DayDreaming
---------------
There is always that youthful excitement when it comes time for another vacation to Asia. After all these years, i've become an expert in packing my bags and getting ready. sure was feeling good for my well deserve rest and a "let loose of my Manhood"!!! However, there is always that little snag that almost ruin my trip. Going through the airport was a breeze and the weather even play on my favor and was such a nice day.

"The Flight from Hell"
------------------------
I am a person that learned from my mistakes and this was a subtle occasion to showed my skills. However, sometimes i get cheap and cheap almost ruin my dream vacation. Going to the Philippine consulate i saw this travel agency in the building, advertising cheap flights to PI. found out it was on Philippine Airlines, "First Alarm"!!!. Anyways, the problems started at the airport, was given a nasty and uncourteous treatment by one of the Pinay attendants at the counter, all 'cause she didn't liked the size of my bagpack. also, she objected to my check in bags. to save the day, i had to fork out almost $200= in extra charges. hopping this was all the bull for the day i kept saying is all over!?!?!? Believe the Boeing 747 is a fine craft, but, the one taking us to Manila, was probably a test aircraft. it was in such poor shape.

-flight from hell 1-

Once onboard, the problems begun, nonstop, the rest arm that locks my TV set in place was broken, so i couldn't use to watch movies, the recliner was broken, too. the audio head set system was gone; i just couldn't believe i was going to spend ALL 9-10 hrs staring at the ceiling!!!! complain to the attendants and to be fair, only one guy took his time and try to help me. trying to fix the seat arm, he even went to the extreme to rip some pages from a Mabuhay magazine (good use for it!!!) and stuffed them in the arm rest to try to lock the unit in place. my flight was save when, after almost running out of options, was placed in a continuos seat. Happy the flight was not a full one.

-flight1-

Arrival at the Ninoy Aquino airport (terminal 3), was simple a claustrofuck of Pinoy proportions!!! there's that universal saying: "No 2nd chances for 1rst impressions"!!! Well, guess it will never apply in the Philippines. it was madness getting out off the craft, madness getting your bags and a no good going through customs/inmigration.

-ninoy1-

Was a blessing that getting transportation to Subic was without incidents. though, i didn't make any arrangements, was happy to get a taxi to the Victory liner bus station at Pasay and hop on a bus to Olongapo. sleep like a baby during the trip and at the end, the driver and ticket guy almost had to kick me out of the bus in Olongapo. was completely out and looking back, somebody could have stolen something from me and i wouldn't have known the fact, long after the pervert was gone to Mindanao!!!!

-olong1-
-olong2-
-olong3-

I really love the Subic Bay, if there's a place i would love to live, this is it. Some of my friends thought i was crazy when i advocate for the US Navy to leave the naval base. Personally, think the US Navy only did things to its convenience and never care about the locals. Also, it was good for the Pinoys to finally stand on their own two feet and run theirs affairs any way they wanted. After all, i was right and the Subic area is a prime example that with hard work and honest leaders it can be accomplish.

One my hightlights in town was to meet the top cop and he was such a nice fellow, was very polite to let me snap a pic next to his "Pinoymobile".

Made my initial basecamp at the Rooftop hotel, part of the taco shop restaurant. was very pleased to see a clean, well run hotel. all spanking new and not many miles on it, yet. Got a special of P995.00 a night. of course, no problemo bringing the honey for the night.

The hotel itseft was pretty good and complemented with the restaurant it was just perfect. room had all the comforts you could expect (a/c, cable tv, clean, big bed, quiet and cozy).

You could say there aren't many clubs/bars in Barrio Barreto, not in the proportion as in AC; but, i tend to like it 'cause still you find some sweet ladies without the hassle and bustle you most ciertainly find in a bigger enterteinment area. Liked it much Sand Castle, here met Ann and have to say it was a winner, total GFE. not a bad comment came out of my mouth with this lady.

Photos: Ann - The Cavern 01 02 03 04 05 06

Weather was kind of funny, sometimes would rain like crazy and sometimes the sky would be clear as heaven. for the most part it was sunny and only with occasional downpuor, typical in this tropical enviroment. Bo Barreto hass evolved over the years and the years tend to come and go. however, there seems to be a set format, if you could say that.some rooted places will always be there (Midnight rambler, coffee shop, Mangos, San castle, Swagman travel, etc.....)

I tended to spent my time just bouncing between Barrio and Olongapo. actually, there are some nice beach areas by Cubi, did went there a few times and what a clubMed feeling, minus the inflated bill!!!

