On this trip, I eat 80% of my meals from the Central Park Room Service. I enjoyed the occasional meal at the restaurant of the Dollhouse Hotel because it lets me checkout the girls coming & going to work. For fast food, I visited the Shawarma Center and McDonalds a few times.
I was glad that I finally made it out to the Cottage Kitchen. Food was superb. Unfortunately, they were closed during Holy week (April 6 – 10) and I made one trip all the way out to that part of Perimeter for nothing!
I ended up going to Zapata’s and enjoyed a decent Mexican meal!
My honeyko took me to a small Korean place across the street from Vortex called Hyun Jeong (I think). I am not a fan of Kimchi so I got the curry which was fine. The small storefront restaurant had outstanding wait staff and had several very private eating cubicles. You’ll have a blast reading all the hand written messages and shout-outs from former restaurant patrons that filled the walls.
On my last trip, I had a great meal at C’ Italian.
Any veterans can recommend a place for medium rare steaks or prime rib in Angeles? How about legit Osso Buco or Lasagne?

Not sure about lasagna, but you can get great steaks and osso buco at C Italian. Located between Savannah and Lewis Grand.

A hell of a lot less cheaper than C Italian for Italian food is Salvatore's on Fields avenue. Their lasagna was superb IMO.

I USED to go to Salvatore's. Couldn't get past the sight of seeing a mouse scurrying on their tables.
