Woke up around noon, having 5 hours sleep in two days and three countries in 24 hours. Had decent breakfast from the owner of the casa. Went out to the balcony to drink some Buccanero beer which is a stronger beer 6.5% made in Cuba. Went to the grocery store across the street to restock on beer, snacks and water. One thing about Cuban grocery stores is that the prices are off the charts expensive for everything imported. The only thing cheap is rum and water. For example, a mini box of Pringles will set you back $4cuc($5US). Essentially all of the local produce and goods are used for free rations for the people and everything else imported. Very few things are made in Cuba outside of cigars, rum and coffee. As a result, the embargo's really hit them hard.
Later in the afternoon, the Good Doctor and Jonesie came back with quite a few boxes of cigars and a box for us to sample. These were 2008 Special Edition Sublimes from Montecristo. We smoked and drank Cristal beer(except Jonesie as he doesnt drink). The view was nice and the weather perfect. We got a call from our Miami Cuban buddy and he said to get a taxi to head out to Guines(45 minutes away) for a Cuban style outdoor pig roast. We found an old guy to take us there and were one our way. Took us a while going through different towns and many of the places didnt have street signs so we just had to ask people in the street where our buddy was and were eventually led out to a field with restored 50's cars and people sitting around in chairs. Interestingly enough, the only guy scared was the driver as we continued to see drunk campesinos passed out on their tractors or swerving on the road in their Russian Lada's. He didnt want to go into the neighborhood we were in and kept mentioning that I should watch out for guys with machetes. Eventually the Bucanerro beer was flowing, along with shots of rum with the entire family. There were supposed to be 6 hot girls waiting for us but all I could see was old people and kids. The pork was amazing, as was the different Cuban side dishes made by our buddies relatives. Most of the time I spent chatting with the local mechanic and our buddies dad about his car collection, including an amazingly restored 1957 Ford Fairlane. Seeing cars like this gives me a hard on without Cialis and I was ready to get the fuck out of the countryside as I was getting attacked by mosquitos. I didnt bring my camera but my buddy the doctor will send me some photos to fill in later.
Eventually we made it back to Havana and I took a nap while they did some cigar business. They woke me up at 1am and we were off to Salon Rojo. The strange thing about that night was that the nightlife was dead. Very strange for a Saturday night. Met a sweet wholesome girl at Salon Rojo but she wasnt quite cute enough to pull the trigger and there were only about 15 girls in the whole place. It was really making it difficult for us having the Havana Libre club closed down. My friends found dates and I was off to Delirio Habanero by myself. I knew I would see the girl from the night before but figured I would find a new girl on such a short trip. I arrived at the club and there were maybe 12 girls in the whole club and I was the only non-Cuban in the place other than a passed out old Italian guy. Many of the girls were very pretty but had big booties due to their mixed heritage. Kind of like the TJ dogs you see. Head of a German Shephard and body of a wiener dog. Only this time, these girls hade beautiful European or mulatta faces with big booties. Not my thing. It was 5:30am, so I eventually just decided to either go home alone or take the same girl. I just decided to take the same girl which is rare for me. She provided the same amazing service as the night before only this time I fucked her in the ass as the night before she promised she would give it to me "next time"...well this was next time. Her ass was tight and muy caliente. Did some ATM action before finishing in her mouth. Eventually she made it out of my room around 7:30am or so and I fell asleep.
