On this trip, I flew Cathay Pacific out of JFK. I like this airline. Boarding was convoluted because many of the passengers did not follow the “boarding by row #” instructions but other than that my flight was top notch. The flights were on time and seating was comfortable. I am not a big guy (5 foot 7) so economy was fine. Meals were fine, they gave us plenty of food/snacks throughout the entire 16 hour flight to and from HKG. Plenty of entertainment on the in-flight system. I even got upgraded to Business on the HKG – MNL leg of my trip! Great cubicle like seats.
On my first trip to A.C. I flew EVA Airways out of EWR. Although the service and food was also great, I did not like the extra un-announced fueling stop in Anchorage!
Cathay was smooth sailing all the way. The Central Park Hotel driver was waiting for me in the correct spot at the MNL airport pickup area. I had no issues with my lugguage so after a quick hour & 45 mins on the road, I was checking into the Central Park.
