showed up punctually within 5 min of each other (7:00 PM) and immediately hit it off. Here I was drinking wine in my apartment with 2 BEAUTIFUL, sexy, charming, fun, lady-like babes showing growing lust for each other. An uninihibited threesome soon developed. COSTS. $2700 for chicas (6 different women), 6 TLNs and averaging 2 "sessions" per day for 7 days (while it was actually multiple dates). As I said, I don't negotiate, but I pick who I like. If I bargain, I don't get the GFE I want (which I always did in BA). Since I look for "long term," i.e., more than 2 hr quickie, it pays off in the long run.

$225 for apartment, maid cleaning.

$100 for transportation incl local taxis, airport transfer and having a local driver who gave me persoanlized attention on select occassions.

$450 for entertainment and meals (incl the dates with chicas).

$30 tips to apartment staff (they loved me for this "generosidad").

Basically, $3500 plus airfare for the entire trip. A splendid, erotic-filled week in a beautiful city with gorgeous and charming women while living as a king. To me, definitely worth the "investment."

GENERALIZATIONS OF BA CHICAS. Yes, these are worker's of the world's oldest profession. But the chicas I met (or rather sought out to meet), were nice women with a lot of passion, charm and CLASS. Money was certainly their motivator, but if they were treated like a lady, their performance was definitely enhanced.

Overall, the physical beauty of the women was astounding - there were babes everywhere. I would characterize most chicas (Chamila being the exception with pure German ethnic background) not as European, but as Mediterrean (Spanish, Italian, Greek features). All with feminine, flirtatious and sexy mannerisms. Their openness in sexuality was astounding - they truly seeking enjoyed sensual pleasures with men (and women). Absolute heaven!

LANGUAGE. I speak Spanish, so communication (at all levels) was not an issue for me. Every chica I met, I tested their English. Quite honestly, none had good English communication skills. They would comprehend a fair amount and could convey prices, hotel location and meeting times, but not much more. Any involved conversation for a non-Spanish speaking hombre, would be limited. Still, they are great companions and even with limited verbal communication, they are a lot of fun if you go out.

RECOMMENDED STRATEGIES. The above worked extremely well for me in BA (other locales may require different approaches). It suited my personality and desires, allowing me to utilize my biggest advantage -fluency in Spanish. For me, establishing a "connection" with a chica(s) ahead of time, definitely pays off if you're looking for a day or more of GFE.

Extra "Tricks" for hombres to enhance the relationship (in BA and anywhere else):

- Have a cigarette lighter handy (even if you don't smoke, which I don't). Women love the attention of having their cigarette lit (if they smoke). Do it all the time for them, it pays off. Also, you can approach a woman (pro and non-pro) that you don't know by offering her a light. This WORKS!! It's easy and free (except for the cost of the lighter).

- Palm Reading. Palmistry is totally BS, but women love it. Get a book on palm reading, learn some basics, then offer to read the palms of women (pro and non-pro) you meet. Women are fascinated by it. You can make stuff up as you go along (it's not like it's an exact science). Plus, it allows you to gently caress the chica's hand and arm (wonderful for setting the mood).

- Names. Repeat their names, especially if they confess their real name to you. Also, give your chica a pet name (cute, suggestive and affectionate), and use that. It makes your dollar go farther.

- Offer a Massage. Yes, you give to her!! With every woman I spent "intimate" time with in BA, our "first time" always began by me giving her a REAL massage for about 15-30 min. The chica will love the pampering, you get to touch her all over and allows you to develop intimacy in a more relaxed fashion. ALWAYS have a bottle of lotion in your night table's drawer. Think of the massages you've received that you've liked, then do the same to the chica. It pays real dividends, especially for GFEs.

- Small Gifts. I brought a small bottle of nice perfume for every chica I had a pre-arranged date with. Presenting it to her immediately when we first met, offering it as a token of new friendship (amistad nueva). The $30-50 you pay for perfume yields ten times the affection.

