Just as I’d dozed off again, the door bell rang once more. This time, I was woken up for a worthy cause. A technician came to install my warm water heater. 
Carlos showed up a little later. He made some phone calls and retrieved the password for the PC. The Internet connection worked a charm. I could make phone calls through the land line. Things were looking up!
But when Carlos talked to the technician, it turned out there was a hitch. Warm water heaters work on gas... and the gas wasn’t connected yet!

I went back to sleep and woke up late afternoon. After running some errands and devouring a big, juicy steak, I decided to give the Centro strip clubs another shot.
