Just a few threads on interest and notes here
In Thailand for a few days of business and pleasure. Started the trip off in Jakarta but nothing worthy of note other than an expensive nights at CJ's at Mulia Hotel.

Landed in Bangkok and got stuffed around by Amari Boulevard so cancelled reservation and went straight to the President Solitaire. Good rooms, nice staff. The Amari are after the higher paying Middle Eastern trade rather than us white trash. Foyer looking like a the remake of "Lawrence of Arabia" with a few haracters from the "Star Wars" cantina secne thrown in..


I only had two nights in BKK so went to Soi 33 one night which was exceedingly boring and quite simply mutton dressed up as lamb. Next night was a bit of a party at Nana Plaza. Rainbow I think it was on ground floor 2nd club after escalator on your left as you come into complex was very good.

Barfined a older girl from there ... no not mamasan... she was lots of fun so went around to Soi 11 Zanzibar restaurant and sat and listened to music then back to room for a little testicular depressurization.
The girl "Wi" was very good but next morning got all clingly and wanted to stay the day with me and then when she found out I was going to Pattaya that night wanted to come and offerred to come for free... yeah right.....
Nana Plaza still is fun but IMO its gone downhill and quite frankly I think the bars and the girls need to realize there is a bit of a recession on.

Ive long thought Dave at Angelwitch is a self promoting peice of crap who shouldnt be allowed to act as a freind to all on this board when in fact he has no interest in anyone but himself.. I was glad to see his bar was for sale and quite frankly the quality there was pretty poor... hopefully he will dissapear from the bar scene and this board.

Next day I had the strangest experince. Ive been coming to Thailand for years and have business here however Ive never been stopped by a policeman ( or so I thought) on the street and charged with smoking on the street... no not littering or anything else.. just smoking.

On the spot 500B fine according to the policeman.
Now Im a reasonable chap but this is definitely OTT. Fortunately I had the presence to suggest to the policmen we should go back to the hotel where I know the manager and we could sort it out there.. policeman didnt want to do this and wanted it on the spot.. so I rang my Thai business collegue who typical of most Thai's knows someone who knows someone whose paid off someone who is in high poistion... in matter of minutes a police car pulls up... out gets fairly officious looking policeman.. not your average run of the mill guy... turns out he is a fairly high ranking cop who had got the call.

My cop as it turns out is a copy policeman... a guy who is not a policemen but waers a unoifrm and holds an official looking badge and is paid to inspect stalls and make sure that they are not selling brand copies... of course the astute amongst you will recognise that really his job is to collect money from those selling copy brand stuff and he just decided to supplement his income with a little bit of farang money on the side... maybe his 401K is a bit down with all the current market situataion.
Anyway problem solved but its just one of those typical Thai moments that leaves you shaking your head.

Anyway on to Pattaya. Pattaa in my view has far greater array of activities and the girls are in general higher standard than that of NP.

Angelwitch was down on quality but still has best floor show... mamnsan there who has seen me before is just plan annoying... wanting me to buy drinks for every girl that served me... told her to stop asking but she still did... one girl there 83 had a smoking hot body.. more later re that.

Happy A Go Go was as always brilliant for what it is. There is a girl there ( aagin by coincidence 83) that is just totally hot but uinfortunately she has been working there 3 years and knows all the tricks and wanted B2000 short time.... got all surly when I aksed was she worth it.. reasonable question I thought...

There is a go go bar on street called Airport One or something like that.. went in for a look and it was full of fatties... god is there nothing more depressing than seeing short fat girls in bikinis on stage... reminds me of life in Australia.

Found a little gem bar... called Secrets and its down an alley close to start of walking street... classy place.. very easy to sit back and have a drink and girls are very nice. Got talking to Jan and she was from Issan.. very cute but biggest thing was that she could hold a conversation, liked to talk and laugh.. bar fine was B400 (Its B 600 for the dancers there).

Off we go for some sidewalk dinner and plan next moves... seems this girl is wanting to go to strip show.. so its off to one of the cloubs and we select a god looking girl from the stage and we start chatting... my girl starts feeling this girl up while she has her hand on what is by now a very horny me. This goes on for sometime and I think the swarthy looking Russian guys behind us liked that show better than the one on the stage.

Now Im staying at the fairly classy Siam Bayshore and cant take two back so Jan and I walk back and then decide to stop into Angel witch.
No 83 comes over and seems these two know each other.. well its off again but this time its upstairs and as its a bit quiet there my girl decided that while she is feeling up 83 I could do with a bit of polishing...
At one stage 83 is standing in front of me bent over with her bikini bottoom to one side and Jan's head is bobbing up and down on me while she gently strokes what is by now a reasonably wet and glistening 83. Just when I thought hell, I'll blow it all now ,I see Mamasan coming up so quickly we assume the " just chatting position". Anyway too much of a good thing spoils one so its pay the bill and take Jan back to room.. she is an enthusiatic three holer and stayed around the next day while we sat by pool.