- Personal Appearance and Hygiene. This may sound basic, but freshly-brushed teeth, a recent (complete) shower, well-groomed hair and facial hair (or lack of) and clean breath does wonders for you the performance you receive and price you pay. Also, try to skip the jeans, t-shirt and sneakers look. Nice slacks, button down, full collar shirt and decent shoes enhances your appearance; sports coat is a nice extra. Sure you're putting money out because you don't look like the cover of GQ magazine, but some effort in your appearance (and manners) will help your money go farther.

- Music. These women all love to dance and to hear music. Having a sound system in your place can enhance the encounter for you, as music puts these women even "more in the mood." Bring some CDs if your place in BA will have a stereo. Thalia, Christina Aguillera, Gypsy Kings, Streisand, Britney, J Lo are all singers the chicas will like, and subsequently, enhance their performance.

- Personalize Yourself. I have some great pictures of unusual places I've traveled to. I showed them to each chica I met right at the beginning as a way of establishing rapport. They enjoyed it and it enhanced the relationship we further developed. Anything you can do to distinguish yourself (positively) is to your benefit.

- Respect. Treat the chicas as a lady (not as what they are) and they will treat you as a boyfriend (and not as what we all really are). Think about it...

SUMMARY. A splendid, erotic-filled week in a beautiful city with gorgeous and charming women while living as a king. Quite honestly, I was looking forward to get back home so that I could physically recuperate. But after a week home, I'm ready to go back to Argentina. To me, a trip to BA is definitely worth the "investment." Good luck!

You indeed sound like a gentleman. Great report. The only thing I think you should have did differently was pay in pesos. I don't find anything wrong with being generous or paying more than the "going rate". I do it many times. However, I do think it's better for the hobbyist to pay in the local currency.

Especially if you are fluent in spanish. Most of these girls have bad conversion skills anyway. Even if you don't like to "negotiate". Just tell them you don't have dollars. Case in point, most girls would ask for $100 US but if I told them I didn't have dollars they would ask for 200 or 250 pesos even though the exchange rate is 3.5 to 1. There is simply no good reason to pay in US dollars.

I recommend everyone that visits to immediately just go to a Casa de cambio (exchange house) and get pesos. I usually get like $700 US my first day and a few hundred each day converted. By paying in US Dollars right away you are asking to be charged more. Some guys have tons of money and it's not an issue but you clearly mentioned that money was an issue with you. Even those that are wealthy I'd urge to pay in pesos. (Would an Argentina citizen come here and pay our escorts with pesos? Ha, ha).

GFE's in BA are definitely easy to get. You may THINK you know what GFE is until you go to BA. I agree with everything else you said. Dressing well and looking good is something that is very important to me when I'm here in the USA or traveling abroad. It makes a difference and almost every single chica makes some comment to me. To me, it's not about scoring a better session but having the personal satisfaction of looking good.

Actually, if you're a gentleman...treat a girl like a girlfriend, are kind with her and give her attention than it is not necessary to pay huge sums of money to keep them with you. I've met several girls that have wanted to stay with me over night for no more money.. or even the next day. Right now that really isn't my thing. If I wanted a girlfriend I would just call one of the girls I know in my hometown. I go to BA for variety and no kind of committments whatsoever.

Also, keep in mind that the girls in BA can get attached as easy as we can. These girls are very jealous. Many times (as many of you can attest to) you'll see a girl one time and she will keep coming back to your hotel or calling your room looking for you. I've had it happen several times.

Follow Gentleman99's strategies. They are good. I use them too and they work. Also, remember to be careful with your hearts. Generally, if a girl makes you feel like you're the king of the world and you're the only one in her life than that means she is doing her job. Yeah, there is nothing romantic about hearing that but I'm a realist. This is a business to them. I talk to a lot of guys that get sucked up in "falling" for a girl only to have yet another guy telling me how he did lurid and nasty things with that same "novia" of another guy. (Sometimes the very same day!!!).

The last thing I will mention is that ALWAYS have good hygiene. I didn't want to mention this but I'm gonna. If I offend anyone so be it. Those of you that have met me or know me know that I'm a straight shooter. I don't bullsh*t and I tell it like it is. I met one of the hobbyist in BA this past trip. (I don't think he is on this board but he might be). Anyway, this dude smelled like B.O. (body odor), trash, and other vile and disgusting odors. He smelled like he didn't shower since he got in B.A. I sat down next to him one night and I thought I was going to vomit. I'm NOT exaggerating.

