The best beer bar, in my opinion, is called the Pier right before the Walking Street entrance where you see a boxing ring and guys engaged in fighting. My idea was to down by the ring and watch the fights. Take pictures and use the video function on my camera to make some good youtube videos.
I have learned that nothing in Thailand is for free. As I pulled out my camera, the fighters saw what I was doing and quickly pulled me into the ring. They let me take photos of them and even took some of me with them. Then their hands came out. I first pulled out a 20 and they shook their heads it was not enough. I ended up giving them each a 100. I felt like I was getting mugged in front of a crowd. The lesson here is to sit as far as possible from the ring. If you want to take photos, then do it from across the street with a zoom lens.
I stayed to watch the next match. The women at the beer bar tables were constantly hounding me despite my objections. I just wanted to watch the match. Then I tried to secretly video the fighters. I just put the camera up on the bar and acted like I was not touching it. The beer bar girls quickly told me not to video the fighters. Then the match was over and the fighter with gloves in hand ran around the bar collecting money. Again, nothing I could do and had to hand out more money. This innocent beer bar was becoming expensive.
You have to closely consider your plans before doing anything in Pattaya. Every step of the way, someone has their hands in your pocket and nothing is for free. The two places I have been able to sit in peace without anyone hounding me for cash is the hotel pool and room. This is why I say not to bother spending money on an expensive hotel room. You will need that cash for getting through the rest of the trip. Its easy to get yourself into these scams if you are uninitiated. I have learned my lessons on this first trip so they will not be repeated later on.
I pulled two women from this day. The first woman was from Papagao which is a very short walk from the hotel in the LK Metro area. This one cost 300 for the barfine and 1000 for short-time. It was quite a deal because you get about 3 hours of time. The women usually say 1 hour, but you can get the time upped easily once in the room. The woman usually does not look at the clock or seem to care.
I know this one is a little thick, but I felt I needed a little diversity. I closed my eyes and thought I was in TJ with this one. Please don't shit in my report and say this is a "ladyboy" because she isnt. Those tits are not fake and this woman had a genuine booty Mexican style.;)

Here is one from the Pier beer bar with the fighting ring. This beer bar seemed to have better looking women although it was not quite as good as the neighboring go-gos. Again it was 300 barfine + 1000 short-time fee.

It is tough getting good photos in Thailand. The ladies seem naturally resistant. Always have your camera at the ready because the woman can quickly withdraw her permission while you are fumbling around with lenses. All the photos you see here are after substantial negotiation. Its not like Angeles City where the women posed willingly after getting fucked.
Im not certain why there would be resistance to posing for photos. Its not like any of these women are going to run for public office. The publicity created on these sites would probably generate quite a few more barfines for them. Most of them seem to just sit around from night to night not getting barfined and all of them appear to need the cash.
Why work in a beer bar or go-go if you do not welcome random guys coming in to barfine you? Thats like wanting to be an attorney, but not wanting to deal with people.
