I find your reports both informative and well written. On the other hand, criticism is part of the give and take of the board. And no one's reports are sacrosanct. Not that I'm telling you anything you don't already know of course.

As I said previously, it's the scoring process that I find "distasteful". Actually it's more the single-mindedness of the scoring that I find baffling and totally foreign.

We obviously approach this hobby from opposite directions. Yes, I do make an emotional investment in each and every partner I've had the pleasure of meeting. My point scale is pretty much like yours. I don't feel we should make different levels of (1-10) for different countries...as I feel it'll only be confusing to an outsider.
I was not being malicious when I scored Taina, others felt pretty much like me by implying that she was average or a little above.

We had different experience in SP for sure. I did not like Photo at all and loved Bomboa. But this is the norm for Sampa according to Moondog and Jarule. You never know what you get.

It's very hard to grade with same scale TJ and Brazil as the difference is in Richter scale magnitude, like exponential so a 7.0 in TJ is not a 7.0 in Brazil but there is not much foot crossing between TJ and Brazil anyway.
