I talked a little more with the touts over at the pier. It is 150 baht to go to the rock island on the slower "big boat" and 400 baht on the faster "speed boat". You can elect for a lunch on the "big boat" which is 150 baht extra.

Boatcard

The boats leave at 9:30am. So here is an example of a full day at "rock island":

- big boat - 150 bahts
- rent motorbike full day - 500 baht
- lie on the beach full day - 50 baht
- meal - 300 bahts

So you can do the island for under 1000 bahts the full day.

I went to the local pharmacy and purchased some jazz for 2400 bahts. I know this can be found a lot cheaper. I used to use generic cialis by a lab in India...Richie Labs. You can do a google search for it. The Richie Labs version I would say is about 80% as potent as the real stuff. Its not as effective as the real thing, but its also a lot cheaper and still seems to work.

This particular pharmacy also had large sized condoms and other items that you might be interested.

I had this woman come back for a 2nd round. I didn't have my jazz last night so I thought it would be fitting for a 2nd round. She only cost me 1000 baht. I asked her why she wasnt working at the clubs and I think she told me she was still applying around, I wasn't sure as there was a language issue. She knew Cambodian, Laos and Thai...not too much English.

She is the skinniest one of the trip. I am finding that many pure Thai women are not truly slender...I mean like 85-100 lbs slender. Most are in good shape, but not like real spinner quality.

I walked around a little more today and there seems no limit to how many bars and hotels there are in Pattaya. Around every corner is another bar and hotel.

I did have one issue at the Secrets. There was a small blood streak on the sheet. I came back from jogging and was presented with a bill for 100 bahts in regards to the stain. I was not shocked as this is what I have come to expect of Thailand. Around every corner is someone with their hand in your pocket. You have to be experienced and shrewd to be able to avoid the pocket digging. I will be honest, my first trip here is not as cheap as I thought, but if I had a second trip then I could probably make it a lot cheaper.

My advice is to aggressively shop around for whatever you are looking for and haggle like heck. Some women might want 3000 bahts for long-time and stick with that price. No matter how good looking they are just turn around and walk out. Here is what I am finding in regards to barfines:

Long-Time Walking Street Go-Go- 2000 baht max for the girl, 600 baht max for the barfine. Long-time should be when you tell them to leave or until 9am, whichever is sooner.

Short-Time Walking Street Go-Go- 1000 baht max for the girl, 600 baht max for the barfine. short-time should be a 3 hour session. If they say 1 hour then walk.

All other places are negotiable. Some other places have been mentioned like LK Metro and Soi 6. My opinion is the best deal is the beach. 500 bahts for a quick 2 hour session. Honestly, thats all you need. Once you are done, hit the beach and look for some more picks. You could bang 3 beach women short-time for the price of 1 Walking Street go-go woman.

Never accept the first price presented by the ladies. Make an excuse like "I did not plan on spending that much." and tell them that you will walk if they do not lower the price. I would not be bashful. This is how negotiation works. You hear the high and try to haggle them lower. You dont have to be stern, but just tell them kindly that its not in your budget. Thats an honest, fair and kind response.

The pointy nipples on this girl are insane! This is by far my favorite girl in your report.

I agree with the sentiment that in Pattaya (and Bangkok and Phuket) the Thai are always trying to get into your pocket. Even worse is that so many of them one to give zero value in excange. A nastier bunch smiling snakes I have never seen. Finding a decent looking young girl without a kid and with a good attitude in Pattaya is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Shoot, trying to find one with any two out of three of those traits is still like a needle in the haystack.

I am not really seeing many Americans here. I keep hearing either Australian or Russian accents. At first, I thought it might be the dollar which seems to be a valid argument. However, I think its something more.

In America, people do not tolerate being fucked with. This is not an easy destination for an American because the minute you step into the street you are being fucked with. I did not count, but I believe at least 25 different vendors approached me today. The worst of the worst is the Indian suit salesmen who know perfect English. They line themselves up on the street and even try to grab your hands. I have been here about two weeks and have said "no" to the same guys about 10 different times. They will not quit.

I have a thick skin so it does not bother me too much, but I can imagine some Americans literally packing it up after a couple days or just getting wild with these guys.

Angeles City is a pit for sure and has its share of aggressive vendors. However, everyone speaks English and you can explain yourself to them. Customer service in the Phils is the best I have seen in the world. For example, I remember the airplane was 3-4 hours late to the Manila airport. I thought for certain no one would be there waiting for me. However, the guy was there for me waving a sign. He did not charge me extra and seemed to be cool about the whole thing. If that happened here in Thailand, then I would have been charged double or triple.

