Was at Oxygen Retreat Sept 12-17 with 9 of my buddies. An absolute blast and cannot wait to go back.
Flew into POP. They have a driver waiting for you at the airport. Smooth transition and 25 minute ride to the resort.
Upon arrival the host/manager/owner greets you and explains the layout of the club, how to use your coupons and settles your balance. Here is how it works:

Based on your package you are give two or three coupons each day for the girls. You have two (or three) 2 hour sessions plus an overnight session each day. All meals and open bar are also included as well as tip coupons for the girls.

There were 27 girls there for my group of 10.

After the checkin I went to my room (beautiful room with jacuzzi and super king bed)took a quick shower and change. I came out to the Tiki Bar where most of the introductions were made. Within about 15 minutes I had two girls engaged in a game of my broken spanish vs their broken english. 15 more minutes and we were back in my room. The next two hours were a blur of me on her/her on her/her and her on me. DFK, DATY,CIM all standard. The DR Latinas are so full of passion,fun and a zest for life.

The girls were all 7-10 in appearance in 9-10 in performance

This type of session was repeated again and again over my 4 night stay. I sessioned 4 times a day and was with 8 different girls.

Each night went like this: After dinner they would turn the restaurant into a strip club. About 5 girls would be chosen to do solo strip shows on a stage with a pole. The finale would have two chicas in a lesbian show complete with strap ons. Very real and hot.We would then all go (yes 27 girls and 10 guys) to the tiki bar and drink for the next couple of hours where the girls would get very playful dancing on the bar and shaking their beautiful asses to the latin beat. After that we would all go into the outdoor jacuzzi and hang out there for a while. Of course all the chicas went topless. Following this party you take your overnight chica selection and off you go. Paradise!
The resort itself is very nice and clean with 2 pools, jacuzzi, tiki bar,restaurant,tennis court,basketball court, gym,sauna, hookah pipe room. It holds 19 guests max.
The place is not cheap bit in my opinion well worth it.Packages range about $800-$1000 day all inclusive.I know its not for everyone but for those of you who want everything under one roof with top level talent this is the place.

So the girls, I assume these are local freelancers that show up for lineups or some imported / indentured talent mixed in? Do the ones not picked head back to streets, clubs, brothels? Or, are all required to hang around and then just paid out later according to the amount of 'work' they did with the non-picked ones getting a little cash for being available?

Not to sound too cynical, but was your group hit hard for an end of stay big tip?

Does Oxygen Retreat go by any other names? Sometimes these places do this and not odd to find the same all-inclusive marketed differently but, being the same place. (or quicky name changes for that matter)

You are right, not for everyone. I got my start at this type operation in Venezuela several years back, dipped my toes into the operations, and declined an invite to come on board. It probably does work best in your scenario with a group of guys in which many of them would not be comfortable doing a traditional monger scene. This one looks to be towards the upper end of the market in price. Still probably works out the range of what each would have spent individually taking a woman from home on a tropical vacation for the income level you guys are likely at... but much more fun and memories this way.

For the operations end... hell yes, they charge a premium on what one could do on their own with a little research. It is tough to keep payroll and availability of base staff during bad weeks (months). Proprietors and on-site manager by definition are a bit shady. Marketing is a bitch. Some customers will be awful to deal with. They all end up over promising everyone to include staff, girls, and customers whether it is their intention or not. They must work a little psychological game to make the customer feel they needed them and what they provide is a good value and a supposed safety net so that they get repeats, referrals, and nice little reports posted online like this.

Sorry to near thread jack your report, but experience tells me here some may shit on the whole thing and say this is out of the realm of what this board is for. These operations really do have their place and the prices seem do look outrageous on the surface. That being said, this is just another niche in market.

Jesus guys, give him a break.

He went on a vacation, spent a lot of money, had a great time, and came here to share it with us.

He said himself that he knows that it is not for everyone... take what you like and just leave the rest.