The funny thing is that since I got back like 5 or 6 people that I've been emailing with mentioned the same thing about this guy. I can't fathom the idea of a girl sleeping with this guy. I wouldn't have done it for a million dollars if I was a chica. I'm not going to embarrass this guy but I hope you are reading this and I hope you take corrective actions to fix your hygiene skills.

Common sense. Take a shower before and after every session. Take a shower when you wake up in the morning for christ's sake. Oh..and use soap. Wash your hair, brush your teeth. Do whatever it takes. (His breath was horrible too). He was a really nice guy but I hope my path does not cross with him again because the next time I'll tell him in person what a slob he was.

Great report. As someone who repeatedly defends the GFE over short time and the search for quality over price considerations, I was left somewhat dumbfounded. I was struck by two things; 1) for someone who is proudly fluent in Spanish you did not spend time hunting for chicas. Instead you shacked up with escort girls researched on the internet and paid in dollars. This was both more expensive and provided less insight into the city and its chicas; and 2) the validity of your tips for mongers is undermined by your price structure. It grates on my sensibilities to hear behavioral tips when someone is paying this much. You did not get the experience you had from a bottle of perfume or taking a shower. We agree on treating ourselves well, treating the girls well, the importance of hygiene, staying in nice places etc..yet you simply paid too much. Godfather is gently telling you that in pesos this could have been done for much less. Porker is not. According to a quick and rough estimate a few trips to the neighberhood boliches and the chica costs (same high quality, extended time etc..) would have dropped from $2,700 usd to approximately $1,000-$1,500.
So having judged you overpaid, I will concede, as always, it is your money and time to do as you wish. I am genuienly glad you enjoyed BA as it is a great place for finding exactly what you wanted. I just think other members of the board should be aware of how much you overpaid and the benefits of going directly to the boliches.

Nomar makes good points. Admittedly it's easy to "over pay" in Buenos Aires. Especially if it's your first time there. I think as long as you are paying what you perceive to be fair it's not a problem. Buenos Aires is so huge and spread out that it won't be much of a problem unless every single gringo starts doing the same thing.

I can't stress enough the importance of paying in Pesos. Girls will get used to receiving money in dollars and that will not be good for anyone. I know that the first trip one can become overwhelmed by all of BA's riches. Many guys are used to spending $300 US per hour on the same quality girls in the USA. They compare that $300 us an hour to down there. Guys....you can't do that. You gotta think about being in a different world and a different economic environment.

The girls just now seem to be starting to get over the 1:1 dream that they had for 10 years. It will NEVER go back to $1 us : 1 peso. Sure it could get a little better but it won't go back to that insane multiple.

Like I said..I have no problem what a dude does with his money if he has money to burn. All the power to you guys. Just overspend in pesos...ha, ha.

I do agree with Nomar about the being fluent thingy. I like to make comparisons so look at it like this. Being fluent in Buenos Aires should make you comparable to a Executive Platinum frequent flyer member on an airline. Yeah.. you're flying in the same plane as everyone else but you should get lots of perks. Know what I mean? I'm only conversational and my sessions are great. Anyone that is fluent should have smooth sailing all the way to their final destination.

Gentleman, I always said "great minds think alike", and here I'm referring to your taste in Sandy. I spend a lot of time with this gem of a woman a few weeks ago and I couldn't agree with you more. Had I not had some serious time constraints while I was in BA since I went there primarily for business, I wouldn't have let the adorable Peruana leave my side. But as some of the other board members have pointed out, you could have paid in pesos and only pesos and saved a ton of money. The time I spent with Sandy easily was well over 40 hours with her boiled down to about $40P per hour since we had such inredible "chemistry" and was she was charging me a fraction of what she'd normally charge since she enjoyed my lovemaking so much (big grin).

