ok, back from 10 days in our favorite city. lots to cover, some to directly answer questions posted in the last week, the rest just to provide detail info.

first off, the holiday days – dec-24,25,31 & jan-1 – are not good for the hobby. places like madahos, playwoman, affaire, shampoo, blacks, and the like were all closed both nights of each of the two holidays. and internet girls were difficult to confirm/schedule, and nearly impossible to contact. the other days around the holidays seemed quite similar to any other time, though.

visited madahos, playwoman, affaire numerous times. also made single visits to hooks, solid gold, closer, shampoo. madahos and playwoman seem to have the best girls right now, and pretty close tie between them for best imho. i saw nothing good in solid gold. closer was aweful, only like 4 girls, all less than 5 (other than the waitress who told me she goes home with men on a selective basis). shampoo on a sunday night also had poor selection quality, but some quantity. the hooks visit was a weeknight (mon or tue) and there were like 20 girls there, not so bad. one was real nice looking, and left with my friend, as i found one of the prettiest girls i’ve met in all my ba club visits. brisa is a very petite 20 or 21 yr-old, and claims to be only one month into the business. i believe it as her skills were not let’s say well developed. and she made every move in the book on me (eg. asking for us$150 and then agreeing “oh, ar$150”; asking for money first; bbbj, etc), but in the end learned that i would have none of each attempt so she agreed versus losing me (eg. when she insisted that she get the money first, of course this was when we were naked in bed, right!?, after lengthy enough talking i practically got up to cancel). in addition, she could have used some assistance in the hygiene area, get my drift?…maybe this was a temporary thing…

AMATEUR SCENE

ba is a great city for just going out, and chasing girls, if that's your scene. i would say here are your requirements:

1- of course, you like the non-pro scene enough, implying you have enough skills (have some rap and fun) also.

2- you speak just enough spanish; i speak just enough, say to say sit in a public school with 5th graders, i'm certainly not fluent, and my friends may speak less, and we have no problem.

3- you look right, meaning you're attractive to the girl, with regard to age, fitness, attractiveness, etc.

so, no, a 50+ dude going to a disco to catch a 20 yr-old probably won't work, certainly not on the first night. but a 30-40+ younger than his age not good looking enough and in shape dude that has some rap can do well, even score the first night.

in addition, it's fun and easy to meet girls in the day. i just walk the neighborhood, maybe shopping, and when i spot a looker i simply act like i'm walking the same direction and stop her to ask for directions (where is xxxx place, or xxxx street - even though i know it's one blk that way). unlike the u.s., my experience is like 80% of the girls will be intrigued by your accent and ask 'where are you from' before you have to ask her more.

here are some places for this scene:

daytime- ave florida pedestrian mall; santa fe between ave 9th de julio & puerdeon; your malls - alto palermo, patio bullrich, pacifico, etc; the streets of recoletta or others.

nights- bar/restaurants include the las canitas area (acre st), palermo viejo (plaza serano - honduras & serano), palermo hollywood (start at the bar unico, about 10-15 blks down hondurus (i believe) from plaza serano, asia de cuba on specific nights (wed? fri/sat?), millones (1/2 blk off of santa fe not far from calloa but i'm not sure of exact cross); discos include those in costanero area such as mint (hottest new spot) buenos aires news (past it's day i'd say), tequilla (only on tue or is it wed?), pacha (don't go on matine night when it's all under 18, sorry i don't know exact nights), davina or is it davino, rivera este (was great, don't know if still open).

all prices are pesos, and i don't remember if she started at dollars or not - i respond the same to all... "where would i obtain dollars here?". which is true, i don't bring usd on my trips, but use atm's with cc's as back up. (ok, i brought some usd to pay art suites and get the 10% discount...).

i don't think she spoke english, but then i didn't try to speak english either. my spanish is not that great, but it's good enough to pass (although i surely give away my gringo-ness with my accent).

again, i'm guessing she wanted $250 for short time because it was holidays, and she was being selective with her time. the fact that her phone was off for so much of the holiday season (i tried it constantly) also shows me she was very busy with non-work activities.

well, she was first on my list... i'm anxious to hear from someone who has an experience with her!!