But to tell the guy that he did everything wrong just because he did something different from how most of us would go on a vacation is just not fair. Keeper made some excellent points as to who this resort's customer base is, and speaking as someone who has taken people on mongering trips (some of them to whom money was no object), they probably would have had a better time at this Oxygen place.

And besides, we want to encourage people to write trip reports, not beat them up.

Fletch1964, thanks for your report. Although -- for me -- since finding them is almost as much fun as screwing them, I probably won't follow in your footsteps. But it's good to hear about a different option.

I will agree that he doesn't deserve criticism for his choices. Going first class is no crime at all...

It would be one thing if he went to the Del Rey and took a girl who normally gets $100, and paid her $500.

But... The man chose to go the first class option and we should thank him for sharing his info.

Look at Fletch's profile, he's done these all-inclusives a number of times. It's not a route I would take, it's far too expensive and I wonder if it's value for money, but as Fletch says it's not for everyone.

Does anyone know how many all-inclusive's there are? I know that there are quite a few in the DR, the more expensive ones having the imported talent.

Thanks for the report, Fletch. I appreciate hearing about all the options out there. I don't think there's a need to get worked up over how much another guy spends to have fun. Some people stay at the Holiday Inn Express and some choose to stay at the Four Seasons. Both choices are fine by me. It's their money, not mine. As Jonesie correctly noted, it's not like the guy went to TJ and paid $250 per hour for Adelita girls. As to whether he got his money's worth? Only Fletch can answer that, and he seems to have had a pretty fuckin' good time.

For some guys, the bang per buck ratio is the most important factor in their travels, but others are willing to pay a significant premium for the elimination of all hassles. Both groups of guys are, in the end, out there to have fun. I know that I would not enjoy many features of an all-inclusive, so I don't go. But I have friends who love those types of places, and they don't have any less a good time than I have on my trips. They may pay more, but so fucking what? I try never to lose sleep over how someone else chooses to live their life, spend their time, and spend their money.

I full well expected some of the backlash regarding the costs of this trip. Thanks largely to all of you expert mongerers I am completely in tune to the cost of a pay for play vacation in places like the DR and CR. In fact I have done Sosua a few times solo (not for about 8 years now) picking up girls in bars and clubs for $50 sessions or $100 all nighters and staying at $50/day hotels and eating $10 meals. With a decent amount of chica activity I was spending about $300-$350 a day all inclusive(hotel,chicas,food,alcohol,touristy stuff,cabs etc)I had a very good time. I would say it was an overall 8 experience. In the end I estimate that it costs me about $600 day more at Oxygen (yes Keeper that is the correct web site)For me it is money well spent for an overall 10 experience

I have been to Viking, Charlis Angels, Xotic Beach house. There is also Exotic Retreat in the DR which I have not been to. Again, FOR ME, I have found them all more enjoyable and worth the money than the traditional mongerer experience

To answer some questions- These girls are mostly recruited from local clubs/bars/university in Santiago and Santo Domingo. The resort opened in 2006 and now word of mouth from chica to chica does a lot of the recruiting as they are apparantly paid well and well taken care of with better accommodations and food then they have at their own homes. The resort promises at least a 2-1 ratio so they only keep as many girls as they have reservations for. Typically there are 5- 10 guest there at one time.(it holds 19 max)

The purpose of writing my report was not to try and convince the CH community that you guys are too cheap and getting an inferior product. Absolutley not! In fact I admire the sense of adventure you have in vacationing in these third world countries and winging it. I just prefer to go this route and understand that it will cost me about $2500 more for my 5d/4n vacation. I also do not believe that it is an apples to apples comparison.
The purpose of my report was just to share with the CH community. I have learned so much from all of you that I am happy to give some back. If you want to use my report to see how ridiculous some guy is for spending that kind of money than do so
For the record I do think about Jonesie's Cuba adventures about once a day and dream about doing that one day

So out of all the resorts in the DR, and it seems like there are quite a few. Which one did you like the best, and why?