Godfather, you're so right about not letting yourself get emotionally involved with the chicas but when I have a GFE like I had with Sandy I have a hard time not getting involved. My sole concern is that others on the board do not feel they have to pay so much for the same thing. What you went after is a dream, and a good one. Congratulations for finding it. Pretty simple really...chicas will charge what chicas can charge....and once a chica establishes that one gringo will pay an inflated price for her services...she will charge the same or more to the next gringo ( discounts to novio-studs such as DownBA are the exception ).

Paying a little more for elite chicas is expected...but to waaay overpay serves to make it more difficult for all the gringos who follow....

I am more and more reluctant to post about undiscovered or underutilized places simply because once the gringos move in, the price goes up.

Ezy is absolutely right. Moondog about this time is probably regretting telling me about Sandy..ha, ha. Before I posted on her I don't think she was as busy. I personally know probably about 15 guys that saw her based on my post back in September (Sorry DownBA...).

There are exceptions to the rule but like I said, generally if a girl makes you feel like you are the only one in her life then she is pretty much doing her job. No matter what anyone thinks it's hard for a girl to change her profession. I get all kinds of girls that make me feel like a King. I even have one or two girls that regularly tell me "te amo" (i love you) and call me on an almost daily basis. I keep it all in perspective.

I'll probably be like Ezy now and not post specific names and not post pictures of all of them. Ezy is 100% correct as always. "Chica economics" will always be in place. Whether you realize it or not, a chica sizes you up the moment you utter your first words on the phone, the moment you step into a club, and the moment you solicit her for sex. If you think otherwise you're SADLY mistaken.

I always try to look like a million bucks. I dress nice, am well groomed and usually have on a nice watch. But you know what? It doesn't matter. A girl will usually ask for a pie in the sky number after she "sizes me up". Then I respond accordingly. I used to not really negotiate and only be able to say silly things like "no soy un rico hombre" (I'm not a rich man). That is when my spanish sucked.

Now I'll throw in things like telling her that it's late and not many guys in the place, I'm tired, I'm just looking or maybe later. They have ALWAYS come down in price. Case in point...that one night the girl in Black's wanted $200 US for 2-3 hours. I just laughed and told her it was 4 AM and I was tired and that there were about 20 girls in the club and about 10 guys. Then I will usually find the hottest girl in the club, point to her and ask if she knows her name. At this point the girl will usually just laugh and tell me that I'm the spanish equivolent of a 'naughty boy'. (which is true).

I'm never in any way had a diminished session but reducing the price. The great thing is that most of the regular readers that go to a given destination usually all think alike and agree with one another.

This is my first post since my Thanksgiving trip, because I had no real "new" information to contribute, or so I thought. I am in total agreement with "chica economics". I have paid 100 pesos per hour for all internet chicas I have been with the last two trips, and tip well for exceptional sessions. I had 11 different girls during my last 4 day trip, and believe it or not, the majority of my time was spent with just 3 of them. I spent 18 hours Sunday with a beautiful, intelligent grad student, who would not accept any money (I slipped 500p in her purse as a gift, and I'm sure I will catch hell the next trip) because she said it was a date, and she does not work Sundays. I fit the rest of the girls in, within an hour after putting my regulars in a taxi. However, on Monday, I walked into the Orleans Cafe, where I have had success before, and greeted a few fellow mongers and the waiter who knows me well by now. I spotted a 30 something raven haired beauty by the door who is older than I prefer, but I was short on time, so I tried to make a deal for an hour of oral, as that was all the time I had before leaving to catch my flight. She spoke fluent English, and this girl launches into a lesson on how the peso and dollar used to be 1 to 1(as if I am not aware of the exchange rate on an hourly basis), and that is why she asked for $250 US FOR 1 HOUR OF ORAL! I laughed, thinking she was surely joking, and patiently explained in castellano, that I am not a fool, and that I pay 100p per hour for younger more beautiful girls, and she replied that she was not that kind of girl. Of course she then tried to come down to 100 US for 40 minutes, but as I blew her off, I commented that if she is not that kind of girl, perhaps she is in the wrong business. A few minutes later, a little girl came in selling flowers, and I bought some for a 22 year old blonde (much prettier than the first girl), and made a deal for an hour for 150p, which included oral and other positions because she was so good. I just smiled at the brunette as we left. I am sure that the next gringo she meets will benefit from this exchange. If she has a choice of making what is reasonable and fair, or nothing at all, most girls will be reasonable.

