There are two bus companies. My favorite is TEO, Tres Estrellas de Oro. The ticket counter is inside the terminal. The bus leaves hourly from SA & San Ysidro, mas o menos. Round trip is $28. The roundtrip ticket is good for 90 days. The south bound bus drops you off at the pedestrian gate on the USA side. The return bus to SA is located across the street from the Jack in the Box, after you walk across the border. A taxi from SA to the border is over $100 one way. It's a 1 1/2-2hr trip by bus or cab.
