Part Two
Day 1
It was almost time to end my trip, but I wanted to go out with … well, you know. I started from the airport this time. Usually I go into Bangkok from the airport, so I was in unfamiliar territory. There are inexpensive buses going to Pattaya from the airport, but they're hours apart. I hung around the bus ticket booth looking out for “handsome men” seeking the same ticket. A taxi costs 900THB while the bus is somewhere around 150THB. Three guys can go in style for not much more than a bus ticket.
My first contact was a Brit who actually owns a home in Pattaya. We connected and waited around for the third “handsome man” to show up. This was a Rus named Mikal. His English was poor, but we explained our situation and he agreed to join us.
The taxi ride to Pattaya was a bit long but there was no waiting and the car was comfortable. Furthermore, the guy dropped me off right next to the Marriott. Checking in consisted of explaining that I booked the room for two people but I was unsure of my girlfriends full name. This was politely ignored and I was ushered to my room. I'd been upgraded to one of the really nice rooms (a bathroom with glass walls).
That evening I did another tour of the bars starting with some on Second Road. I'd picked up a motorbike at an affordable rate (150THB per day) so I was mobile. First stop was a place that all my Pattaya pals used to rave about: Buffalo bar. I'd had a bad experience there two years earlier, but figured I'd give it another shot. Inside, the girls were mediocre looking and the place had all the excitement of a convenience store.
I went next door to check out the BDSM club. I figured it was early enough I might get a peek inside. No doing. A girl in a police uniform opened the little window and asked me if I'd ever been there before. Learning I was a newcomer, she explained that the cost to enter was somewhere around a thousand baht and drinks were fucking expensive for the first one, outrageously expensive for the second one and seriously expensive for subsequent drinks. The only way I could know what happens inside is to pay and go in. She told me the rates for short time and long time and I decided I'd be better off finding a submissive girl and keeping her for an entire week.
I scooted around some more and ditched the bike to hit Walking Street. I returned to some of the bars where Doc and I visited two weeks earlier. On of my favorite bars, though I've never taken a girl from there, is Happy A Go-Go. What I like about the place is that at least one of the dancers there is some kind of untouchable sex queen goddess. She appeared on stage soon after I arrived. This is a girl who does not dress in the typical go-go girl outfits like the other girls (typically an uninteresting bikini), but wears denim hot pants and a torso baring torn tank top with a ball cap – or something to that effect. She doesn't just stand there, but really gets into the music. The girl on stage tonight is not necessarily a great dancer, but she is certainly good. What separates her from her peers is that she's really into the dancing; moving and grooving. She doesn't stand in one spot but moves around. I can't help but wonder what she's like in the sack. She's all advertisement, but does the performance live up to the hype? She's not my type anyway, but she's really fun to watch.
I was sure I was not going back to Living Dolls that first night, but I was sure I'd go back the sencond night and keep Da occupied for a few days. Well, gentlemen, I found nothing to my liking and went back to Living Dolls. Da saw me soon after I walked in, screamed and dashed into my arms. “Oh, you remember me, eh?” She was all smiles as she guided me to a seat. Mamasan came along and asked me where Doc was. I guess he'd not made it back to the bar since we were last together. I confessed my ignorance and told Da to get changed. The two of them colluded to get me to stay for another drink, but I was keen to get Da back to the hotel and give her a good seeing to.
And that, my friends, is exactly what I did.
I took Da around the back entrance just in case the Marriott's liberal policies had changed at some point. The elevator guard took Da's ID card and up the elevator we went. I used that private time to nibble her ear and generally drive her bananas.
I'd abstained for nearly two weeks so my pump was primed. It was a repeat of our first night together, basically, so I'll not go into the details. However, we made good use of the balcony and I got as sweaty as I can ever remember.
Day 2
The next morning we made use of the balcony again, but Da was nervous as hell about it. While no one could see what we were actually doing from another balcony, they could surmise it easily enough.
The fabulous view from the balcony.
With my motorbike, I was able to offer Da a ride home. She had recently moved from Jomtien and had some trouble finding her place. I dropped her off at her apartment and told her I'd pick her up at the bar at 8PM, then went about my day.
I was keen to do some photography while in town. Pattaya is not the most photogenic place once you get past the cuties. “Why on earth would we want to get past the cuties?” I can hear you say. Well, sometimes you want to show people photos from your trip but you don't want those folks to know exactly how much fun the place really is, OK?
Anyway, I haul my bag of gear and tripod to Living Dolls to pick up Da. She's already in her bikini even though I told her not to bother getting dressed for work. I send her to get changed and mamasan talks me into buying a drink. Sheesh, you'd think she was getting half the drink tab! Seeing my camera gear, I was hoping she'd show some interest so that I might convince her to let me shoot some of the girls on stage. No doing. Oh, well.
Watching a go-go open for business is always fun. The girls are running around putting on their makeup and adjusting their costume. The most interesting part is the rituals they go through. There's lots of money tapping and wai-ing to the spirit house. At 8PM a troop of girls march up onto the stage, stand there for a few minutes and walk back down. What the heck was that about?
Outside, Da and I wandered around and I tried to be artistic with my camera.

