Just wanted to let you know that Panama is back!

They have gone through some rough times as far as mongering is concerned. Great pick up bars have closed, cops were rounding up Columbiana whore with sting operatioins, pulling street whores off to jail; it was a whole thing that went on for a few years.

Now it seems things are coming back. Maybe it has to do with the new president and administration, Martinelli; maybe it has to do with the global economy........who knows??? But fact of the matter is that Panama was very fun for me this past week when I was there for a while. The economic conditions of Panama will not be as affected as other central American countries due to the continued business with Canal Expansion, and many countries have invested in this and show their presence. As well, businesses continue to move to Panama for cheaper labor.

So once again, the streets were filled with good looking Columbiana whores ready and able, especially around the Venetos and Manallo areas close to via espania. I picked up one Panamaniana off the street for a good session @ $40; she initally asked for $60. The Columbianas ask for $150, but this is a fucking joke. They will do it for $70 or &80. There were some ridiculously UGLY ones as well; but the point of the matter is that cops are walking all around them and not hassling them anymore; especially around Venetos Casiino. If you pick up a whore in Venetos they will not do anything for less than $100 now.

Golden Time, Miami are still the same deal.

The Oasis has become a bit problematic however. The girls are constantly asking for more money and have developed a bad attitude. You pay $30 at the door, and I usually give the girl $40 for full service suck and fuck. They are asking for $80 now, and although I have never paid over $40 they have a real attitude if you don't give them this. Makes for a less enjoyable experience as far as I am concerned.

The River club is a better bet than the Oasis, since you pay the one fee of $60 and there are no negotiations.

As well, all the hotel prices have gone way up, at least 30% across the board, some even 50%. AJ recommends the Hotel California, but I have never stayed there and hear from the locals that it is a dive now. I usually stay in a private condo, which you can rent in Panama for $600 a week, or the Suites Ambassidor for around $95 a night for a nice two room suite with a kitchen. I like the idea of a condo better though because if you are bringing up a different girl every day the front desk starts to look at you funny.

If you want to get away for a good beach trip at low cost, rent a car and drive a little over an hour to Santa Clara beach. This is just past Coronado, which is a big beach development in Panama now. Santa Clara is a much nicer beach than Coronado; clean and clear water, and Coronado is dark and musky. You can stay at a nice little place on the beach in Santa Clara called Las Verenaras; has a good rest. as well.

The local bars, many of them new, are as well filled with semi-pros and students looking to make a little extra money; They will all fuck you for $70 or $80 after a few drinks and laughs.

It possible as well, if you want more a relationship GFE thing, to pick up a girl at the local discos and clubs on Calle Uruguay, a very hot and hopping place for young single life in Panama. These are girls looking for a boyfriend to take care of them, and they will be very insulted if you try to pay them for sex.........
You can still fuck them that evening if you play your cards right, it all depends on who YOU are and if you feel like putting in that kind of time; Many guys who go to Panama are only interested in rentals and not so much long term, and I can certainly understand this. I am on my 3rd major GFE now since I go to Panama quite a bit, and I do like the familiarity of the fuck and getting into it with someone you know. I play my game correct so that I can have both rentals for the first few days, and then GFE and beach clubs for the rest of my visit, simply by telling my GFE I will be there days after I actually arrive. Works very well! There has been a major expansion of Ave. Balboa as well. It has expanded quite a bit now into 5 lanes in both directions! I was quite impressed when I saw it. Inbetween the two directions of the Ave., there are huge parks, playgrounds for kids, overpasses, basketball courts, picnic areas, and a running and jogging track that goes all the way from Patilla to Calendonia! It is pretty amazing. This has significantly cut the bad smell that used to be associated with the water down there we well. You barely notice it now and can roller blade or jog with gagging.

The new Mayor of Panama City (Bosco) has a hard-on for prostitution and massage parlors. I just got word that Club Miami was raided the other night and several tourist were detained by police/health officials.

About a month ago he raided Jet Escort service sp? (or similar name).

I'm not sure what they can do to a tourist caught in one of these places. These MPs are supposed to be licensed and sex with a licensed prostitute is supposed to be legal in Panama.

A majority of the male population and all of the MP chicas in Panama seem to be pretty upset. There are a lot of other dangers in Panama that could be addressed before they need to hunt down sex workers.

Since it sounds like the tourist were detained by health officials they were probably given an STD screening.

I'm not sure what you can do to minimize your exposure to this type of bible thumping hassle. Maybe it might be easier to pick-up chicas in regular clubs or out on the street?

Well as I mention in the report the street action is excellent now, at least during my July trip. Had a really good time with that. But I can't understand these raids and it is the first I am hearing about them. I will check my sources and post some additional information, if any, to AJ's report of raiding and why it may be happening.

This seems odd since Martinelli, the new President, is supposed to be extremely tourist, gambling and gringo friendly. Maybe the Mayor is a bible thumper and against Martinelli? Who knows? Internal struggles like this are common in Panama and they all deal with ego.

This is pure political bullshit. Mayor Bosco was looking to find some dirt on someone, but he apparently netted species of fish on both sides of the party line...now he is caught in a dilemma. If announces one name, then he must reveal the entire list.

Bosco announced that he will not reveal the names of the customers as he previously indicated, but instead will provide the names to President Martinelli to decide. (In other words, he basically took a big healthy shit and then asked Martinelli to wipe his ass).

As you said Elim, Martinelli is pro tourism, gambling, etc. I don't know his stance on the sex tourism industry.

Jet Set Elegance Center was the first raid (PG reported it is only 100 meters from Martinelli's residence).

Miami Club was the second. (Club Miami is Chinese mafia run. I don't know who runs Jet Set. I wonder if the Chinese mafia screwed something up to cause the raid or if Bosco is just raiding places at random. Maybe Bosco simply wants to raise the rent...which in turn will raise the rates we all must pay?)

I wonder where the third raid will happen?

If I was in Panama right now I'd go to Jet Set and Miami Club to do all my whoring (assuming their doors weren't closed). My guess is they won't be raided again so soon.

A friend of mine in the Panama Police told me they are trying to crack down on the Chinese Mafia in Panama, which as you know also owns/runs GT, Jet Set and many others we've all been to like the Oasis.

By cracking down, yeah, it probably means paying more rent or whatever kind of bribery fees to Panamanian Gov't officials like Martinelli and his stooge Bosco.

But since Prostitution is legal, they only raid to check for illegal drug activity, and illegals working in the sex industry. They were real big on this in 2006 and raided practically everything that year except the chinese whore houses; so its probably safe to conclude that Martinelli does not like the Chinese power in his backyard. Torreos tolerated it.

I'm going back soon to look for some new action. Just gave up my second big GFE relationship since it was becoming more tiresome than my marriage, and I believe I am going to use rentals for a good long while now in Panama.
