I stayed at the Pacific Breeze on my first trip and loved it. Having the restaurant and pool there was a plus though I never did indulge in any pool parties. Of course the service by the staff was top notch.
On this trip, I was going the budget route so I opted for the Central Park. At $38/night, I thought I made a good choice. The reception staff, waitresses and housekeeping were all as nice as those at PB. The food was as good as the PB and yet cheaper! My only problems with CP . . . hot water took a long time to reach my shower and no view out my window. They put me in Room #48 on the 2nd floor. I would definitely stay here again. They replied to my reservations request promptly and confirmed my room type and length of my stay several times via e-mail prior to my arrival.
They were great scheduling my airport pick-up and drop-off At 2,500 php each way, it was the most I spent on any one service during my trip. Had zero luck trying to find a shared ride via the Margarita Station website. Though I only had 2 suitcases, I was not going to try taking the Bus & then a trike to my hotel. Any leads on a RELIABLE personal driver charging less than 2500 for airport pickups would be appreciated by anyone who travels to AC.

I can wholeheartedly recommend the Pacific Breeze and the Central Park hotels for anyone that want to stay on Fields.
I have visited the Lewis Grande and would think about staying there once their advertised $39 rooms come online. I like the idea of having a real bed - a real mattress plus box spring combo. If only the more expensive rooms are available, I am still not sold on the hotel's location.
If CP and PB were not available, these budget hotels look interesting to me . . .
Tiger Hotel
Charlie Apartelle (Perimeter area)
950 Condotel
Valentino’s Hotel (just down the block from Central Park)
EuroAsia Hotel (Perimeter area)
I will probably be back to Angeles in the Fall when it’s cooler.

ahh! Central Park is a good place but i don't like the beds. too soft for me. i couldn't sleep and the ac took a while to get up to speed. but i agree, good friendly (and cute) staff to interact with!

NIX 950 Condotel. Beds are about as comfortable as a granite slab and decor is appalling. WiFi only available by reception desk.

Firm beds are good to f*ck on though, IMHO. Thanks for the heads up about this hotel though.
