Just got back from Saigon (HCMC). On this board, you will see some information on Vietnam, but none of it is too current.

I was on business so I could only dabble in the scene. What I think I know.

In the better hotels, it is difficult to get a girl 'in'. However, she usually can get into the hotel in the early afternoon, show her ID, and then leave by 9-10pm. Some of the bars open at 2pm.

There are several bars on and around 35 Hai Ba Trung street, not too far from the tourist areas around the Rex and Shearton Hotels. About a 5 minute walk. I did this several times around 2 in the afternoon and 7-8 in the evening. Felt safe.

If you go a bar in this area, say the Bar Billiards at 35 Hai Ba Trung, you will see girls. Their drink about $2.50 USD. On site action for BBBJ is $40. But note, you can take a girl for 12 hours for $80, and 24 hours for $120. This is for a spinner, mostly GFE experience, BBBJ, condom pussy sex. None of the girls would allow anal. Other girls at other bars a few doors away would spend 24 hours with you for as low as $80 and would be willing to travel around Vietnam for several days.

Some of the girls were lovely. Some spoke very good English. You can try to email huong83nguyen@yahoo.com. She is a spinner, and a total GFE. She works at the Bar Billiards. OH, each club will charge you an additional $20 per day if you take the girl out of the bar. Still a great bargin for 12-24 hours of fun and sex.

Other options, and more expensive are the higher priced clubs only for foreigners. There is a club called Club Royal. It has girls. Take out for 12 hours is $200. The girls are good lucking, where coctail attire, and are a little better looking. My taste ran to simplier girls and less money.

i love the dong khoi area of saigon. it sounds like things may be cheaper than my last visit in Q2 2008. maybe the exchange rate is the reason, 18,500vnd to the USD now. it was 14,000 on my first trip in Q3 07. i remember it got up to 15,000 or maybe even 16,000 on another visit.

i'm planning to visit again in june or july.

where did you stay ?

Stayed at the Shearton. Good location but cost way too much. Lot's of hotels in the area. Why not get an American one for the first night or two, and then find something else cheaper in the area. Some decent places but I did not check prices.
