After a eye opening ride into Bangkok, I arrived at my Hotel for the next 3 nights. I had reseached in depth on AGODA.COM, kind of an Expedia or Travelocity for Asia. Never failed me during my trip. AGODA.COM also hooked me up with LATESTAYS.COM. You should DEFINETELY check this out if you are a bit of a rebel like me.

A for instance. While in BKK I KNEW I wanted to travel to Phuket, but wasn't sure where. Found Coral Island Resort HUE ISLAND for $34 a night three days from arrival. Why is this a good deal? I was talking to a Canadian sitting on the beach one day, and he was bragging about HIS $60 a night rate...AGODA will give you a voucher to present at the front desk of the hotel you choose.

Okay...so much for assisting travelers. I checked into the Dawin Hotel on Soi 4, showered, shaved -except Gotee-which has lived with me for 20 years-and I would MUCH later found was a detriment to my Mongering Dream-.

Strolled a couple of short blocks to the NANA plaza. It was now nigh on 130AM but still hoping. I took a seat in a bar -sorry I don't recall the name, regulars will know it as the one adjacent to the NANA parking lot.

Bought a Singha, my first, certainly not my last, and kicked back to take it all in. Saw many 6's, a few below, a scattering of 7's but not much beyond that. Based loosly on the Toyz rating scale, which is in direct proportion to the alcohol ingestion at any given time.

A very nice bar maid sat down with me, and seemed to just be working, not looking for a date. I struck up a convo, and she was very adept at English. Explained this was my first hour in Bangkok, to which she smiled. Asked her how everything worked. Although I knew from this board I still wanted a local viewpoint, as it were. She was quite forthcoming, taught me quite a bit. In fact, we got into a little friendly wagering on Katooies. She helped me realize that they really ARE quite beautiful and you better be damn careful...unless of course, that is what you are there for!

I had a few girls approach me, "Hi Hansum Man, I go with you?" But nothing that I was ready to commit to this early. I continued to watch as pretty girls & punters poured out of the plaza. Some attached, some not. Saw a few high 8's, but generally they came out, found the first taxi, and away into the night.

I spur of the moment realized that my first LOS rendevous was going to be with a Freelancer as the clubs were close to closing time. I took a short walk around the parking lot to see what was available, but moved into the corner by the bar to just scan. Yeah, the old pervert in the corner routine. Then, as the girls continued to increase, I spotted Tip. Tip was the exact look I wanted for my first encounter. A touch taller than most, light chocolate complextion, outstanding eyes, and a very nice figure. Prolly breastically enhanced, which proved to be true, but all else checked out.

After quite some time of talking, she really was fun to talk to, I asked if she would like to shower first. She took the hint and went to freshen up. While I had taken one less than an hour before, I too rinsed off to complete the delousing process.

First dissapointment, and I didn't again find out what was the problem until my LAST day in Thailand, but no DFK which I was looking forward to.

However, BBBJ was long & slow...very fine skillz. Turning into a solid GFE right off the bat! After seveal minutes, I wanted to taste this asian flower, and layed her flat. I was not dissapointed as she was perfectly trimmed, but not completely shaved my fav.

OK I apologize in advance for this minor threadjack. But I would like to point out the comparable price points for good ST loving in various venues for new mongerer in that town.

In AC, often reputed as a great value destination, most newbies will hit Fields Ave. If they are fortunate enough to find a hot enough girl who is willing to go with them, then it will costs 1625 Pesos (1350 Barfine, 150 Lady drink, 95 Pesos customer drink, and 25 tip for waitress.) This is about $33. Now of course there is some chance that your will want the girl to stay LT, and a much smaller chance she will want to stay LT. This will likely involve only a 500 pesos top-up in the morning (typical range 200-1000.)

Now that 1625 pesos is about 1200 Baht. It seems like in Pattaya you can get some great ST's from Soi 6, Beach Rd, and Beer Bars to fall in below (some far below) this point. How much on top of this do you need to get a Go Go girl. Another 500-1000? I don't know and would appreciate someone chiming in who knows better. Toyzrme seems to show he could do it in the Nana Plaza for only 300 Baht more.

