I took off from Newark Airport around 10pm. The key advantage of the night flight is that its much easier to take a long nap. I had a time-release 5 mg Melatonin tablet in my pocket and was able to nap for a time. Then I woke up to find we had landed. We were not in Bangkok though, but Anchorage, Alaska. The next leg was another several hours to Taiwan and then several more hours over to Bangkok.
In the past I flew Cathay Pacific. I found there was much more leg room on this flight and it was a big difference. In the past, I would scrunch up into a ball for hours and hours. It was never a pleasing experience.
At the Bangkok airport, I noticed a few ways of getting through the airport that might be useful to some of the readers of this journal. When you get off the plane, jog down to the Immigration/Customs area. Get past as many people as possible. The Boeing 777 I was on had at least 300 people aboard and the immigration/customs area people do not work very fast.
When you have cleared the customs area, go to the lowest level of the airport. I mistakenly was on the second level of the airport and finally found the escalator going to the first level. On the first level, look for the number 7 posted above the revolving doors leading to the outside. As you face the 7, to your left you will find the bus carriers that will take you to Pattaya.
I arrived at the Diana Inn sometime around 3pm. The main problem with the room is the noise. Those who have stayed in certain hotels in Angeles City, like the Hotel Royal Amsterdam, know there is a little noise that comes in through the windows. The noise at the Diana Inn in Pattaya is about 3 to 4 times greater then the Royal Amsterdam. In fact, this reminded me of being in an office trailer at a busy construction site. The noise was that bad. You will have to be a very heavy sleeper to get any sleep here. I will be going around today trying to find a new place to stay. I don't think I can tolerate this much longer.
In walking around, the 500-700 baht hotels are similar to the Diana Inn. All of them are challenged by the noise on the streets and none I have seen are that well built. The room door at the Diana Inn does not have a deadbolt and the room door is made of the cheapest wood I have seen. I could wrap my fist in a towel and punch through the door. Anyone could get through this door with one good kick.
Beware of the hotels in Pattaya. They all have little tricks of extracting money out of you. Scrutinize the bill carefully and talk everything out at the front desk. NEVER PLACE DOWN A DEPOSIT WITH ANY HOTEL. Do not be insulted if the hotel finds a way to get more money out of you. All of the hotels seem to be like that here and you are the one that has to protect yourself in that regard.
There are so many hotels, bars and girls here that if you feel like you are not getting the best deal then pick yourself up and leave immediately. Don't press the issues, just leave and find someplace else.
The main problem in Pattaya is English. Everyone seems to know little phrases and words of English, but nothing more then that. It was impossible to carry on even a basic English conversation with anyone that I met. This is especially challenging with the women. In Angeles City, you can use a little charisma and persuasion to get what you want through conversation. For example, I found that if a woman was resistant about picture taking in Angeles, I could use a some charm to eventually convince the women. This is not the case here. Do not bother taking the women to dinner or breakfast, because they will not be able to carry on a conversation. You will find yourself looking at them blankly with no real conversation. (Swiss Chalet in Angeles City by the way is soundproof and the place is owned by an engineer)
Here is my first woman of the trip. I was not so selective as I was very dreary from the trip in. I am still suffering from 12 hours of jet-lag and it has taken a toll upon myself. Jet-lag has been the most challenging aspect for me on these trips.
I wanted to get naked shots, but I could not speak to the woman in English so much. As I was tired, I did not feel like finding a way to get the shots I wanted. However, I will find more ways tonight.
I was wondering if I should post the names of the ladies or where I found them or of the quality of action. I am not so worried about the guys on this board approaching them later on, but I am worried about a bar or hotel owner terminating a woman if I post up some negative commentary. I dont want to see anyone losing their job on account of me. Therefore, I will only post positive commentary on the ladies.
Actually, many of these women would love for you to find and barfine them. It doesnt seem like there are too many guys here right now and the ladies look like they could use the cash.
This lady is named Aef and can be found at the Secrets Go-go. I was very pleased with Aef as she was a good sport about everything. We walked about 7 blocks back to the Diana where I was obviously lost most of the time. She walked with me and did not seem frustrated with my lack of direction. During the night, we had multiple sessions and she was very loud. I am certain someone heard her outside and in the other rooms through the paper thin walls at the Diana Inn.
The only issue with this lady, as with all of the Thai people I have met here so far, is English. No one seems to understand what I am saying and basic conversation is impossible. Despite the issues of English, Aef had no problem accomodating me with what I wanted. She left at 9am the next morning as was agreed. I was pleased with this action.
Underneath her clothes was a killer body which was a key selling point for me at the Go-go. Very slender with no obvious signs of fat. Aef is 22 years old and has no kids (many of the women I have met so far have kids as evidenced by the wider hips and skin marks on their legs).
The key test for me is what I call the Viagra test. If I need Viagra to get hard for a woman, then I am probably not attracted to them. Seeing Aef dance around in the skimpy outfit at Secrets was all I needed and so she passed that critical test of chemistry.
Next time, I will get nude photos. Also, I am a little jet-lagged, so please excuse my writing style right now and any errors you see.

