By Blazers on Tuesday, December 10, 2002 - 08:34 pm:  Edit

After a long flight filled with hours of turbulence, I arrived in Bangkok at about 11:20. I checked in at Boss Tower. Boss Tower is an apartment that can be rented monthly for about 11,000 for the month. I took the small suite for 850 baht a night. The place has very hot girls working at the desk, has a travel agency, internet cafe, small gym (not that great), and nice pool. The rooms are great and have a great view of the city with a balcony. You will never have problems with girls as it is a serviced apartment. The place is located on Rama IV and is not that far from the action. It is a great place to stay if you are with a girl for a while and are not going back and forth to the go go bars.

I arrived in Soi Cowboy at about 1:30 and went straight to Long Gun to look for the girl I was with last time. In my last report I took pictures of her and her sister and did a threesome with them (no lesbian action). She was dancing up top and the place was closing up. I barfined her and took off. She is about 4'10" and 80 lbs. The place requires her to leave her ID for safety purposes, although I usually remind the staff because they forget.

Photo: Soi Cowboy

Once upstairs, she started hugging me and telling me how she thought that I would never remember her...yeah yeah. We watched some tv and then started getting into some DFK. I reached under her pants and started rubbing the outside of her cotton undies...like a school girl. I could feel her wet through her panties, so I started fingering her and she went nuts. After a while, she took of her pants and took a shower. After I showered, I went to the bed and was happy to see her naked under the covers. Onc under the covers, her body felt hot and she started rubbing her pussy on my left. While kissing, I turned her on her back and she was so wet that my dick slid right in without a condom. She winced a little but it felt so good that I just kept going. I think the jetlag was going to my brain. I rarely have bareback sex and realized that I was not going to last long....man it felt good. To prolong the sex, I decided to get a Durex and go for a little while longer before finishing. Two hours later she gave me a nice BBBJTC and we fell asleep. At about 6am, she woke me up and I paid her 1500 baht and she was off. of course she wanted me to visit her the next night and I made up some story about going to Singapore for business. I realize that bareback sex is stupid and ignorant but sometimes it just happens.

Blazers,

You're right...sometimes in the heat of the moment it's hard to resist.

I would get a bit concerned because I wonder if the same girl is going bareback with other guys too.

Have always enjoyed your reporting...Keep up the great effort.

Always remember these are WHORES don't forget this NEVER they FUCK for a living with 1,000's of guys from around the world each and every year from a early age AND SOME OF THESE GUYS KNOW THAT THEY ARE CARRY HIV OR HAVE AIDS!!!!!!

I am willing to bet we still have some sailors that are still over there because they went bareback and have (GREEN SHIT) that is coming from their dicks AND they are the lucky ones, that still have a dick or even have their life.

These guys will learn, the hard way of course.

Especially Thailand, what is the ratio? I remember in 2000 in was little over 50% of working girls had HIV. I think that country has the highest as far as percentage wise, not population

First, everyone on this board is an adult and makes their own informed decisions and have to live (or die) with them. I always use a condom unless I'm in a committed relationship (and bareback sex doesn't start until about two months into the relationship).
Second, there is no way 50& of the working girls in Thailand are HIV positive. No way, no how. And highest percentage? There are at least 10 African countries that vie for that title. Where did you get that data from? Bottom line for me though, is I don't care if its 1%, I'm puttin' on the umbrella.

By Ceenotes on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 - 11:37 pm:  Edit

I am referring the data to the whores,
But as far as the highest, your right it's Africa.

Philippines is climbing the charts in asia.

Your 50% data is preposterous and inaccurate. There has been no empirical data on this issue in the last 22 years. In general, the current AIDS figures are comprable to that of the USA...you looking at stats from 15 years ago. Doesn't excuse what I did.

By Innocent on Thursday, December 12, 2002 - 01:09 pm:  Edit

Blazers,

My heart ges out to you. When I think about some of the bareback stunts I've pulled over the years
(some not all that long ago) I scare the shit out of my self.

It does allways seem like a good idea when it's in there though.

Fortunately we haven't "drawn the card."

Via con Dios my friend

The statistics get skewed because they include all the 40 baht brothels used by the Thai peons.

