St. Maarten doesn't get much mention on this forum, but I think it's a destination well worth consideration.

It has many things to recommend it: 1) it's relatively close to the U.S. mainland; 2) English is the primary language; 3) prostitution is legal - the island (4 mi. across at max.) imports a thousand columbianas per year on three-month "dancer" visas and they're checked weekly for STD's; 4) it has great beaches and other vacation amenities.

I stayed in Philipsburg, on the Dutch side, at a hotel called "Holland House." I'd stayed here on a non-mongering vacation trip and liked it. The beach is directly across the boardwalk. I think it was $180 per night.

There are four brothels within a ten-minute drive. Parking is tough. For my rental car, I had to pay $1/hr for a safe and convenient location. The car itself was $45 (with tax, etc.) arranged through the hotel.

Another option is to take cabs - easily picked up in town. Cabbies hang out around the brothels to pick up customers.

The going rate at the brothels is $50 per half hour. Some charge $3 for the room (so that it's a "hotel" for legal purposes).

I had a couple of years of Spanish in high school, but the girls speak enough English to get the job done. Just hang around in the bar and they'll approach. My comprehension of Spanish, and even of English for that matter, varied with their relative attractiveness.

The main road north of Philipsburg along the east coast of the island is Suckergarden Road. If you go a mile or so out of town, you'll get to the edge of the hills. You'll see a bright orange building on your left, which is El Capitan, a brothel that is awaiting permission to open.

As El Capitan comes into view, you'll see a sign for Arch Road on the left. If you turn left there, and then turn left again at the first real intersection (at "Johnnie's" store) a brothel called Carolina's is on the left at the next intersection. It has no signage. The girls there are almost all Columbian, and range from sevens to tens. The restaurant there is actually quite good.

If you continue on the road past Carolina's, you would go out onto the former island in the "salt pond." Le Petit Chateu is on the right. Colorful and obvious signage. The place reminds me of the brothel from "From Dusk Til Dawn." They were even playing the Cheech Marin bit while I was in there (i.e., "We've got smelly pussy..." etc.) It's kind of a pit, but there were a couple of gems there.

If, coming out of town, you continued to El Capitan on Suckergarden Road and turned left at that spot, the road dead-ends at Seaman's - a relocated veraion of the original brothel built to keep the sailors from bothering the local women. Again - almost exclusively Columbianas and sevens to tens. Their rooms are almost as nice as my hotel's.

Going further out Suckergarden Road, Defiance is on the right - identified by it's big "Wi-Fi" sign. Physically, it's a nice place - open, bright and not too loud during the daytime. The girl's rooms are dingy. A higher proportion of homely Dominicans.

The same can be said of Casa Blanca - on the right at the top of the last ridge before crossing onto the French side of the island.

Most of the girls don't allow pictures and pictures without clothes would probably be impossible.

In summary, I'd have to be here quite a while to go anywhere other than Seaman's and Carolina's.

Again - St. Maarten's is an under-reported gem and well worth consideration: Beautiful Columbianas near great beaches without the distance, language and safety issues of Columbia.

It's funny you should mention St. Maarten. My latest favorita in Medellin told me she was going to St. Maarten for a few months. I guess my geography is bad. I thought she meant somewhere in Europe;)

It does confirm what you are reporting though. I think she is close to a 10. I'm sure she'll do very well there.

Of eight experiences:

I only had one where I felt any real emotional connection with the girl. Of course, each one was a one-off... so that might have changed. I met up with another guy who had multiples with girls and had a lot more connection, BB experiences, etc.

The others were great... just no real emotional connection. Only one where I wish I had passed, just because she was a clock-watcher.

I understand taking a girl TLN gets a different experience, though it costs $200+ They really appreciate being taken off the reservation. My Spanish isn't good enough to fill the time, and I didn't desire companionship, per se.

The girls have to check in by 11:00. They work until around 2 pm, then start again around 7/8. I understand you may be able to get them to go to the beach, etc. during the afternoon break - maybe for free. Again, I wasn't interested.

I didn't seek BBBJ's, but they were reliably had with some girls identified on other forums.

I'm not that big of a fan of BJ's - especially covered.

As one girl initiated a CBJ, I told her "no necessito" which she interpreted as meaning that I didn't need the cover... so it turned into BBBJ.

I wanted to mention that I've read about drama with Columbianas. I didn't experience any of that. Maybe they realize drama doesn't play well there.

From what I've read, I can't imagine a better destination.