There is a reason why the Thai have not learned English. That is because they do not really like Americans. The English I do here coming from the Thais sounds like British English not American English. So if you are American, you have to watch yourself and wallet here.

I'm not aggravated because every place I have been with easy access to pussy has had something wrong with it and you put up with something in each destination. I say all these things so those reading and considering a trip know what to expect and will not surprised.

Here is a preview of my next post which should come in about 12 hours...

I was thinking this one looks like Lily Thai. I went to the internet to see her pictures and my personal opinion is this one looks better then Lily Thai.

i see we've got some more comedy on the docket.

"the phils has the best customer service in the world"

dude, come on. that is just pure nonsense. customer service barely exists in the PI.

and what is this language barrier that you keep talking about. i've rarely had a problem communicating with the thai people and my language skills are pathetic (think zero). pattaya is probably one of the most english friendly areas on earth. and there is zero anti american sentiment. that is just foolish.

have you really been doing beach girls for 500 ? or did you just read about that. i'd suggest some more sampling at soi 6 before you opine that beach girls are the best deal. the beach girls should be avoided at all times, but i'm kind of a "sissy" type !!!!!.

By Footypjman on Monday, December 07, 2009 - 12:25 pm:  Edit

Gotta agree with Buick - I found there was little, if any, language problem with the people in Pattaya, and I thought, with a few exceptions, that the customer service I received was great.

Granted I egregiously overspent (so I guess the people being over-tipped loved seeing me), but the entire 8 day trip -- including flight -- cost me less than one misguided night in the VIP room at Treasures in Las Vegas (where 3 different credit cards bore the brunt!). My trips are too few and far between, so I just want to relax and have a good time. If I throw the economics off for others by overspending, I apologize.

I should add that I had a fantastic time on my one trip to Angeles City. The people there were fantastic, too (again, I threw off tons of money & tips, so it was to be expected).

That last girl is off the hook hot ! Does not really look Thai however.

Looks more like a Latina than an Asian.Awaiting your report anxiously.

By Blazers on Monday, December 07, 2009 - 04:15 pm:  Edit

These last two girls are extremely hot...top notch gogo bar hot. Looks like you are getting the hang of it. That girl looks nothing like Lilly Thai IMHO and Lilly Thai is Filipina.

Between praising Filipino customer service and this quote, "There is a reason why the Thai have not learned English. That is because they do not really like Americans. The English I do here coming from the Thais sounds like British English not American English. So if you are American, you have to watch yourself and wallet here." I dont believe I have seen this much horeshit spewed on one report EVER!

Dude, you barely know Thailand. Your opinions are mostly conclusionary jumps...big jumps.

By Footypjman on Monday, December 07, 2009 - 05:53 pm:  Edit

I think you meant Lucy Thai -- that girl REALLY does look like her! Good pull!

Given that they have the same last name, I get the two confused all the time -- Lily is a little smaller and doesn't do anal (after Lucy Lee ripped her ass apart with a dildo in a girl on girl scene). As stated, I think she is Filipino (but reportedly was raised in Austin, Texas).

Lucy Thai is Thai/Cambodian (but reportedly from Long Beach).

I think I'm watching too much porn.....

By Portege on Monday, December 07, 2009 - 06:13 pm:  Edit

The top one is a beach girl, but I don't think she will be one for long. From what I understand, she seemed to just get into town and it seems as if she doesn't really know the scene yet. She had some pictures she took of herself and my loose observation is that she was going around to the go-gos trying to find the right one. I don't know if any of the above is true though because I just couldn't understand her that well.

The bottom one cost me and she is from a walking street go-go.

I had no problem with customer service in the Phils. I stayed at the Orchid Inn before the Royal Amsterdam. Each time I went into either hotel, I was greeted with "hi sir" and they would also greet my barfine "hi ma'am". Any request I had, they seemed to be fine with it. I trashed out the Royal Amsterdam room regularly and there were blood stains on the sheets more then a few times. I never was charged extra. I find myself here with a toothbrush and shampoo in the morning scrubbing up small stains on the sheets.

When I walk into any hotel here, I am the one doing the greeting. I just feel like the customer service is different here.

I guess if I stayed at the Marriott and hung around some more expensive places then my experience might be different. However, in the Phils, everyone seemed to be much kinder and at much lower prices.

There is a reason why the Thai have not learned English. That is because they do not really like Americans.

I have no idea how you reached this conclusion, but it is far from the truth. Also, English is the lingua franca of the tourist trade in Thailand. If a Thai speaks another language besides Thai (or Lao for the Isaan'ers), chances are it is English.