What was the barfine and tip for Aef? She almost looks a little Eurasian, and quite fair skinned.
Why are you afraid that giving the bad with the good is gonna get a girl fired? It seems like these places are chronically looking for girls to work. Posting only the good and not the bad, would could possibly mismanage the expectations of those who follow in your footsteps. Something you got a bit peeved about.

Keep it running Port..
The bad is good to note and part of what makes ClubHombre a good home-base is the brutal honesty in the reports and chats. Most of the venue specific boards are full of 'everything is great, this is the only place I go or plan to visit' guys, thinly veiled posting by people with financial ties flooding the postings, or burnt out ex-pats bitching about how everything was so much better and cheaper X number of years ago.
Thanks for noting the language difficulties you are having. To what level are they? (I know that is hard to quantify) Basic transactions and questions like prices, numbers, hotel, directions OK? Gives me some incentive to put some more time in working on some basic conversation. Hoe to pick up a tactic or two for my cherry Patts trip upcoming.

In my experiences back in America, I have learned never to trust "management". I've been burned quite a bit in past jobs getting thrown under the bus by owners and managers despite working as hard as I could. I know sometimes it takes just one complaint to get the firing process rolling. When I left for here, I had some blood tests taken at Labcorp and was given a card to rate the service. To be honest, the service at Labcorp could have been better, but I rated the entire experience 5 stars because I did not want some manager using the poll as leverage to fire the employee who was working there. So I don't want that same experience being placed upon anyone else knowing that its been thrown down on me.
What I will do is make general negative remarks not referring to any particular woman which should balance the good and bad...
The barfine for Aef seemed rather high. 1000 barfine + 2000 baht for long-time. However, I discovered that other go-gos are much more expensive. She was a good sport and let me go as many times as I wanted. She stayed until 9am exactly as was agreed. The quality of girls at Secrets seemed a little better then the other go-gos and the ladies seemed to be having fun. I noticed at the Living Dolls the women were not smiling and it seemed as if they might not have been treated as well.
I honestly had no complaints with Aef. Very slender body...maybe a 24 inch waist, size zero. I could pick her up with ease. I know the filipinos would start complaining after long multiple pounding sessions, but she seemed to be a good sport about long multiple sessions.
I am finding it impossible to conversate with the women. Anything I say is not understood or not understood in the same context. I did find the Google translator on-line which has helped a little, but I can't carry the laptop around with me. It might be worth it to spend some time learning Thai. If you do not know Thai, then you are basically out of luck getting to know any of the ladies.
However, all of the ladies seemed to know the deal. For example, here is the money, lets go back to the hotel, kiss, sex, kiss, sex some more and then leave in the morning. You dont have to direct them in that regard;)
Communicating with the hotel staff seems just as difficult. They wanted to charge me the other day for the free breakfast. The internet works only on occasion and the air condition is not working.
I think if you are going to go with the sub-1000 baht hotel routine, then you have to expect some problems. Of course, the Marriott up the street probably has none of these issues. The best budget hotel I see is the Sawasdee hotel chain. There is one up the street that has a big sign outside saying 550 baht a night.

Before selecting a budget hotel, make sure it is not on any of the main roads (which are the ones parallel to the beach on the map). If you get a hotel that is on the main road, then expect the noise levels to be very high. I mean like as high as what you would expect in an office trailer on a busy construction site. Bad...
If you dont go with the Marriott or some other high-end hotel, then you can expect to change hotels at least once during the trip. None of the budget hotels are perfect and its obvious from the outside.

Aef looks like a good catch. i notice a lot of these Pattaya girls have those bags under their eyes. most don't get days off and are bar fined 4-5 times a week. and (just my take on it but some will agree) the Thai girls know their profession and do it well, without the drama of the AC girls.
as for bar fines, i went to a club where there was a 600b BF for ST but if i wanted LT then it was 1000b but if i waited until after 1am then her BF was 600b for LT. i guess they needed to make sure there were girls dancing or in the club. BF at beer bars are around 300. some good catches there plus i found some decent conversation too. i guess they have to learn to talk if they aren't in bikinis dancing.

Aef looks very cute!
You took some very nice pics and the poses give off and looks give off a good vibe!
Nice work, your reports are appreciated!

"1000 barfine + 2000 baht for long-time"
Secrets has a two tier BF system. I believe the hostesses are 600b but the go-go dancers are 1000b. I have heard others say that you can get one of the dancers for a smaller BF as closing time approaches but I have never been patient enough to verify this.
Too bad about the noise and other problems with the room. It looks pretty nice from the pictures.

My experience of the Sawasdee hotel chain is that they are poor value, even though they are cheap. Siam Sawasdee was the worst hotel I ever stayed in in Thailand. never again.
