Day 1: November 17 2009
I arrived on the late plane from Atlanta at 11:50pm. The Lima airport is rather nice and modern. I didn't have any trouble at immigration or customs (got a green light). I ended up taking a hired car from the airport instead of a taxi. It was $35 but by the time I got my bags it was 1:30am and I didn't want to mess around trying to figure out a taxi and negotiate (I was much better at this by the end of the trip).
The apartment was nice, adequate. Not quite as upscale as the pictures but fairly quiet and a view of the Canadian embassy and since we can see Canada from my state it made me feel at home.
After I got checked in I walked over to Tequila Rock about six blocks, stopped at the ATM for soles, waved off some unenticing street girls by pizza alley on the way and the consistently buzzing and honking taxis. It was about 2:30am when I got there. It was not hard to find. Entrance was s/. 10 on a Wednesday including a drink ticket. You walk down some stairs and there's a dance floor and three bars. Girls are clustered along the bars mostly. There are some booths off to one side as well.
It wasn't very crowded, but geeze maybe I'm just a frostbit newbie from the north but there were a lot of cute girls there - 6 to 8 on my scale. No bombshells, but more than adequate for my tastes. A ratio of maybe 1.5 chicas per guy. I avoided eye contact and headed straight to the bar for my beer. I wasn't there long before a girl named Claudia was all over me. She was ok, sort of tall and thin, spoke a little English, I had a few drinks with her, she wanted $100 but I didn't negotiate since I wanted to check out the others.
I settled on a girl (I think her name was Jane) or rather she picked me and pulled me into a booth and started making out with me. She was a borderline spinner, short, very cute, red hair, big eyes, medium rack. She wanted $100 and using my ace negotiating skills I offered $80 and finally using my superior intellignce and language skills I got her down to $100. Anyways, it was 4am and I was getting pretty beat so I thought I shouldn't be fussy since it appeared the place was starting to empty out.
We grabbed a taxi, made a condom stop at the all night pharmacy. I'm sure I was overcharged for the taxi (s/. 10?). Back at the ranch first I got a picture then we chatted (or sort of gestured) and then got down to business. She was adequate but nothing special. A short covered bj and a number of positions, no kissing (contrary to her approach at TR) or DATY, but she wasn't in a rush and stayed until morning. As with almost every Peruvian girl I met she was very sweet. The long day caught up with me and I lost it after a while and she tried her best to get things going again but nothing was happening. I gave her $5 for the taxi and I walked her down the street. I got to keep the rubbers.
All in all not a spectacular night but under the circumstances I was pleased. I know I'm going to cry when I go home and no more TR.

When you say $100, I'm assuming you're talking nuevo sol and not US dollar.
According to others $100 USD is what you pay for model material in Peru

RT here.
I am betting that he meant US$100.
Over the last year, the girls in Tequila Rock have unanimously decided that whatever is between their legs is worth 100 dollars. Regardless of age, beauty level, etc... they want $100.
Yes, you can negotiate down on price (or up on time), but it would not surprise me at all that a first-timer to Tequila Rock, with little to no Spanish skills, paid US$100.
But remember, she stayed overnight (what was left of it), and she was OK with a second pop in the morning. To me, $100 (if you like the girl, like her looks, and enjoy the experience) is not out of line.
As to $100 models, yes, they're there. I know some of them. But they're $100 for an hour, and some of them are now asking for $120-150, especially if you go through an agency. There's also agencies with 80-100 sol outcalls for an hour, and everything in between, so it's really a buyer's decision. And, it was 4 am, and he got to meet and look at and talk to her before committing to a buying decision.
I suspect that -- when we read the rest of his report -- we will get pricing confirmation.

I got a girl off of $100 and down to 130 soles in around 15 minutes at TR. I ended up not taking her, but they'll drop in price fairly quickly without much effort.
Tell the girl you'll only negotiate in soles, then have her name her new price and work from there. They love to hear the word "hundred" so they're as likely to take 200 soles as they are to take $80, which is worth more.

RT...could you elaborate on your take of what prices should be? I can see if you give the newbie vibe and the language is a hurdle how you will try and be overcharged.
What is your estimation of what a seasoned hunter vs a fluent spanish speaker vs what a local would pay for ST and LT?
Interesting information and nice updates!
Thank you for the report!

RT here. Happy new year, everyone.
Concarne asked:
Of course. I live to elaborate.

Sorry for the long absence. Yes, it was $100. RT is the man, so I defer to his learned opinion. On my next visit I did negotiate down to 200 soles, but the quality wasn't quite there either (see upcoming report).
