Preface

My trip to Southeast/East Asia lasted from the 14th of May until the 23rd of July approximately 70 days. The purpose of my trip was hobbying. I spent most of my time trying to learn about Indonesia, its language and culture. Because of Indonesian Visa restrictions I spent part of my time in Thailand, about twenty days.

I have been in Thailand before so the Thailand excursion wasn't a new adventure. Except for about a week I spent most of the Thai part of the trip in Pattaya with the same lady. This was a GFE experiment. Before I left Thailand my lady friend gave me the opportunity to send her a check every month. She mentioned this during a session so I told her I would. I lied.

I didn't take any pictures because I'm not an adept photographer.

Also, since I'm over 65 there weren't many multi sessions in a twenty-four hour period (except for Eve on the last day). I want to thank the pharmaceutical industry for their assistance during my trip.

I did a lot of research before I began my adventure. I want to thank all the individuals who have written trip reports on Indonesia I relied heavily on them before and during my trip.

This is my first Trip Report so there probably will be many errors which I alone am responsible. In Jakarta most of the venues I visited were within the walking range of the Sparks (except for the Sands Spa). .

Getting there

I began my odyssey on 12 May with a four hour flight from MSP to LAX. I regret taking Northwest Airlines. The service was terrible, no food, no headphones and the flight attendants were rude.

Next, was a 14 hour flight to Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific? The service was a lot better. They even had food and headphones.

The last leg of the trip was a four hour flight from Hong Kong to Jakarta.

At the Jakarta airport things started to go downhill after I got off the plane. At the VOA counter I ran into problems because my travel agent booked my arrival and my departure 73 days apart. I planned to make a side trip to BKK and return to CGK then spend two days in Hong Kong than back to the states. I told the VOA official that the travel agent made a mistake and he let me go after I gave him a "gift" (ten USD).
The next problem is when I went to the hotel reservation concession. From reading the trip reports of other Board members, I thought the concession made the reservation and I paid the hotel directly. But that isn't the way it worked, I had to pay the reservation guy $414 and he would only accept cash. Then I asked where I could find a Bluebird taxi. He told me he would take care of the transportation for $212. I know I should have insisted on a metered Taxi. I knew I was being ripped off but I was tired and just wanted to get to a hotel and get some sleep. I wanted to stay at the Sparks but they were full that day. So I got a room at Rekso Hayam Wuruk for one night before moving over to the Sparks for ten days.

I finally got to the hotel at 1500. Jakarta time. Since I'm 65 and a Diabetic I decided to let my body adjust to a new insulin schedule.

Sands Spa

I decided to investigate the Sands Spa since both of my masters, Xen and Murasaki, mentioned it in their trip Reports (TR's). Since I finally followed the advice in the TR's, I took a Blue Bird taxi to and from Managga Dua. I insisted on having an Indo lady do the massage. I was disappointed, I wasn't allowed to select the lady. But I really liked the lady I got. The lady was named Oh Lee. She offered me a HJ but I declined. I spent most of the day at Managga Dua, from ten in the morning until I got back to the Sparks at about 1600. I really like the Sands. Not only did I have a massage I also used the Sauna and whirlpool. The downside of my Sands experience are the pajamas they give you to wear (they don't fit old fat guys) and the slippers that they insist that you wear kept coming off my feet.
Financially, this set me back 432,200 IRP or about $41 USD.

Lokasari Plaza & TC

I finally found Lokasari Plaza. I was looking for it on the wrong side of the street. Evidently, I wasn't reading the trip reports carefully enough, sorry guys. I couldn't get to Today's Country (TC or Tiaria Ceria) through the Plaza mall so I had to walk around outside and up the stairs. On a later trip I "discovered" how to get to TC from inside the plaza.

As others have pointed out, the bar is very dark and noisy. It may be dark so that the patrons can't get a close look at the ladies faces but their physiques are clearly discernable. I arrived at 1400 and by 1530 the place was packed. The dancers were terrible. Just because the ladies wore skimpy costumes didn't enhance their dance ability. As the evening wore on the dance sets were staffed by fatties. I selected a spinner to have a session with. When we got into the room she wouldn't kiss and wanted an extra 100,000 IRP for me to eat at the Y. I declined. She was a starfish.

