I arrived in Manaus in the afternoon and was stuck working until later in the evening. It was Sunday so there really wasn't a whole lot going on but I wanted to give it a shot. I ended up staying in el centro. Not the best part of town however it does have a fair bit of streetgirl action on Sundays. I was just walking around the city getting my bearings at around 4-5 in the afternoon and I was approached by several chicks along the different streets. The weren't really on the main drag but were not very far out of sight either. There seemed to be a large amount of drug activity in the area so keep up your guard.

I could hear some music off in the distance so I went off in that direction and it turned out to be a strip club. The guy at the door let me in with no problem but was more selective on the locals. Not saying that he was really screening the people, but at least keeping out the people that were clearing beyond functioning right. It was pretty rundown and there weren't many chicks working. There was a large number of guys and the girls left a lot to be desired.

I apologize because I cant remember street names or the names of these clubs but everything was right off of a plaza with a church in the middle in el centro. I didn't stay long at that club and I continued to walk around just taking in the sights. I found a couple of decent looking streetgirls and I started talking to them a little bit. They told me that once the sun goes down I shouldn't walk around out here because apparently it gets pretty dangerous. They were asking if I wanted to have a good time and said it was 50 reis for a half hour. I was tempted because one of the girls was pretty good looking, especially for the price, but I just wasn't feeling that adventurous at that point. So I went back to the hotel to meet up with the others and we went off to get some steak.

After diner everyone returned to the hotel but I wasn't about to spend the night inside even if it was Sunday. So I started asking taxi drivers if they knew of a place that was open. Most said no, others called friends first and then said no, and finally a guy told me he knew of a place. So we drove around and he pulled up to a residential building. He knocked on the door but they were closed for the day. So he tried a different place. We pulled up and it wasn't a bar or a club it was just a girl waiting for us outside her house. I wasn't really expecting her to hop in the taxi, but she hoped in and off we went. I found out in a minute that she didn't want to spend too much time in front of the house because everyone knew her in the neighborhood and her parents were home.

So down the road a ways we pulled over and started talking. She was a good looking girl, white skin, dark hair, and a wonderful Brazilian body. If I had been given a larger selection she probably wouldn't be my first selection but clearly my options were limited so we settled on 150 and she would stay as long as I wanted.

We got to the hotel and everything went pretty well. Started of with BBBJ and then I was ready to move onto the main course but she didn't have a condom. No problem she said. “You are clean right? You don't have to use a condom.” The hell I don't. I can't really say I love putting on a condom but I am just not up for that type of risk yet. So fortunately the front desk had some. The sex was pretty good, nothing incredible but enjoyable. I asked if she did anal and she said she never had tried. Eventually she was persuaded to give it a shot, money does wonders, but she wasn't really enjoying it which took some of the fun out so I just had her finish me off with a BBBJTCIM. All and all she was ok but nothing special. I had to wake up early so I sent her on her way after just a couple of hours.


The next day I was off to Porto Velho and I left Manaus feeling a little disappointed. Granted it was Sunday but I didn't realize that I would have a much better time the next time around.


I got to Porto Velho and was able to get away that evening. Had a nice diner before heading out and I really wasn't expecting anything special. First because it was a pretty small town and it was a Monday. According to the people that I talked to there are a couple of places that you can go. I ended up heading to a place that had a couple of lion statues outside. Sorry I dont remember the name but there really wasn't anything worth going to look for. I went in and had a drink and everyone was talking about how the strip show was about to start. Well 45 minutes later it finally kicked off but it was hardly worth watching. The girls were very low quality. There wasn't anything in there that was worth while and they seemed kind of expensive as well. I think they were looking for 150 for a couple hours. Anyway I was leaving the next day so I called it a night.

Again, thanks for the report. It's too bad you were there on a Sunday in Manaus. It is dead, like most places, on Sundays.

There are often working girls to be found at the Tropical Manaus Hotel. I meet a stunning morena of indigenous Indian background at the bar, and she was the best find of my three nights in Manaus. I found the clubs in town pretty run down and the girls in the places similarly run down. It's an interesting city for tourism but I wouldn't recommend it as a mongering spot.

Thanks for the report and the great photos. It's nice to hear about other venues in Brazil. I'm heading back to Rio for my third trip in Sept and this time I'm gonna actually get out of Rio for a couple of days and visit Iguazu Falls.
