We finally woke up at around 10:30 am and Laura was pissed about how late it was, but agreed to a quickie. I squeezed one out in about 20 minutes and she called her taxista to pick her up.
While we were waiting in the main room, Jonesie came out and the three of us were talking for a bit and Jonesie said he might call her some time for sex. Laura looked at me and I told her I had no problem with that, so she said how about right now. Jonesie said sure and they went off to his room.
About 10 minutes later there was a knock and my door and Laura was leaving… That Jonesie…
We headed to Centro Havana to buy some trinket Jonesie wanted and wandered around a bit and Jonesie ended up procuring some Cuban art while 16 year olds walking the Prado were motioning at us from all directions. We opted to ignore them. We did some shopping for groceries and Jonesie picked up a friend of his and dropped me off at the Cohiba hotel to use the internet for a bit while he went back to the casa with the crap we bought.
After my 30 minute internet card was up, I went to the post office to mail some postcards and caught a taxi back to the casa. Upon arrival I was told by the casa owner that I need to speak to Jonesie asap.
I retreated to my room and unpacked the groceries. About 20 minutes later Jonesie calls me to tell me that the casa owner kicked us out because the water was “broken” and he was looking for a new casa for us. Great.
About 20 minutes later Jonesie picked me up and we got some dinner at El Ajibe. From El Ajibe we headed back to the casa that was kicking us out and we reluctantly headed across the street to a friend of hers that had another casa with inferior amenities for the same price (35 CUC/person/night). One thing led to another and we ended up getting the boot from this second casa as well.
Jonesie called his taxista friend Geni and Geni set us up with a casa in Nueva Vedado. To say this was reminiscent of the “Bates Hotel” would be the understatement of the year. The owner was a creepy brooding chatty woman and her walking dead zombie like post-stroke husband, another chatty character. The rooms were decked with porcelain figurines and crystal vases… oh… and mosquitoes. But we were desperate, so we agreed to 30 CUC/person/night and soldiered through. We got settled in and took quick power naps in preparation for the nightly festivities.
We arrived at around 11pm to La Cecelia to discover that it was closed, so we headed over to Casa de Musica Miramar and wouldn’t you know it, I ran into Ani from my last report—and I didn’t even recognize her—Jonesie had to point her out to me, he recognized her from my pictures. Jonesie started chatting with Ani and I humored her not-as-hot friend, and as soon as Ani got us a table Jonesie bailed on her and found a different chick.
I kept talking to the friend and she seemed like she was a real giver, so I decided to go with her after Jonesie quickly negotiated with his girl (we only had one key to the casa…)
We got back to the casa to find the husband standing in the walkway on the inside of the house blocking the way to our rooms. He was leaning slumped on the side of one table, drooling and just staring at the door with one eye open larger than the other eye… He asked the girls for their ID cards and then grabbed my shoulder and said (in English) “You are a very big man. Very big. In every way.” Um. Okay.
Yanet had a nice spinner body and a great attitude, in fact she never mentioned getting paid (outside of negotiations of course) until we were wrapping our session up. We were just finishing up my first nut when someone knocked. This was a recurring theme on this trip. Jonesie’s girl was done and wanted mine to leave with mine. I told mine she agreed to two nuts, and we argued a bit, then she started to blow me for around 10 more minutes and I just let her leave, I don’t really like being rushed, and she kept telling me the other girl is waiting for her… Whatever.

Cute! I might have bumped into her on my trip.
2 girls and 2 guys seems to complicate things in my experience in cuba. Someone will seem shorted. When a girl is done and wants to leave, her friend usually becomes priority.

Socrates, I guess if I lasted longer and kept my girl occupied, I could have saved Infanticide some grief...

a few cold cristals, good music and some smokes seems to keep them occupied for awhile I've found.