Financially, the cost was about $62 (USD). Rather expensive seafood.

Madona & Bintang Mewar

I went to both the Madona and Bintang Mewari (BM) Clubs. I arrived at the Madona Club a little after 1700 and it was dead. The club opens at 1500 but when I was there wasn't any talent available so I went down the street.

The Bintang Marwari was packed. Although there were a lot of fatties, some of the ladies were doable. I had a session with a lady named Amy. At the beginning of the session she told me no kissing but she changed her mind no DFK'ing only pecks, at least she wasn't a starfish. Financially, it set me back 175,000IRP plus I gave her a 50,000 tip. She told me I could lick her shoes for 100,000 IRP but I passed.

Stadium Disoteca

About 2000 I walked from the Sparks Hotel to the Stadium Discoteca at # 111 J.l. Hayam Wuruk. It is about a twenty minute walk. I enjoy nighttime walks going to different venues, absorbing the night ambience of Jakarta's street life. It cost me 70,000IRP to get into the Discoteca and 21,000 for a drink (coffee). I went to the fourth floor. There was quite a bit of talent on this floor. But I read in the Trip Reports that it the Stadium was a multi-level complex. So I wanted to see the fishbowl and other options but I wasn't able to communicate this to the Stadium staff. I decided to go to the third floor to look for the fishbowl. As soon as I got off the elevator on the third floor I was surrounded by doable ladies. I thought to myself that this is my kind of place. I decided to do a session with Naya. She definitely was not a starfish. One advantage of being an old guy is that it takes forever to cum and I enjoyed every second I had with Naya. I considered marrying her but that would be unfair to the other ladies and I still had to go to Thailand. I really appreciated that she let me dine at the Y. She was delicious. The session lasted approximately two hours. I gave her a 50,000 IRP tip and walked on air back to the Sparks. At the Sparks Hotel I considered going into their Discoteca but I knew I wasn't physically capable of doing another session so I called it a night.

Back to the Sands

I went back to the Sands Spa at Managga Dua Square. I tried to get the same masseuse that I had the last time. Either Oh Lee wasn't there or I wasn't able to communicate my request to the receptionist. My Indonesian language ability is non- existent and their English was about the same. So I asked for an Indo girl and hoped for the best. Also, I chose a "local room" because it was less expensive. I found out a few minutes later after we negotiated a maze like corridor what a local room was. A local room consists of a mattress on the floor and a curtain for a door. My masseuse was a lady by the name of Nia. After the massage she offered me a HJ, I was undecided for a few moments but I caved in. I insisted that she disrobe before the deed. She took off everything except her panties. At least this way I was able to have some foreplay. She did a HJTC but it wasn't as enjoyable as penetration. After the deed she wanted a 500,000 "tip." I gave her 300,000. I certainly won't get any more HJ's at the Sands!

Then I spent about three hours in the steam room and whirlpool. I really enjoyed watching a soccer game from the whirlpool.

Siera Club

I went to Siera Club because it was recommended by Master Xen in his Quickstart Guide to Jakarta and because it's just across the street from the Sparks Hotel. Anyway, when I went in there were a quite a few ladies but no guys. Actually, there weren't many doable ladies. Being the Good Samaritan I am and since it was Sunday I took one lady up stairs for some heart to heart counseling. First, I went through the selection process where they bring a drink and the Mamasan tentacolus displays the available talent. I would have liked to do the Mamasan but I didn't know if she was on the menu. I passed on quite a few of the candidates and in turn was rejected by one lady until eventually I selected my counselee. Return to Thailand

Today I left for the airport using a Blue Bird Taxi. It only cost me 100,000 IRP which is about 10 USD instead of $212USD that it cost me going to the hotel when I arrived in Jakarta. I had about an hour layover in KUL then it was on to Bangkok arriving at 1620. I intended to make sure this time to get a metered taxi. So I went to the stand outside the airport that said metered Taxi's only and paid the 50 THB fee and got into the taxi. On the way to the hotel I noticed that the taxi had no meter. I asked the taxi driver where the meter was. The driver told me "Outside Bangkok no need meter." The trip cost me a 1000THB including a tip. It took about a half hour, including a stop to get gas, to get from the airport to the Nana Hotel where I had reserved a room. The cost was about $ 42 USD.