My first night, I had already had three girls, and was in Affaire just for the drinks with a friend who has an apartment near there and was looking for his evening's entertainment. The doorman remembered me from last trip, and after the obligatory kisses on the cheek, and warm handshakes, he escorts us inside where our first rounds were on the house, and he waved the entrance fee(kisses on the cheeks from the redhead at the door also). Understand I was not looking for a girl, I had not slept in 48 hours, and I was completely spent. While my friend is cozying up to one of his favorites, this little Columbian starts really working it for me. I swear to God I can not remember her name, but she was rubbing every part of her body on me, was not exceptionally pretty, but was really trying hard. She initially asked for 250p, promising anal which I didn't even ask about. I just shook my head and said no thanks, I was too tired. To make a long story shorter, she ended up back at my hotel for an agreed upon 100p, and she stayed for three hours of everything you can imagine, because it was so difficult for me to finish. I tossed in a taxi tip, but my point is, that I could have said why not to the 250p, and not had any better a session, and certainly not have done any favors for the next gringo she meets.

Have a good time, and pay what is fair, but by all means do not believe that throwing money at these girls makes your dick grow longer, or makes them think any more of you. Be generous, but if you feel a need to give away money, there are people starving in Argentina who could eat for a long time on what some gringos overpay, just pick up the Clarin any day and read about it

G99: How can a monger on a budget afford a trip to Argentina? It seems board members rave about Argentina. Is it that expensive?

You can do Buenos Aires on a limited budget if you're not too picky with your hotel/apartment and don't see the expensive girls. (Also, if you don't see 2-4 girls a day like some of us).

Generally the most expensive thing is gonna be your airfare. Right now they are sky high. Depends where you fly out from but expect to pay anywhere from $500 - $1000 US for your airfare.

There are cheaper hotels scattered around the city but I don't like staying in a rat trap. I have heard of rooms being as low as 50 pesos a night ($14 US), although I don't know where and how nice they are and never plan on finding out.

The clubs can get expensive with the drinks anywhere between 10 pesos - 40 pesos a drink depending on where you go. Dinner's are cheaper but still..eating out at fancy places every day or 2-3 times a day can add up.

Most of the guys I know drop a minimum of $2,000 for a one week trip including airfare and hotel. Many drop a lot more than that. I just dropped $2200 in Buenos Aires in 4 days two weeks ago. It definitely can get expensive.

Go to the main Argentina section. There is a good price list of things that Ezy and a few other guys posted.

If you want to do it cheap do this:

Airfare: Try to use frequent flyer miles if you have them. If not, find internet deals or go to sites like www.priceline.com, www.hotwire.com, www.orbitz.com, www.carbone-travel.com. Don't expect to find a deal until the holidays are over.

Hotel: Rent an apartment or stay at a cheap hotel.

Food: Stick to the tons of great restaurants that are cheap. Everything is relative. Cheap to one guy is expensive to another. Just look at the menus that are in most windows of places or ask to see one before sitting down.

Girls: I guess you could always use the Clarin if you're a gambler. Some guys talked about some 40 peso girls which I can't even fathom. I only use the well established websites and the club girls when I get their phone numbers. (My palm pilot is full..ha, ha).

Go to places like Cafe Orleans which seems to be cheaper but I've found the quality never up to my standards.

Buenos Aires is definitely not the cheapest place to go to when you factor in the airfare but it is cheap compared to pre-devaluation. I would not be going down like I am if the peso didn't crash. (Hmm...maybe I would...ha, ha. I truly love that city).

Definitely go if you can. NOW is probably the best time in history to go to Buenos Aires. It won't get much cheaper.

It was definitely my priviledge to meet you in BA, and our meeting was long overdue. As always, your posts are filled with good advice. Those new to this forum, or to BA in general would be wise to consider your posts when planning a trip to my favorite city in the world.

You said it to Moondog, let me say it to you, you are truly a class act. Like mi abuelo used to say, you can tell alot about a man by the way his friends talk about him, and even more by what his acquaintances have to say. Based on what everyone (including the chicas)I have met that knows you has to say, I am honored to consider you a friend.

