First Five Days in Subic

The Van ride to Subic was pretty lovely once getting to the highway. Sat in the front seat next the driver with Marilyn for a good view. The hills are pretty. My fare was included with my booking at Arizona and Marilyn set me back 400p. Total time took about an hour and fifteen minutes.

Arizona is located on the far eastern end on National Highway. The two thirds of a mile strip between Arizona and the turn off to Baloy Beach contains most of the bars of interest. It is a pretty good location with a jeepney stop right out front and a trike staging area across the street. I really only used to jeepney to get to the city of Olongopo using trikes when I did not feel like walking. Trike fare point to point along National Highway ran 20p and from Arizona down to Baloy Beach 30-40p.

For facilities, Arizona is just fine. The resturant / bar is called Mai Tai and does do 24 hour room service. Main bar is outside under cover with some seating indoors. Noon to five is happy hour with 25p Sam Miguel beer. Always someone hanging at the bar staffed by 18 to 22 year old girls. Food is reasonable and decent. They get a number of non guest locals stopping into eat. The beach in front of the place is OK. Sand is coarse, but relatively litter free throughout the area. There is also a pool table for free play on the upper veranda. The front desk can arrange day trips and travel. Free use computer in the lobby and guys I talked to have no issues with the WiFi throughout.

Arizona rooms are mediocre. I failed to get pics of empty rooms, but little pieces show in many photos. Website pics are typical. The deluxe is a bit bigger than the standards, but really not worth the cash for the empty space. Matteresses are frim and all have big wall mirrors. Basic digital safe. Large sized armoire, small table, and two chairs. TVs were fine with 70 plus channels of cable. I found myself mostly on FashionTV for ambience sake.

Score! Bar onsite is allright. I spent little time in it myself. Website does make it appear to be much larger than it is. Lineup looks to be around 20 girls. Happyhour is five to eight and that seems to be when they get a big crowd. No stage with a pool table being the center piece and the girls milling about.


Back to the story.....

After checking in, Marilyn and I go another round and have a light dinner at the MaiTai bar. First barhop commences at Scores. It was too crowded at 6:30 for more than one drink and we start down the highway. For references sake, the National Highway area is called Barrio Barretto. Niether of us knowing the area, we just start wandering and go into the first nice looking place we see, Bar Barretto.

Bar Barretto is just three or four months old with Tommo of Blue Rock being the primary owner. Jim is the pappasan and a hell of a nice guy. The bar is well put together with lots of disco lighting, pool table, dance floor, nice stools, and a great CR (restroom). Girls dance mostly on bartops which is a bit odd. Uniform choice is dreadful however. Makes thin girls look chubby. As I would find throughout my exploring, the uniforms are pretty conservative to appease the authorities with t-backs not allowed.

At Bar Barretto a thing with Marilyn and I starts. She picks a girl, I buy a lady drink and we chat. Marilyn has good tastes and this gets me lots of relaxing interview and reputation. DonnaLyn would garner a drink on every stop in until I leave. Never barfined her though. Marilyn tosses in rule that the girl owes me a kiss and grope. Unfortunately, no doubles with Marilyn. At her drunkest and rowdiest, she would get cozy and give a girl a peck, but nothing beyond that. We meet our first ex-pat bar hopping buddy Tim and he suggests heading to WetSpot

WetSpot has the largest lineup in the area. It is owned by Dave of Kokomo's fame along with Lollipop Bar and Treasure Island resort in Subic. Pappasan is Brett who is a truly awesome guy that greets and gives out drinks to good customers. Happy hour is noon to five with buy one get one on all drinks. At five Happy Hour moves to Lollipop with the same deal until eight. WetSpot has a decent sized stage and a pool room in the back. Uniforms are tube tops and short skirts. Appetizers are cheap and provided from Dryden's down the street. In the 120p - 140p range you get big sized servings of eggrolls, jalepeno poppers, and chicken fingers. Pizza is also available. Girls are very friendly and there is no pressure for the 140p lady drinks. Lady Drinks here, as everywhere else easily take 20-40 minutes to consume. Barfine is 1400p.

This first night we meet cute and very shy cherry girl NoriAnn. Very innocent girl. On a later visit, we add her bedmate RenaLyn another cherry girl, but a bit wilder.

Completing the first night, we hit Club One and Lollipop. Both decent bars. Club One is a good sized open bar with active stage girls. Lollipop is a bit of a crowded dive with too much seating.