It felt good to be back in Thailand where I spent 90 days in 2007 and know my way around. After getting settled into my room at the Nana, I went outside and got a SIM card then to one of the outside venders for dinner, a couple pieces of chicken and rice.

Monger Intell

Woke up early and well rested and was ready to start my Thailand adventure. First of all I used my complimentary breakfast coupon. Next, I went to an internet café to pay my June bills, such as my stateside rent, electric and internet bills. This cost 14 THB or 40 cents. Then on to the tailor I used the last time I was here. This cost me $550 USD with my first fitting Thursday. Then back to the Nana lobby to find out the current short time prices.

According to a lobby hobbyist, the price ranges depending on where you pull from. The standard price across the street at the go-go establishments (NEP) run about 2000 THB ($57 USD) plus the bar fine. The beer bars run about 1000 THB ($29 USD). In addition to a 300 - 350 THB bar fine. The freelancers range from 500 to 1000 THB and they expect a "tip" or "Taxi Money." The freelancers are everywhere around the Nana. They are so plentiful; you trip over them whenever you go anywhere. After my chores were completed I decided to search for my sweetie.

Eden Club

My sweetie's name is Noy and she works at the Eden Club on Sol 7/1. I suppose I should qualify that and she worked there in 2007 when I was here last.

The Eden Club is expensive; you can't just take one lady you have to take two or more ladies at a time.

At the club I met Marc who owns and manages the club. He asked me if I knew how the club operates referring to the lineup of the ladies which you pick from. IMHO this is a lot more civilized methodology then the Indonesian mamasan system.

I handed Marc the card Noy gave me the last time I was there with her name and number on it. I was lucky, she still works there and she was working. When she came out we gave each other hugs of happiness to see each other again after two years. I asked her to pick the other girl and she picked Anne. I had trouble keeping my hands off the two ladies in the bar. I wanted to do both of them right there in the bar. Somehow we managed to get to a room. The three of us gave each other showers before some serious mattress time. Noy is the lady who taught me to eat pussy. I told her I needed more lessons. I don't have a lot to say about my trip to Pattaya. We stayed at the Dina Hotel getting a very good rate. I suspect we got such a good rate is because she spoke Thai. Anyway we went to the beach every day while we were there. I learned a few things while there. Sleeping with the same woman every night sucks. She had very negative opinions of bargirls. I love them. After all I'm a handsome man. At least that is what the ladies tell me.

Return to Bangkok

I Returned to BKK in the morning of 17 June because I was tired of going to the beach every day. I purchased a necklace for Sondee, she wanted Thai Gold and the necklace she wanted cost 10,000 THB (285 UDA). I told her the most I could afford was 6,000 THB ($171 USD). She chose a necklace for 4,000 THB. I figured her services were worth at least $200 USD. I hoped she would go home when we returned to Bangkok. Apparently she intends to remain with me until I leave. I need to find a way to break away so I can go to the Eden Club and see Noy and Anne.