Currently my favorite is Oxygen. Not that the others are bad but O2 does it best. First of all the resort itself is really nice,clean and comfortable. Also the food is delicious and prepared whatever you want whenever you want it. Also open bar top shelf liquor.
Of course the #1 reason why it is my favorite is the girls. The other resorts work on a model that you get choose one girl and you can change after 24 hours. At O2 you can change 2/3/4 time a day if you wish. Also all of the girls are always at the resort so even when you are with your girl there are so many other chicas just hanging out in bikinis (or less) as great eye candy.

Just to clarify...that is some brutal pricing... for me...

No question it would be interesting to partake in the creme de la creme set up and hopefully the high quality chica interaction as well. I have no doubt that one day I will partake and who knows? It may become my preferred way.

Hey Fletch it's nice to see you're sampling the finest hobby experience available in the carribean again. The DR is truly and idyllic location, and if you say Oxygen is better than the Viking Resort - I believe ya.

The arrangements at Oxygen do in fact sound better to me than Viking; being able to get as many classy, beautiful women as you want in a day sounds far better than the 1 chica/day system at Viking.

Let me know the next time you're planning to go to Oxygen - it sounds tempting, and if business keeps picking up I may just join ya!

I am of the philosophy that; I don't want to go to the grave saying I wished I had did this or that but didn't because of the money. Especially since I can afford it.

I'll be at BlackBeards again on 12/30 for a week spending my approx $150-200 a day on Bitches, booze, and billets. I'm surprised more of us cheap fuckers aren't just enthralled with this alternative. I have cleared my calendar for a pay for play trip in Jan but have not decided yet where to go.I'll be researching over the next couple of months. Of course using all of your experiences as my guide. Rest assured wherever I go I will report.

Also will be taking my group of 10+ back to Oxygen in August 2010 for our annual pilgrimage. The resort can hold 19 so if anyone is interested let me know. In my opinion these trips are best enjoyed with a like minded group. I don't think the smile left my face for the entire 5 days.

I have been to the Dominican Republic several times but never to an all inclusive resort. I have mongered in the beach town of Boca Chica and the nearby towns of La Roman and San Pedro de Macori. Also mongered in Santo Domingo and Santiago and journey to the far side of the Island to Las Vegas. So I am familiar at least with the various types of Dominicanas the island can offer up.

So as far as Oxygen being the best all inclusive, in your opinion, I was wondering what you think the average age group of the girls is and if many are in the 18/19 year old range. And what is the ratio of dark since girls to light skinned girls?

Since you mentioned CIM in your arrival session, is BBBJ & CIM the norm or an option?

Do the girls ask or expect any additional tips or since it is all inclusive that they are not allowed to ask? This would annoy me if they did since I am already paying a premium for all inclusive. I had read in some previous reports of guys tipping on a regular bases up to $100 which makes no sense to me then to go all inclusive.

Lastly, are the girls photo friendly? This would be a real deal breaker for me if they were not.

Since the DR has sort of evolved into a shithole venue with lousy pics of fat girls, etc, I would say the All Inclusive trip with stunners has some appeal.

Yeah other places may be cheaper/better, but I think Club Hombre needs reports of the best options in each country.

Phew...pricey. But thanks Fletch, it is good to know these types of places are available, without CH, I probably wouldn't think to look for one. That's whats good about a site like this, one can find options from the $20 casa in el Centro Medellin, to something like this. Probably would want to try it once, just for the experience, but I can see where it can become rather addictive.

Let me chime in here with my two cents. If I had the cash I'd buy a Ferrari, but I don't so I take care of my 1992 Honda Accord. Do I need such an old car, is money that tight?

Nope. But instead of paying a $200/month car note, I'm saving money to do things like Fletch here. Why not? You only live once. If I had to take a stab at it, I would guess that Fletch may have more money than time and that's when this makes sense.