Now that same 1625 Pesos is 400K indonesian rupiah. In Jakarta this will allow you to enjoy a hottie great time S/T session in any Kota Bar, Mangga Besar venue, travel hotel, and take out from Blok M. You would still have between 50-120K left over. Over in Surabaya, you can bang a winner in Dolly and still have over 300K change. Shoot for your one AC princess you can have four 90 minute sessions of full on great sex each with a different girl in Dolly.

Hell, even China offers better value. 1625 pesos is about 225 RMB. You can have a bbs ST take out to your room for 150-220 RMB (after a little 20RMB tip for taxi.)

Of course, if you are lover of LT the value propositions can change as the additional amount of compensation is much higher in the other venues compared to AC. But of course, LT is far from a gauranteed option these days.

In BKK you can get away with 1500ST with some hot gogo girls. But often you will have to absorb the 600bht barfine, unless they are coming to shag you off-hours or if you are the second customer of the night.

With some effort, if you live here or are staying for an extended holiday, you can get some good lookers to throw you a shag for 1000bht, but they gotta really like you.

For hot girls at the big massage parlours, be prepared to shell out 2000-2800bht for a 90 min-2hr session.

In Pattaya, there are more ST brothels to choose from, and yes they are cheaper, but you pretty much get what you pay for.
For Western guys on holiday, the hottest girls can be found at the gogo bars, and not only will your mileage vary greatly, but the experience (after drinks, barfine, and fee to the girl) can easily run more than 3000bht (2000ST fee, 600barfine, 2 drinks for you and 2 for your girl as you interview her and get the hang of the scene, almost 600bht)
This is why I collect numbers and rarely buy drinks for the girls. But I live here and my salary is shit, which both affords me the extra time to pursue this strategy and requires me to bargain hunt and try to strike a happy balance between performance, looks, and price.

After hour rates are lower than rates before closing time. 1,000 baht can be negotiated after 2:00 AM. Crossing over Sukhumvit to the odd soi side and they are lined up side by side for three blocks.

Toyz, don't let the vets intimidate you, they're just trying to be helpful in their own special way. Porker has often said (to paraphrase) "it's YOUR money, if that's what you like, who am I to criticize." And I get that you fully enjoyed Tip, DFK or no.

That first BKK experience is unforgettable even if it is later improved upon.

1,500thb for s/t with a gal you pick up in the bar adjacent to the nana hotel seems high to me. isn't 1,000thb more "market" for this type of gal. i'm assuming it is late at night and the gal is not considered a stunner.

i've paid 1,000 s/t to gals from the soi 7 beer garden (which i think compares with the late night quality of freelancers around nana). i've paid 2,000 l/t to many freelancers that i've met over the years.

i don't negotiate much with the girls so that usually means i pay a little more than most. that means others could likely shave some off the 1,000 and 2,000 noted above.

on the go go front, never heard of 2,500 s/t. i've had many girls talk about receiving 5,000 for l/t but never heard them talk about a 2,500 s/t.

they seem pretty set on 2,000 for the top of the line and 1,500 for a decent looker. plus bar fine of course.

I never questioned the barfine amount. I have posted that information myself numerous times over the years.

However, even if you were not referring to CH members, which was not evident in your post, I am still curious as to where you get the figure of 2500 ST that "most mongerers" are paying.

I too have lived in Thailand as a teacher so I know about shit salary. Time and money are, in many instances, interchangeable. It also allows you access to women that would not consider going with other foreigners. After a while you are perceived as an accepted resident (trying to get in their pants), instead of an unsavory perv on holiday (trying to get in their pants). When I lived there I found a few sweet words, combined with 5THB desserts or sticks of BBQ worked better then cold, hard cash.

every few weeks there seems to be new discussions on pricing levels. i don't think much of the discussion here was directed at you, really just added here as an "update" or "confirmation" for all the members.

if you travel to phuket, pattaya, and bkk all in one trip, it is not easy to remember all the rates. at least for a somewhat infrequent visitor.

Its called Koh He ( I think). I found it on Latestays.com while in Bangkok. Yes, took a girl...will post pics in my ongoing trip report.

I like to do it all while on vaca. Even this trip was not "just" to monger. There are some amazing things to do and see outside of the bedroom I found.

Trip was tiring as I spent a lot of time travelling...next time, I'll limit my locations, but for the first time wanted to squeeze as much as I could into two weeks.

Did a LOT of snorkeling, some deep sea fishing, parasailing, shopping...