Back in Jakarta

I got talked into going to the Sparky Spa. That certainly was a costly error. The lady I had was named Rini. They have theme rooms for example: a schoolroom, a student dorm, or doctor patient exam room etc. The session was just so-so. She wouldn't kiss. I don't know what it is with the Indonesia ladies and their refusal to kiss on the lips. Anyway, she didn't allow much foreplay. I felt she took advantage of my lack of language proficiency to overcharge me. Later I talked to the manger and he reduced the price and told me he would give me a reduced rate the next day. I told him that I would try it again but before I do I want him to explain how the prices are determined. The cost for the session was 800, 00 IRP ($78.46). My recommendation today is to stay clear of this facility if you don't want to get ripped off. I went back to the Spa the next day and had the manager explain the pricing methodology before I had another session. I was set up with a lady named Lisa who was terrible, worse than the previous day. I didn't complete the session. I just got dressed and left. I didn't see the manager (Henry) when I left so I filled out a comments card letting the Hotel know how dissatisfied I was. One of the other manager's joined me for breakfast a few days later and I told her how upset I was over the poor service I received at the Spa.

Jakarta Bombings

On Friday 17 July the Ritz-Carlton and Marriott were bombed.

Hotel Travel (Next Day)

At 1930 I finally went to Hotel travel. The place is huge. When I went in I was asked if I wanted a message or just to make love. I chose the latter. The ladies sit on sofas that line the walls of a huge bar/disco. I didn't see any dancing just a big screen TV showing Rock videos. As you pass the bar you are greeted by a mamasan. I was a little shocked because the first lady the mamasan set me up with was a hottie by the name of Eve. She was so good that I am going to have session with her tomorrow afternoon. She was a fantastic kisser with a lot of DFK and got me off both vaginally and orally. We exceed the time limits of an hour so we had to rush at the end of the session. The session cost me 312,000 plus I gave the lady 120,000 tip. I know I over tipped her, I going to see her tomorrow night my last night in Jakarta.

Last night. I planned to have one session with Eve but I spent six hours with her. I had to have enough pussy to last until I return to Jakarta. I hope I live long enough for at least one more trip. God, I do love Jakarta so. Four hours later my plane left Indonesia for Hong Kong than the States.

Holy Crap. You say you love Jakarta, but after reading your report I can't figure out why? You got repeatedly ripped off and severely underserved.

1) Please tell me that the airport taxi was 212K rupiah, and not $212 US as it states in your report? Actually, Jakarta is one of the least rip off places, but the airport taxis is one of the pitfalls. However, I posted many times on how you walk outside the terminal and there is a big Silverbird stand at curbside. Bluebird are also curbside but there sign in as obvious. Repeat never ever let some one at the airport set up your transportation for you. Go to the curbside and only take Silverbird, Bluebird, or Express. These are well labeled and honest.

2) Hotel, I have also posted many times about using the KAHA counter for hotel reservations (did you use them outside baggage claim, or did you use the Indotel counter inside baggage claim.) As I have posted before you can prepay for just a night or two too make sure the hotel is ok for you. Then you can call KAHA and they will come to you to pick up payment for additional days. 400k for Sparks doesn't seem like too good a deal to me. I am curious why you would focus on staying at Sparks, when you could have stayed at the Mercure rekso for about $5 more a night? You are still within walking ditance of all the places that your are with Sparks, and you get probably 1.5* more in hotel quality.

3)How do you spend over 400K for a simple massage at Sands? Once again I have posted extensively about Sands here, and I even given a bunch of well tested and reviewed numbers for you to try. No need to take a VIP room unless you are gonna fuck the girl. Massage will cost 150-180 and tip 50-100K for massage and massage with happy ending. I have no idea why you are having such problems with tipping and pricing, it's all straight forward and I have detailed it here? ALso, if you are willing to fork out 400K for a massage go to some pimped out place like Delta or another Hot Stone Place, where they provide experience and facilities to match that price.

4) No DFK and no DATY? These are pretty much staples in Jakarta sessions along with BBBJ. I have NEVER heard of anyone having the difficulties you are with this. Perhaps you are trying to negotiate these things before hand? This is probably either turning the girls off or tipping them that they can give you less and ask for more. Jakarta isnt some tourist destination like Pattaya were you need to specify details. Jakarta is based upon repeat local clientele and the basics are basics and known well by both parties.

