The camera dork crowd is kind of incredible and have lost the plot. The key wording in your post Monger X is seemmingly. Just having a DSLR with a shoe mount flash would greatly improve the pics and in most cases the girls like it.....If he's taking pics anyway, why not use a better kit?

Many have been bluntly addressed by Blazers in the past for the appearance of our dates, the gyst being we aren't putting enough effort into finding total hotties. The key to good photography is not the equipment, but the user. Great photos can be had with a point and shoot camera if the photographer understands lighting and exposure. Of course, a DSL setup with a flash can help make that easier but it is not essential. Having said that, the photos that Blazers has given us a look at suffer from poor lighting and exposure. Good looking subjects, but poor photography. I am fairly certain that his past MO has been to bang the shit out of his girls and THEN shoot pics. If that is the case, he can be forgiven for not paying the closest attention to the details of fine photography. I, for one, am just happy to see any pictures. EA

I am an ok photographer in the mongering world. Seen a lot worse and seen a hell of lot better.

In my experience, nearly all of the top photographers on this site make photography a priority for them and it shows. The only problem is that 90% of the guys that are using expensive equipment are forgetting the most important thing...the subject. A great SLR can make a 5 look like an 8 but any guy who is picky can definately see the "dress up a pig" concept.

I use one of the top 3 best point and click's available on the market and I really enjoy the success I have had with Canon. I used to not care at all about my camera but this camera gives damn good shots for a point and click.

Couple of other points:

1. Most guys dont barfine cute girls on this site. They barfine whom they feel comfortable with. Most of the pro photographer types fit this bill(Cubanut excluded). When you tell those guys that stunners are jittery when you break out a huge camera with an extended lense or break out the umbrellas or massive flash..they don't believe me. Hot girls freak out with massive equipment. They are not stupid and realize that any guy with that type of equipment is going to plaster photos of the girl all over the net. The mediocre or lower tiered girls could care less and you can break out a bazooka type camera and they wouldn't flinch. They are just happy that someone wants to take a photo of them.

2. A lot of the poor lighting in my shots are just that...poor lighting. Hotels in general have poor lighting and Pacific Breeze Hotel in AC has extremely poor lighting, particularly at night. I did everything I could with angles and back lighting but there is minimal lighting in that room.

Thanks for the responses and I really dont get upset when people criticize my photography. I am not as bad as people say and the girls are cute. This last set of shots is particularly bad for some reason.

I only mentioned this because a ticket to SEA for me cost $800 to $1200. So to stay only 10 days means that I have paid $80-120 per day just in airfare. So in the past, I try to go for 14 - 20 days. I am lucky also in that I can do all my work via the internet. Otherwise, I try to get a ticket by using points/miles.

I spent 5 days last month and came home. I'll spend 4 days this month and head home. Sadly, NOT being in America for a few days pay costs me allot more in lost money than the cost of a plane ticket. Money for plane tickets I can get pretty easy. Days off of work are allot more difficult for me to come by.