By Dickjohnson on Friday, December 13, 2002 - 03:29 pm:  Edit

Ceenotes, no way in hell over 50% of Thai working girls have AIDS or HIV+. You're losing credibility with me pal:)

By Ceenotes on Friday, December 13, 2002 - 07:30 pm:  Edit

Hey,

I hope the stats are wrong
maybe it's just propaganda from the states, to convince us not to go and increase the sex trade (yeah right)
maybe the stats came from one brothel instead of the entire city.

Look at the shit I hear about Brazil, I still make it my #1 destination.

BTW I did hear from friend who actually been there that Cuba has the lowest aids rate in the sex trade.
something like, castro puts all the HIV/AIDS carriers in one remote camp and must stay there until death.
it was hard that they cant leave the island now it's the retreat within the island.
(really fucked up)

I have a cousin who was in the Navy. When he found out through another relative that I was going to Thailand he called me in an almost hysterical panic.

"Make sure you don't visit any prostitutes! Every one of them has AIDS," he exclaimed!

Whatever the Navy told him about Thai prostitutes sure took hold though. He seemed very concerned and was using what he had been told in the Navy from which to draw his information and concern.

I've done a little quick research on the net and rate of AIDS in Thai prostitutes varies. I've seen anywhere from 5%-65%. The only problem with all of these studies, and the studies themselves even talk about this, is that in each case the sampling rate is rather low.

One study said free lance prostitutes that work out of malls, etc, looking for boyfriends to buy them lots of gifts and presents will have a higher rate of AIDS because they are more likely to have unprotected sex.

Thailand has conducted a major education campaign about AIDS, sex, and condom usage during that last 10-15 years. Condom usage went from being nearly non-existant among prostitutes to almost standard which has seriously cut into the spread of the disease there.

Does it still exist? Sure. 2.15% of the total population has it and that rate is probably higher among sex workers.

Compare that rate to US 0.61%, the UK 0.11%, Uganda 6.1%, Tanzania 8.09% South Africa 19.94%, Rwanda 11.21%, Namibia, 19.54%, Lesotho, 23.54%, Afghanistan less that 0.01%, Australia 0.15%, France 0.44%, Germany 0.1%, Canada 0.3%, Cambodia 4.04%, Italy 0.35%, Panama 1.54%, Brazil 0.57%, Costa Rica 0.54%, Cuba 0.03%, Peru 0.35%, Argentina 0.69% and Honduras 1.92% from some prespective.

http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/fields/2155.html

Here are soem excerpts I have found from various soruces:

"However, new infections each year in Thailand had dropped to 20,000 in 2000 from 143,000 in 1991, while in Cambodia, new infections among sex workers under 20 had fallen to 23 percent last year from more than 40 percent in 1998."

"Both Thailand and Cambodia managed to turn the tide of rising HIV by focusing on the main driving force of the epidemic — commercial sex workers and their clients," the WHO said."

"Thailand's 100 percent condom use programme directed at sex workers and their clients prevented millions of HIV infections in the 1990s, it said."

"Even so, 50,000 Thais were expected to die from AIDS every year up to 2006 and a similar number would develop their first serious AIDS-related illnesses each year."

"by August of 1990, 56% of the total population of prostitutes were diagnosed as HIV positive."

But again, that was from 1990. So I guess that is where that number comes from. That is around the time my cousin was in the Navy. I have been unable to find new numbers about the percentage of Thai prostitutes with AIDS.

Dave's page has some other numbers. 13% of sex workers in 1994 was reduced to 7% in 1997. Can we assume a further decrease in 2002? I dunno.

Blazers,

On a personal note. I hope you can resist further temptation for BB Sex. We'd like to keep you among the living for a while longer. My personal count has you at 3 BB encounters in Thailand. Are there more?

Best of luck to you.

Thanks Xenono,

"by August of 1990, 56% of the total population of prostitutes were diagnosed as HIV positive."

So I was 12 years behind. I knew I heard something in the 50% range some time ago.

Ceenotes, don't waste your time with the data on these guys, some of these guys will set at their laptops and find all kinds of data to prove you wrong.

