It’s been exactly a year since my last trip, so I decided to treat my Brother and myself to a trip using leftover AA miles. My last mongering adventure was last Xmas in Thailand, so I was certainly ready for a break. My Brother has never been to SA so I was looking forward to showing him the allure of the Medellin girls. He was as amazed as I expected. We live far apart, but were able to meet up in Miami and catch the flight together to MDE. I had contracted Alvarro to pick us up, and he was there waiting for us to take us to the Mansion. For some reason he is one of the many people that are persona non grata at the Mansion. There may be a good reason for it, but he was always fair and reliable with us. I got his name from here at CH, and he was a good and enthusiastic guide, and speaks English very well.

The next 2 days were spent showing my Brother around Medellin. We did the usual tourist things as well as visit Calle 53 and Mayorista, although we didn’t see much that interested us. We did a Casa tour with the guide from El Castillo ( not sure I should mention his name), but saw only 1 girl that really did it for me. Another of my fellow Mansionites was also interested in her, so when I found out she wouldn’t allow photos, I decided to let him enjoy her. I would love to have gotten some pics of her; she was really something to see.

Although we didn’t see much at the Casa’s or downtown, the Mansion was a different story. Even with the cutting back of chicas allowed into the Mansion, there were still plenty of beauties to ravish. I gather there has been some pressure from neighbors, and the authorities want the Mansion to stake a lower profile. Guests can still invite girls over, but the Mansion has cut back on the girls hanging around, and the Mansion sponsored Sunday Barbeques are over.

Fortunately, we had a few great guys that organized our own Sunday party. It ended up being a great success, although not nearly as wild as past parties that I remember. That was OK with my Brother and I. As long as there were new sexy girls to mingle with and get numbers for future reference, we were happy. Here’s a few for your viewing pleasure.

I finally got to meet Sandman. We have conversed over CH for a few years, and had come within 5 minutes of meeting in person a couple of times; it never worked out. He tried to arrange an overnite party with CH members and local chicas on a houseboat at El Penol, but politics got in the way. Only Sandman’s girl showed up. We think the rest were pressured by the Mansion not to go with us. No way to be sure of course, but maybe Sandman can shed some light on that topic. It was pretty disappointing, although we made the best of it by going up to Santa Fe De Antioquia. The drive up there was nice, but it hardly compares with a Sandman Festa. We did get to meet up with some later though.

One of the things I love about our hobby is mixing my two passions; beautiful women, and photography. So I can’t believe it never occurred to me before to bring lingerie. I corrected that this time, and brought about 10 outfits which I gave away at the end of the trip. I’m not interested in shooting porn (much to the disappointment of some members I’m sure), and I have no problem shooting Porn in Thailand;) , but for the most part I’d rather capture the personality and facial beauty of these women. I always bring a printer so I can make prints for the girls, and it makes them a lot more excited about posing.

Even though I only spent 5 days here this time; it was my most enjoyable trip to Colombia. Having my brother along really made it great fun. There were also a bunch of great guys there at the same time which always helps. I was surprised at how many I knew from previous trips.

For those who do not know or remember, a couple of years ago I saw an Av8tr picture post and I asked Av8tr how he got such great photo results. He was gracious enough to share his flash bounce technique and type of SLR camera usage with me. So I purchased similar equipment and my results speak for themselves.

Since then, I too have been asked many times how I take my pictures. I have always advised of the SLR & flash bounce technique, however, I have yet to see anyone else take advantage of the simplicity of the flash bounce technique.

The quality of many outdoor pictures of women posted on this site are excellent but the inside pictures are often discredited by poor or harsh lighting. It's a shame because it has also discredited the true beauty of so many great looking women.

So to Av8tr I tip my hat for again sharing his awesome photo work and again thank him for sharing his knowledge of photography with myself and others. I only wish others would follow in our footpaths.

Cubanut, what is the flash bounce technique?

Mangaman,

Quite simply it is the use of a digital SLR camera Nikon, Canon, Olympus, etc..) that have a hot shoe. The hot shoe allows a separate flash unit to be mounted and used in place of the built in flash.

The mounted flash should be one that is designed for use with that particular camera for best results and be able to "pivot" in a way that whenever you aim the lens at your subject, the flash is pointing toward a ceiling or wall to "bounce" the flash off of instead of a direct straight forward flash burst.

The result is softer tones and more natural true skin color as well as masking minor defects of the flesh. It just makes for better pictures.

A second thing to consider is composition and eliminating background clutter and use of close ups instead of far away frames.

A bit of practice and taking SEVERAL shots of the subject in various poses and states of dress or undress is also very useful. As for myself, for every great shot I choose to post, there are about a dozen I don't because they don't meet my scrutiny.

You mentioned a distinction between shooting porn in Thailand vs Colombia...any diplomatic elaboration would be great? Great photos once again........

For anyone who is going to try the bounce flash technique, remember that it only works in rooms with light-colored walls and ceilings. If the room you are in doesn't have that (dark wood paneling is especially bad), then bounce isn't going to be effective.

For those situations where dark ceilings or walls exist, one can use a diffuser attachment to the flash unit. It allows a less harsh flash burst. Also a mirror bounce can give nice effects.

If you do find yourself in a dark paneled room, in a pinch you could tack up a white sheet to a wall or even to the ceiling if low enough to reach with a chair or table to bounce the light off.
