The town itself is quaint, I liked it and it is in no-way a 3rd world shithole.
Found the recommended "El Pueblo Viejo" restaurant with its multiple fire pits and wood burning pizza oven.
Ordered mushroom soup, their house saladand a grande pie "mixta", along with the standard pisco sour, and water. With tip = 80 Soles.
Took a few night shots, and debated whether or not to go for a massage. But, had consumed a little too much for that option.
Slept like the dead in that bed, with the rushing river as background music.