Cuba will be a great time I am sure, and definitely count me in on efforts to help the disadvantaged in Argentina. UW and I had a brief discussion about performing some volunteer services, and he has some excellent ideas, we should seriously talk about it in Havanna. I plan to donate some of my time to the local hospitals, when my career and location change is complete. After all, a man can not chase tail 24/7 can he? I know, I know, it's fun to try, but at my age, I need a break from time to time.

What guys don't realize sometimes is that if you're a jerk it will quickly be known. The world is a small place. Guys like Moondog, Ezy, UWPhoto, Kick Stand, et. al are universally known to be quality gentlemen beyond reproach. I am happy to say I can add you to that list of quality class acts.

I have met very few jerks down in Buenos Aires. Something about that city brings the best and classiest hobbyist. I'm looking forward to doing Cuba with you and I KNOW I'll see you in Buenos Aires again.

Yes, UWPhoto and I have talked for months and months about doing something for the unfortunate citizens of Argentina. A little bit can go a long way in Buenos Aires. I'd welcome the help. I'm serious about starting a Foundation in Buenos Aires that will feed the poor. I rarely fail at something I put my mind to so I'm sure it will be a huge success. I'll draw upon the generosity of the many restaurants in BA, hobbyists that I know and don't know and the hundreds of business contacts I have.

Sbronx77, BA is cheap. By any international measure-food, lodging, clothing, transportation, - all of it has plummeted with the peso devaluation. The expense is getting there as Godfather notes. Hence do your research. Your hotels can be kept at around $50/day, your chicas at $40-60/event, your entertainment and food expenses 1/3-1/2 of comparable prices in a US city. The reason so many enjoy BA is not only that it is cheap, but unlike so many destinations, the quality is high. The report by gentlemn99 was misleading on price. His costs could probably be halved without a significant diminuition in service or fun.

airfare. Check out Carbone-travel.com for some of the lowest fares available, and with airmiles! For example, round trip tix can be had for $400 from MIA or NY, $450 from Dallas or Atl, $475 from LA. Add taxes of about $70-80 to these prices

Lodging. Check out Godfather's new apartment for rent at $45 per night or stay at a medium quality hotel such as the Dazzler for $30 per night, including tax.

Food. $3.71 for a bottle of Extra Brut Chandon Champage. Dinner for two at Bisteca, a restaurant in Puerto Madero $20 including tip. Almuerzo $2.80 in Recoleta..etc....You can spend more or less, depending....but Nomar is right, one-third to one-half the price of the U.S.

chicas. spend as little as $7.25 for a Clarin girl....or $30 for an hour with an average girl from Platynum...or $60-75 for a longer session with a club girl...etc...

Much less can be spent. I spent 14 nights in three and four star hotels, got airfare to Rio, Sao Paulo, Porto Alegre, back to Rio then back to US. I paid taxis, buses, for 15 days, had 13 romps in la cama with very hot garotas (I tend to settle quickly on a price), two TLN's, food, about $300 USD in souvenirs, got ripped off by a garota with that peso to dollar switch, had a handgliding flight, bought about $100 USD in clothing, entrance fees to clubs and termas, all for $3,000 USD total. I know the exact amount because I took atm money on all monies spent, and CC for hotels and flights. I will admit, I'm not much of a food conniseur though.

It sounds like you did really well, I recently did 9 days in BA and Iguazu. Spent about $2400 US total, but no Rio/Sao Paulo. Where did you find the inexpensive fares to Brazil? Any recommendations on a 4 week Bs. As./Rio/Cartagena/Sao Paolo trip?

It would have been cheaper if I hadn't done SP(3x Rio prices).
First of all, I wouldn't do SP, the women are slighly better than BA but not worth the cost. I haven't been to Cartagena. I don't know if you've been to Rio but there's tons of info on the board.
Mr. Bill gave me the heads up on the AA special, he's always keeping tabs on SA flights (He's waiting until they go down to $10 RT before heading to the promised land.
One strong recommendation would be Porto Alegre.
