When I booked my flight I wanted to return on Saturday. If I returned on Thursday it was about $300 cheaper. Checked a couple of times before I left, hoped the price would come down. Just couldn't justify the extra money. Lan Chile has an office on Jose Pardo. Few blocks from the hotel. Went in to see if I could change my flight. No problem getting to Miami. Everything from Miami to Regan or Dulles is full. Saturday after Thanksgiving no surprise. I really wanted to stay the extra days, asked the girl if she could change my flight to Miami, print the tickets for both legs of the trip. $177 fee, only changing one flight so price was lower. Fly standby in Miami. Flying standby on one of the busiest travel days of the year. FYI, the airlines use a priority system for standby passengers. Sale price tickets go to the bottom. Stupid? Actually somewhere between rolling the dice and a calculated risk from a tip I heard about a couple of years ago.
Getting close to my deadline for my trip. Narrowed down the phone calls to one number. August I was with two girls named Karen. Have an e-mail address that's Karen_ with a last name. My local buddy called and we were to meet at the hotel around 8PM. Going to see if I can put this kid to work for me. Changed my mind and decided to head to La Comar for dinner and maybe spot something. Somehow I lost his phone number and left a message at the front desk. Mann44 gave me a good tip. He e-mails a lot of information like this to himself. If you use hotmail, yahoo or a similar service the information is stored on their servers. You can retrieve it from anywhere. First time the hotel let me down, never forwarded the message. Felt I stood him up. Eventually heard he had a date that night, but would have been nice to get him started on investigating.
Off to Tequila Rock, of course via Pizza Alley and Kennedy Park. Approached by a young lad, Chica? Remember the first day disaster, which could have been worse? Same approach, but gave him a chance. Price started off at $30 for an hour. Why should I pay $30 for an hour? I'm heading to Tequila Rock and can get a gal for $40 to $50 for the entire evening. Of course his girls were much prettier than those gals. Passed and started to walk away, OK maybe he can talk one of the girls into $40 for the entire evening. Of course big flag, price came down to easy. Have the girls come here and I'll choose one and give the others taxi money for their time. No theses girls don't like to be seen in public, they are in a private apartment a couple of blocks away. Enough said and headed towards Tequila Rock. Did meet a sweet thing and phone number for future use.
Walked into Tequila Rock and BINGO!!! "The one that got away" August while leaving, with company of course, a sweet, hot looking blonde entered. Waiting and hoping she would show up again. No matter what city or country you put this gal in she could run with the best. Surprised she wasn't working for a high dollar agency. Never did chat with her, but that was fine. As the night went on I realized she was a real hard-core pro. Chatted with numerous guys, young and old alike. I left around 4AM and she was still alone, to my knowledge never left. Surely asking a high price and won't budge. Would still like to know what her price was.
Many girls but still not to the level I was accustomed to. Still low pressure. Saturday night Tequila seems to be more pros and even locals bringing their wives and girlfriends there to party. The prices I was quoted was like sticker shock. Two hours for $150 American. $100 all night, much higher than I had or was willing to pay. At 2AM it was like someone turned on a switch. The local guys came rolling in. Suddenly almost all the girls who had not moved or spoken to anyone all night knew everyone who walked thru the door. Theses guys were drewling over them. Sad part, it was the girls I would pass even if they were free. But to each their own.
Before I knew it I felt as if I was trolling for a gold fish in a sea of piranhas. Real disappointing but not giving up hopes yet. Kept looking moving around. Spotted two girls setting in the back corner by themselves and headed over. For the first time both girls English was good and showed it right away. One gal was real cute and the other maybe. Couple of drinks, chatted. Really took a liking to one gal. Plan B? This is the type of gal I would love to getaway with. Sweet, young (26) no kids, surely hard bodied. Good English, not willing to tip my hand too quick. Chatted about her work, hours of her work, days off, able to get days off? Couldn't afford it. Guess that won't work out. She excused herself and left for the bathroom. Asked her friend if she thought it was possible Heliania would mind spending the night with a really nice guy from the US. It was possible. Upon her return they whispered between themselves. One more drink. I'm really tired and ready to leave. Would you like to accompany me to my hotel? Much to my delight... OK. Off we went. No talk about price or time, big chance but will see what happens. Waiting near the exit, while she retrieved her jacket the gal who wanted $150 American for two hours walked by. Leaving? Yes! Apology for the high price but would join me and wanted $70 American for the entire night. Still expensive, if I see her later and the price lowers a bit will certainly take her up on her offer. FYI, $70 American seems to be the standard starting point for negotiations. Wonder now, maybe my thoughts of being full of pros might be off. I might have chosen a couple of girls who were hoping to find an uninformed American.
Big part I hate about Lima. The young kids will beg and beg and not quit! It takes about 5 to 8 minutes to walk from Tequila Rock to the hotel. At first must have been 10 kids, 5 or 6 never quit until we were at the hotel. They get so focused on the begging they have no idea what is going on around them. Twice I had to grab one and pull her off the road as a car was coming. Then again it also went over big with the gal I was with.
Once in the room it moved like nothing more than a fella that picked up a one-night stand and she had no problem with that.