I've read reports here about guys going to the PI for 3 days only. Let's see, suppose you got a deal on a ticket for $750. That's still $250 a day to be there. You may get a room at Pacific Breeze for $50/night. Nice place, but no resort. $200 a day barhopping/multiple bar fining complete with hassles for lady drinks, beggars, wondering if you'll be shot at the money exchange booth at 10 in the morning, like that poor bastard from Malyasia was in June. My favorite one, after flying for 18 hours + layovers, a hotel that imposes a joiner fee or doesn't have your reservation. You're paying $500/day in this scenario and your honeyko won't give head because she's afraid of Jesus or something. Come on.

At this resort there's none of that it seems. So it may be worth it considering what you get just as much as what bullshit you don't get. I'm glad you had fun Fletch

The girls were 18-22 mostly with a couple of 24 year olds. Certainly enough 18s 19s.

The skin color thing facinates me. They are all over the place. About half had that beautiful cafe con leche color. A few were very light and fewer were very dark.

BBBJ is standard. All of my girls did and every one of the 27 girls there did. I know this because between me and my 9 buddies we did them all at one point or another. From my experience and what I heard from my friends about half on them CIM. If there is something that you want from a chica you can ask the manager in advance who will do what. Again DFK,BBBJ, DATY, multiple pops are standard. CIM,greek are available but ymmv.
I completely agree with you about tipping and so does Oxygen. There is a strict no cash tipping rule at the resort. They give you tip coupons that come with your package. if you think a chica has gone above and beyond you can give her one. I think they turn them in for $10. You get 6 per day if I remember correctly.
Almost all of the girls allow bikini photos. My brother too a few and I am still waiting for them

You have hit on my personal philosophy for this wonderful hobby.
I build in my pay for play into my annual budget and set aside for a certain amount. I used to spend some of my budget on local hourly sessions. I cut those out to allocate more on trips outside the US. Based on what I have learned about costs from all of you if I can go on 2-5 trips/year of about 5days/4nights in duration. Obviously the more I spend on each trip the less trips I can go on. So now I go on two/year. I found that I'd rather spend more on each trip and improve quality and reduce hassle even though it would mean fewer trips.

Obviously it's not going to be for everyone, that being said i'm not sure if its actually all that bad a deal for an inexperienced monger or a guy looking for a change of pace. Comparing to Rio (since I know that location reasonably well) lets compare a bit...

1) Accommodations

Normally anything you get will suck unless you actually book a room at a VIPs type local (which I did once). So you have to give the nod to the resort here I think...certainly if you look at pricing for "premier" hotels in Rio your getting into serious $$$.

2) Food

I happen to love Rio in that regard but hanging out with sweet (RIP) and company back in the day was never all that cheap. Viewing the limited menu I'd give Rio a big edge in quality...if you normally go higher end...compared to terrico etc I'd tend to call it a wash...

3) Logistics

Hands down to the resort

Obviously to Rio, but viewing a 3 coupon+overnight (penthouse) lets look at that...

I'll give a $350 room credit and a $50 food credit so viewing the $1300 special that leaves $900.

So taking 2 4x4 sessions ($R450 out the door with drinks etc)$260 US and one MC/L/Sol session your probably at about $450 or so...add in cab fares etc and I'd guess your at $500 for 3 sessions of terma play...more if you hit C or stick to MC etc vs 4x4...all this is standard rate...upgrading to longer sessions/suites/dupla's push pretty close to that $900 mark if the redbull starts flowing.

I never had any issues pulling terma gals for overnights at great rates so additional pricing is marginal in my mind...but drama factors are always possible...and help or other venues create great potential bargains...or headaches. Can't go to the well all that often without some drama...

So if the pics are accurate and the gals willing 3 x 2 hrs + overnight isn't off by all that much (few hundred $$ a day)if you agree with what I laid out. My curiosity would be value of "tip" coupons...I'd be angling for the occasional BBBJ etc with gals you'd built a chemistry with...

The lower the Real drops the less offensive that pricing is...not ready to sign up but not opposed to the possibility at least one time. The days of doing Rio right for $500/day are gone for now...as soon it pushes to $1000/day this place isnt that far out of line.