The next day is a late sleep in and barhopping. Hotel has filled with young Navy guys from a supply ship. Marilyn shifts into full party girl mode and starts dancing everywhere we go. This night we meet Steve, another local ex-pat who I will barhop with daily. He has been living in Subic a year after three years in AC. Barfines rarely due to a hottie girlfriend. To end the evening barhop, Marilyn and I go to karoke at Ajiha. It is a local pinoy hangout and a dump. Part of Marilyn's background story does become more plausible in that she says she working as a singer for a year and a half with a group in Thailand.

Wednesday brings a spa day. Danish Spa is the place and I get a facial while Marilyn gets a manicure and hair rebonding. Her stuff takes four hours giving me time to run solo in the afternoon. Wandering about is peaceful. Nearly no beggars and the ones that are are kids that do not pester much. Streets are pretty clean.

I begin thinking about canceling the return to AC and start looking at other hotels. Occupancy is low and most places quote 10-20% off posted rates. The best for me I saw was Palm Tree on National Highway. Great looking rooms along with a pool. Runs around 1900p. The Baloy Beach hotels were just a little to far to the main bar area and a majority of the guests seemed to be non-monger types.

Found Pirates Pub next to Bar Barreto / Honky Tonk. It is a hangout bar with girls opening at noon. Beer is 40p and LD is 80p. No barfine, but they close at 9pm and girls are free to do as they please after work. Many cuties. Jim the pappasan of Bar Baretto owns the place.

There are several internet cafes. I used OZ's a couple times which was big and roomy and had good brewed coffee.

Things just keep flowing along adding Dave to the barhop crew. Dave is a middle aged guy from LA with a pinay wife that is visiting family in the province with he is on a 'diving trip' for a few days on his own. Dave has never read a message board like this and it is very apparent. We take him his first bar, WetSpot at 1pm. Dave is already half in the bag with double tequilas from the morning at the hotel. Wanting to spread the tequila love, he starts pouring the swill down a half dozens girls throats. The bar was very slow early afternoon and Marilyn takes me into the CR for a quicky. This would become a new theme and a couple other bar CRs were befouled. Crudely and loudly, Dave settles on and interviews two girls for his choice of room activities. Somewhere during this time the tequila revolts and the house boy brings out a mop. Somehow he remains conscious enough to barfine two, hand me a wad of pesos to pay his tab, and be helped into a trike with two girls on his lap. Dave was not seen again until the next day.

Friday comes around and this was to be my last night in Subic before returning to AC. I decide to stay and Arizona offers me a good rate to stay which includes a move for a standard to a deluxe room. Marilyn is cool with it, but disappointed. Things with her really did workout well. We had a ridiculous amount of fantastic, acrobatic, and sweaty boom boom and GFE without crossing into emotional issues.

Last night with her is highlighted at a birthday party for Dave at WetSpot. Free appetizers, lots of bell-rings, and the girls all quite loose.

Saturday morning I was not sad to see Marilyn go. She was great, but it was just another ending. I have no regrets spending six days with her.

Thanks for the report. Really nice body on your SUbic girl. I dont understand the concept of taking 28 hours to get to a destination, only to be with the same girl the entire trip...a girl you met on your first night. I guess some guys are serial monogamists, even when on a trip to a whore city.

Congrats on keeping her all 5 days in Subic. Reminds me of my first trip to Pattaya . I had no idea what Pattaya was like as there were no internet sites to read so I took a gorgeous soapie girl from the old Atami MP. I was so frustrated seeing all the available pussy that I sent her back to BKK via bus after 2 days . She was pissed but she got 5 days of barfine without working for it as I had barfined her for a week prepaid.

It was worth wasting the money to be free of a gorgeous ball and chain . Where else but SEA can you say that ??

Nice wrap up on some of the Subic bars. They are multiplying rapidly and seem to be improving steadily.
The Subic area is really growing by leaps and bounds and as prices keep rising as quality keeps dropping in AC, Subic will only get bigger and bigger. Dave ( Mo) is no stoopid business man and he saw the writing on the wall and moved perhaps just at the best time.

Something is missing in this Marilyn story. Was she just a passenger that you hit it off with on the bus or was she part of the package?

HOt4Ass2 : Marilyn was not part of a package deal. There are some things missing from her story. Some conjecture, rumor, and hearsay popped up after she left through a couple third parties and her own story had some holes in it. I am glad that one third party in particular held her tongue until she was gone. Regardless, she was a great time and the time with her was worth 2/5ths of a trip. Having a 'girlfirend' to run with for the first 5 days likely made me so much more comfortable and relaxed in town and lead to skipping going back to AC as much as other factors.