Notes to self

1) Go back to Pattaya soon ( there in three weeks again)
2) Avoid smoking, breathing or having circulatory pulse if you can while on streets of Bangkok... either that just pin a shitload of B500 notes on your clothes and let the " copy" police take them off for whatever misdemeanour you have committed
3) Stay at hotel where its more threesome friendly
4) Get Jan and 83 together again
5) Get video camera
6) Carry extra tissues
7) Get toasted one night and go back to Happy a Go Go and bar fine the bitchy 83 and give her a long pounding...
8) Go back to Pattaya again.. did I already mention that.....

Many of your assessments are the same as mine. I avoid BKK for the most part and go to Pattaya. There are so many more Pattaya options that you have yet to explore. To start with there are at least twenty gogos on Walking Street that you may not have stepped into yet. Then there are many gogos hidden away in spots not on Walking Street, for example Soi Bukhao and LK Metro. Javaj just pointed out to me that Tim's bar on 2nd Road has a gogo inside, and I never knew that after maybe fifteen trips. There are more beer bars than stars in the sky. This isn't mentioning Soi Six, where a guy can get lost in some of the greatest fun the world has ever seen. When you go back you absolutely have to do Soi Six before you let any girl get to attached to your side. You can do three short times on Soi Six have six to eight drinks and have bought five ladies drinks for under 4,000 Baht.

I do agree with you that the management scheme of Happy gogo is one of the best on Walking Street, but if you like Happy Gogo you should check out Peppermint and Beach Club. They are owned by the same people, and have the same management, Peppermint as a rule has more and prettier girls than Happy, and Beach Club less and not quite as pretty. On the other hand Beach Club girls are the most accessible for playing with and Peppermint the least.

I find Angelwitch a waste of my time other than to bring a girl that I already paid the bar for to watch the show. The mamasans are oppressive and the price for drinks high. You go back to the comments that you made about Dave. It's the same ownership as Angelwitch BKK.

This trip I've had some fine times in Silverstar on Soi 7 and 8. I've had good times at Happy gogo, Living Dolls I, all the little Soi Diamond gogos (those bordering the Supergirl bars), Sisters, even had a decent experience with a showgirl from Dollhouse. In the last months I've had some great times at Beach club and Peppermint as well. Again not mentioning Soi Six or Noung from Lólita's. I sometimes think that Noung is the world's champion blowjobber. One of the advantages to the little venues like Silverstar or the Soi Diamond venues is that the gogo girls there will bargain better. I can often get them to agree to 1,000 for ST and 2,000 for longtime.

BTW as to copy fake police. Don't offer 500 Baht. I was once stopped like that for smoking in a BKK park in front of a sign that had a picture of a cigarette with a circle and a line through it. After bargaining the bribe got to 200 Baht and I was clearly guilty. If I wasn’t guilty 100 Baht or nothing. If they know that you're going to stand your ground 100 Baht starts to look good. They can't throw you in jail for smoking a cigarette and they know it. They also know when you seem to be scared of them.

I didnt offer 500B in fact I was so gobsmacked that someone would want to fine me for smoking I didnt offer anything. The copy cop suggested 500B.

Are you sure re Angelwitch Pattayavs BKK... the time I did talk to Dave he told me it was under different ownership although that could be crap .. just like the rest of the bs he spews out.

If the cop asks for money on the spot, its a scam. It is illegal for Thai police to collect money on the scene. Although you can resolve most infractions by giving the officer a little bit of cash, you will notice most of them want you to do it secretly (as in slipping a 500 Baht note under your ID when you hand it to him). Most major intersections in Pattaya now have traffic cams that are run by city hall, not the cops, to cut down on the corruption. These cameras can pan and scan 360 degrees and see everything the traffic police do and the traffic police are aware of it. As a regular of Pattaya, I have had a few times when I was issued a ticket and the last few times the cops where obviously afraid of anyone seeing me hand them money.


I prefer to pay the officer right there on the spot to avoid standing in line at the police station for hours just to hand them 200-400 baht. When I could be spending that same time on Soi 6!

And don't worry the cops don't regularly give tickets out to the foreigners unless you really deserve them like I did.

Decided to take Gurock's advice and check out Soi 6 again.. I had been their a few times in past but always loaded and didnt want to stop and play.
Had a heavy session this morning with the sleepover girl... so wasnt feeling likeit unless it would be special... ended up a La La Land with a girl called Noi.. very eager three holer and reaslly cute.. Isaan girl and swims allot so sjhe has cut body.. says sometimes she gets mistaken for ladyboy... no no Adams apple nor large hand/ feet.
Soi 6 was good during the day.. it is what it is and the bars are what they are and abscence of mamasans hassling you for drinks makes it just quiet relaxing time.