What a doll!
Ah, Walking Street. How I miss you.
Back at the hotel, another night of fun and games (but no balcony action this time).
The next day I take her back home so she can get a change of clothes. She's sharing a room with a friend. The room is a good size but consists of a refrigerator, a vanity, a chest of drawer and a good size bed. I forgot to ask how much was the rent, but I was sure she'd be paying less for a month than it would cost anyone one else to spend a night at the Marriott.
Speaking of the Marriott, I insisted that Da bring a swim suit so we could check out the pool. She told me she couldn't swim very well. No matter, I figured I'd just take her to the shallow end. Oh, my, she looks good in a bikini!
She was soon in the deep end diving underwater and splashing around like a seal. “Can't swim, eh?” There were very few tourists around the pool, but they pretty much ignored us so we had the place to ourselves.

We went to the movies that night and I made sure we had a reclining couch. What a way to see a film! I had her choose the movie since she would have to read the subtitles. I'd hoped to get into a bit of hanky panky in the dark, but found the film too engrossing. I made up for that later.
Day 3
After a leisurely morning of sex, I decided I wanted to see a real beach. We rode over to the pier and caught a boat to Koh Larn.
One of the boats to the island.
I rented another bike and we explored the roads before finding a beach to our liking. We happened upon the far end of the beach and there was no one within fifty meters of us. Awesome. I bought a beer and soda from the guy looking after the chairs and we both relaxed.
Looking down the beach.
The other end of the beach.
We went swimming a couple of times. Of course, for me, the main objective during each of these aquatic excursions was to have sex in the water; which we did – in full view of anyone who might suspect what we were up to. We did keep it discrete, however.
Da looks damn hot in a bikini.

Back on the mainland, it was my last night in Pattaya and I was quite happy to keep Da. With a loss as to what to do that night - I was not interested in drinking - I rented a DVD player from the hotel and we stayed in bed to watch a couple of the movies I picked up.
Da was fast asleep by 11PM. I debated waking her for a nocturnal romp, but decided to go for a walk instead. It was nice to have a leisurely stroll around the area without having to be on the make (as I usually am). I could easily have picked up a babe for a quickie, but I'd given up on seeing how many notches I could carve in the proverbial bedpost.
One last look.
The next morning I was determined to make Da remember me. I took her back out on the balcony for a bit, then back inside to finish on the bed. I didn't have quite the same energy as I did the first night, but I did my best. I drove Da back to her apartment and returned to the hotel to check out, get to the bus station and make my way back to Bangkok – where “My Dear” awaited me. More on that later.

Very fun reading. I just booked a trip for May, and will be going to Cambodia. I enjoyed your report on Cambodia and I can't decide whether to skip PP and just go to Siam Reap or try to do both.

Great report. I remember when i was just like you, taking one girl I jived with for a string of days, sneaking in a "massage" here and there of course. It was great having someone you felt comfortable with, and having the opportunity to do touristy stuff with. Theses types of experiences are long lasting. Contrast that with my last trip to colombia where I did at least 6 girls a day, and I don't even remember half their names!...adrenaline filled, blurry and fast paced. Not what I'd call a nice relaxing vacation.
Great job, I think I'll be following in your foot steps when I'm in SEA next month.

Wombat88, IMHO you absolutely write some of the best trip reports on CH. You reports make me so envious of your experiences and salivated at the thought of trying the same locales. Yes this report actually had me thinking, "damn I should give Pattaya another go."
Then I remember after reading some of your excellent earlier TR's to PP, Cambodia. It really motivated me to go to there, and set my expectations high. Unfortunately, my trip to PP was probably the worst SEA trip (mongering or otherwise) I ever took, and it was the first time I actually just left early. Haha, I won't make that mistake again; and I pulled Pattaya off the launching pad. However, I will never stop enjoying any reports you post. And I will just accept that I must be wired differently and admire how much enjoyment you wring out of trips to LOS and Cambodia.

Thanks, fellas. I have to admit I sometimes wonder if it's worth the effort, but in the end, I'm writing these for myself as I too easily forget the details of these fabulous excursions to places few of our peers will ever know.
Av8tr, PP is good if you're up for fooling around, but in the last eight years, Siem Reap has gone from sleepy backwater dirt road town into a real hot spot with lots of places to eat and drink (and shop if that interests you). If you have lots of time, do both, if not, stick to the temples, they're awe inspiring. Girls can be harder to find than in the capital, however.
Six girls a day, Socrates? Oh, how I wish I was eighteen again, heh, heh. Colombia is on my list, I just wish I could acquire languages more easily; speaking Spanish would really come in handy, I suppose.
Don't be envious, Mongerx. Believe me, I've had lots of really bad experiences in my travels. I've written about a few of them, but most get pushed to the back of the closet of my brain. Sorry you Cambodia trip didn't go as planned, believe me, I've experienced disappointment in a lot of places (including Pattaya and Rio). My only advice is to have no expectations. Thanks for the super compliment; it's greatly appreciated.

Wombat , let me assure you your wrtings and pictures are worth the effort. You are blessed with writers style something not many have . Pattaya Tourist Association should sponsor you.
You have got me thinking deeply about bar hop different girl every night versus have one and be happy.. Im here in Pattaya every 2-3 weeks for a week and probably at stage where I should act my age and not shoe size ... has to be cheaper as well. That photo of Da with her hands above her head on the beach is priuceless and its not the beauty of the girl / setting that strikes me but more one of companionship and fun , something that if Im brutally honest is what Im probabaly missing.
Thanks again Wombat