5)TC's how do you spend over 600K for a ST here. Entry is 30K (which gets you a drink) and the fee is 250K (maybe it's gone up to 300K) for the room, then a tip of 50-100k depending on how good the girl is. As noted in some of my other reports, If a girl doesn't perform basic tasks like kissing or DATY, change out the girl. It's not a problem and when you suggest that almost all problematc girls enthusiastically get with the program. I can't understand how you let these girls just walk all over you? I can only imagine how they chop you in LOS if you are just as soft there?

6)You Bintang Mawar experience doesn't seem right. There you pay 85K or 95K for the room and then directly tip the girl and min of 180K. Typicall I tip 200-250k (and occasional 300K) based upon performance. You didn 't get ripped off at all here, but I am sure the girl was pissed you shorted her and that perhaps why she suggested you lick her shoes.

7)Sparks Spa, I was just shaking my head at how you go back the very next day to a place that left you feeling royally ripped off. It's not like there aren't a ton of mid to high end massage places right near Sparks. Many of which I have posted about such as Grand Comfort, Comfort Batu Tulis, Beverly Hills, Classic, Marioboro, etc...

8)Travel, glad you finally that place and you had a good session at the right price.

I sense that your really reluctant to take taxi's in Jakarta and insist on being with walking distance of venues. This has resulted in you missing many fantastic places that are less than a $2 taxi ride from any of the major hotels around Kota. Also, I just can't figure out why you are getting screwed so bad on prices in most places when the prices are fixed, well posted here by myself and others, and almost universally offered up to Bules no questions asked. If I had the Jakarta holiday you described in your report I wouldn't ever be back.

MX makes good observations which I agree with. There is always a "newbie tax" (and I avoided most by having MX around usually ) but heeding his recs may save you further headaches and your wallet. The only taxis I take (even from the airport) are Bluebirds Taxi's, never had a problem with them.

One thing to know about TC's is that I've noticed more FLs that charge more than the bargirls. The freelancers were asking for 400K ST, which is laughable. The bargirls will stick to the 250k rate.

Thanks for taking the time to put the report together and I'm glad you found my reports of use. That's what this board is all about. I do have many of the same questions MX had, so I won't repeat what he said. But hopefully our feedback will help you in your future trips, and save you $$$.

First, did you pay 212 US dollars for the cab ride, or 212,000 rupiah? If you paid that in US, then the driver just made two months of wages with your ride, and the ripoff of the year.

It is very hard to find Bluebirds at the international arrivals terminal. I always use the Silverbird from there, which is the premium brand of Bluebird (they use Mercedes cars). It's a little more expensive, but worth it. When you exit the building, walk to the curb and go left. After a while, you should see some ropes, with a little stand that says "Silverbird" and an attendant. If there is no car sitting there, just wait. Tell the guy "Silverbird" and the name of your hotel. They'll get you a car. The premium airport surcharge and tolls will be added to the metered amount when you get to the hotel, so don't freak out when they tell you it's more than what you see. According to my notes, last December my Silverbird to the Novotel ran me 140,000 rupiah, roughly 14 dollars.

A standard tip for a HJ at Sands, etc. is 50,000 rupiah. 5 bucks. If they let you grope the boobs, disrobe, etc., then 100-150 k is warranted, depending on performance.

I'm amazed you got a 2 hour session at Stadium. This being the case, 50k was definitely an undertip. At minimum it should have been 100k, better 150-200 since she went so long over and rocked your world. Figure on average 50k tip per hour of session for most joints. And of course be generous if she rocked your world.

Regarding the Bangkok taxi driver, you were ripped off. All taxis are required to have and use meters in Bangkok, and from the airport to the city. The total cost including highway tolls is usually around 200-220 baht.

Rare is the day when I encounter a driver there who tries to negotiate, and doesn't immediately use the meter. When I do, I just say meter, and if he doesn't agree, I move to get out. Just doing that usually makes them relent. If they don't, simply get out and grab another cab.

Hmmmm should I go to Indonesia where the girls won't kiss, or go to the Philippines where every girl I meet wants to eat my face off? Tough call. I think I know where I will go.
