Arrived today from Los Angeles. Found a ticket last week on American Airlines for $314. With airport taxes, and all the other crap thrown in the total was $about $375.

There are three ways to get here from Los Angeles. You can fly non-stop on Copa, but you have to leave LAX about 1 AM. The other two ways are Continental, or Armerican. I have flown this route on Copa before, and I found it very uncomfortable, and their planes are always jammed full.

The American flight is LAX to Miami, but you leave LAX at 8 AM (at least that is the time I left), and you get here at 8:30 PM ready to monger.

Getting trough the airport was easy, and getting a taxi was easy, but expensive. The taxi from the airport to the Hotel was expensive, about $30.

As previously stated, Panama is not cheap.