PS - Love the nipples!

By Portege on Monday, December 07, 2009 - 09:14 pm:  Edit

Well, its more then just the English.

I know when I walk into a room if people like me or not.

In the Phils, some streets are named after Americans. Many people have American first names. You see lots of styles that are purely American. When you go somewhere in the Phils and they find out you are American, they want to talk to you. They ask what you do and long discussions then follow.

No one here in Thailand has asked me about America or what I do. No one seems to care. The focus seems more on getting cash from my wallet then on talking and getting to know me.

People naturally smiled at me in the Phils and said hello. People only smile at me here when they believe they can get a little baht out of my pocket.

In fact, I feel like I know all the people who I dealt with each and every time I went to the Phils. A lot of them still instant message me over Yahoo. I can tell you some of their stories and things about their lives. I honestly do not believe I will ever get close to anyone here. No one is going to be sending me emails or yahoo messages when I leave.

My interpretation of that is they probably do not like me or maybe its the place I come from they do not like.

By Mongerx on Monday, December 07, 2009 - 10:45 pm:  Edit

It's not that they don't you like you because you are specifically American, they really don't like anyone who is not Thai.

As the song goes,

"They like your money, your money, not you."

By Fooledagain1 on Tuesday, December 08, 2009 - 02:53 am:  Edit

The Thia's speak alot of english the problem is they don't speak it well. They don't pronouce the words right and one must listern very carefully to get a small sample of what they're trying to say.

I was just at the Pattaya hospital this morning, couldn't understand pretty much anyone there indepth. Relied heavily on 1 nurse to translate what anyone else had said including the doctor.

Even the one nurse I had a tough time trying to get everything straight .

And still am unsure if I have everything correct.

My experiences have been positive that thia's like Americans, when I mention I'm american seems to get a big smile every time.

I was told you can catch the big boats to the island for 30 or 40B, don't deal with the touts. Go all the way to the end of the pier and deal direct with the boat. The touts will try and stop you before you get there, just ignore them.

I had 1 of the girls from the hotel help me get my phone set up with sim and download credit. She said better if she buys the sim because they will whack a forgiener 100B or more, but she could get it for 10B or less. She ended getting it for free after buying a 300B load

By Baxter on Tuesday, December 08, 2009 - 10:01 am:  Edit

You're not in TJ anymore Toto. With so many fluent English speakers from all points of the globe, the Thais are not taking one look at you and instantly concluding that you're an American.

The Philippines were an American colony for almost 50 years. After independence, the country was still very closely tied to the US until the closure of Clark and Subic Bay in the 90's. Many Filipinos have relatives living in the US. Of course there is a heavy cultural correlation.

None of the above applies to Thailand - which explains why there aren't lots of streets named after Americans in Bangkok, among other things in the observations that you make.

As MX alludes to, it is a more inwardly focused culture - sometimes extensively so, but that doesn't mean they categorically don't like Americans or any other nationalities for that matter. I find it hard to believe no one has ever asked you "where you from" and "what you do" in your wanderings. :-) Maybe the people in Bangkok have more active curiousities than their Pattaya brethren.

Portege, In my view your interpetation of the place is off base. The Thia's are more bussiness like, it's not because they don't like you it's because they are much more bussiness like then the Phils.

They view thesex industry as a bussiness, in the Phils the girls don't like to think of themselves as whores therefore because of this they look at it more as finding a BF and not a sex bussiness, which naturally leads to them getting to know you more and wanting to keep in touch.

Here in Thialand for one, they make more money in the bussiness and are much better off then in the Phils, don't nessecarily need to get sponsors like they crave in the Phils. These girls have no problem working as whores as a job and making money, it's just a totally different mentality.

The other thing is the filipino people are regarded as the most hospitable people in the world. Pick up any travel book and read about the Phils and every one will tell you the filipino's are the most hospitaple people in the world, that's just the filipino way. Has nothing what so ever to do with whether they like you or not it's just the filipino way.

You may "feel" like they like you. That's not the Thia way, you may "feel the Thia's don't like you but not true in my view, it's just their way of doing things is different, and more bussiness like.

But I agree, if you've been going to the Phils and then come here it's different and not as much of "rock star overall treatment" you'd recieve in the Phils.

By Gurock1 on Wednesday, December 09, 2009 - 05:06 pm:  Edit

I agree with much of the last comment, but want to add that Thai girls always seem to want to ask where I come from. That's why I keep my Water Buffalo picture handy and teel them I'm from Lao then I show them them the picture of my house and Buffalo in Lao.