BUT, THE BOTTOM LINE is NOT to go bareback WHY?? take a chance if it only 10% or 99.9% any rate is to HIGH for me to go bareback with a whore that fuck up to a 1,000 or more guys in a year!! HOW MANY OF THEM HAVE HIV OR AIDS?? maybe 10% ok why take a chance forget the data guys let's get real here.

Do what you want we all are grown mens here, I was in the Navy for over 15 years and been around the world and even back in the late 80's we had some dumb ass sailors that was eating pussy and kissing whores and giving them extra $$$ to FUCK them without a rubber even after we handed out reports on the HIV and AIDS issues back then a lot of sailors and I am sure others thought it was just a Gay issues until Magic Johnson spoke out on his HIV.

I know I write a lot of wild shit at times on here but, this is no bullshitting around here guys or anything to play around with or looking up or trying to find data to prove someone wrong, JUST put the damn rubber on ALL THE TIME EVERYTIME!!

Hombres:

Ditto to what KC wrote. Another point to consider is that AIDS/HIV is by far not the only nasty that you can catch. Syphillis, Chalmydia, Gohhorrea haven't gone away, not to mention good ol' warts, yeast, and interesting rashes. You want to know pain? Try pissing burning razor blades for a few days, that's what it feels like, no fun. And there's nothing like failing a short-arm inspection....

Suffice to say, keep it covered!

The last I had read on the matter, HIV rates among working girls in Bangkok were much lower than rates in other places of the country, due to years of succesful education campaigns in the capital. Rates were also lower among the girls who worked the farang scene as opposed to those who worked the Thai scene. I guess farangs are less likely to insist on bareback sex.

Of course there is still a danger however. Just that rates are much lower than they were 12 years ago.

By Blazers on Saturday, December 21, 2002 - 03:58 pm:  Edit

A recent test which was published recently in the Bangkok post has Thai males HIV rate 4 times higher than that of females in Thailand..that should tell you something right there.

"by August of 1990, 56% of the total population of prostitutes were diagnosed as HIV positive."

This figure can't be correct.

From page 110 in the Lonely Planet guide to Thailand, "... as of June 1994, WHO estimated there were approx. 500,000 HIV+ cases in Thailand out of a total population of 56,000,000." That works out to: 9 people in a thousand.

"The percentage of HIV+ prostitutes is much higher in rural areas than in Bangkok..."

"Northern Thailand accounts for 75% of all infections reported."

"Of the 210,000 full-time sex workers in the country, the vast majority are patronised by Thai customers, and since Thai males visit prostitutes an average of twice a month the virus is now finding its way to their wives and girlfriends."

"Thailand has a lower per-capita HIV infection rate than Australia, Switzerland or the USA."

In a book I read by Mac Horn, it mentioned a HIV study done of Patpong prostitues in Bangkok, the results were, best to my memory, 97.5% were negative.

By Socrates69 on Saturday, November 01, 2003 - 05:24 am:  Edit

Bingo, your numbers are wrong because those stats are for the population of prostitutes, not of the general public. Also, dexter horn is going to write a biased opinion on the matter since he runs a monger tourist company.

Anyhow, I just read some shocking stuff at Borders recently. So I'm at borders, reseaching Thailand. The thick highly visible tourist book that I pick out has this section in it called HIV alert (I'll get the author and title this week). I immediately turn to that section and here are some unbelievable tidbits:

1) at 98', 1 mil hiv+ in thailand.

2) WHO estimates +2mil at 2005

3) 99' highest HIV infection rate of any country in the world (not the case now, maybe in 3rd or 4th place post influence of sex ed). Stats are alarming with 50% of all female sex workers infected and 10% male infected. In the northwest area, the number sky rocket to %75 of all female prostitues and 15-20% male infected.

4) ***Here's the kicker*** The most common mode of transmission was found to be heterosexual intercourse, not greek, not drugs.

Heterosexual? Why? There are different types of HIV in Thailand vs. U.S. A physician hobbyiest friend answered with this: There are recent reports of the rapid spread of the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 circulating recombinant form 01AE throughout Asia. The CRF form emerged from heterosexual transmission while the typical form was introduced by homosexual transmission. A change in the V3 region of the virus genetic sequence changes the potential for altered immune surveillance (resistance) of the virus.