One of those nights i went to the Office Club and was pleasant surprizede to meet the gorgeous JennyLee, from Leyte. such a sweet pinay, was like a puppy all night. sad to say i lost track of her and just hope i could see her again.

Did stayed a few days but with plans beforehand to go to AC for a flash trip i headed that way. no rpoblems getting on a Victory liner bus.

olongx1

Wasn't going to be like a sheep going to AC and decided to get there the way ALL pinoys do it. once i got to Dau, took a jeepney to fields ave, save a ton in comparison with those tourist inflated prices in transportation.

Once in AC, went to the Apartelle Royal and wanted to see how good that place is. don't think is out of this world. the WIFI wasn't good and didn't like the stairs and no elevator. at least no problem bringing chick in.

One other thing annoys me was the safety box and its holy combination system. well, maybe is me but it wouldn't hurt if they get something better and easier to use.

There are so many young faces and firm bodies all over AC and didn't take me long to hook up with Ana (from Bulacan), she works out of the D'Club. she was actually very novice in the sack and that just made things more fun for me.

One landmark always to find in AC is Margaritaville and is not a waste going there, on the contrary, money well spent.

Well, here is were i go in limbo, it all was explained in a previous trip report (last one to LOS). trip to the airport in Manila nice on the Southern Cross Shuttle, and from the hotel in Manila by small airport service. the cebu pacific service was very good and efficient unlike those bastards of Philippine Airlines.

ceb1

On my return from LOS i went back to AC and beforehand already made my reservations with the Brass Knob hotel and restaurant.

The brass Knob hotel won't have all the glitter or shinny brass that the big shot hotels in town, but, is simple, clean, with all the amenities you'd expect and of course girlfriendly. also it has its own Go Go bar next to it, HOW CONVENIENT!!!!

I'd rather enjoyed my stay here quite well and wouldn't mind coming back again here. remenber the room was on ofert of only P1,000.00 per night. think the regulr fare was only P200 more.honestly, don't mind paying that little more knowing all my needs are taken care off.

Fields is amazing after all these years and even surprized to see a mall inside Clark base. this is truly a Phoenix that came out of the ashes of Pinatubo. This is to show "women got power", specially Asian ones.

Of all the clubes i went to, certainly the Crystal palace is a good one not only for the sheer amount of girls, but, the shows and the jolly times you get there. so much womanhood comes out of there is just sexually electrifying!!!. One of the girls i ended up with was the Amazon Anny (Crystal palace). though she is a veteran, she has a killer body and not shy at all.

Photos: Anny - Crystal Palace 14 15 16 17 18

One thing i dislike about AC is the lack of things to do during daylight hours. maybe i'm wrong but if they come up with some good ideas it wouldn't hurt. had to do a little thin king how to spend my time during the day. guess i kind of cruise up and down Fields and Clark to relax a little.

there was this little bar next to Brass Knob that caught my attention one day, always has nice looking gals at the door, is called the Cherry Bar. nice and fun place to go in. didn't regret it at .all.

cherry bar1

The gal i found here was Ginna, a true sweetheart, only thing i could wrong with her was she could get totally wasted if going on drinking all night. otherwise, a package fit for a King.

Photos: Ginna - Stampede 19 20 21 22 23 24

Of my finds during this trip was to ran into 3 sisters, yes, 3sisters!!! at the Crystal palace. fell like Columbus!!!

Photos: Sisters - Crystal Palace 25 26 27 28

Couldn't resist one of those nights and decided to get one of the sisters, her name was Sonia and think her sister Anny was more experienced in the sack. she kind of played games but she was a willing tropper and a great catch for the night.

Photos: Sonia - Crystal Palace 29 30 31 32 33 34 35

Like i said before, tried to keep my mind off in silly things to just relax during daylight hours. one one of my outings i went to the town's market and got me a load of good music cds at a steal of a price, happy like a kid in a candy store!!!

Tend to look always for some other new places to stay in case my favorites hotels are book. found this little lodge right on Don Juico ave., not far from the brass Knob. its called the Lodge and cheap, clean and safe.

lodge1

One of my last joints i went was the fantasy Bar. i was recommended this place by a friend of mine and he was right. very nice, good music and a ton of girls. right on Fields ave and not far from Dollhouse. One thing i noticed is that it has quite a few cherry girls!!!

Photos: Bar Fun - Fantasy Club 36 37 38 39

It would be dizzy if i describe all the bars in the area, so many and one is similar to the other. also, girls come and go like the tide. so if your Honey is in this bar now, tomorrow she might be in Manila, who knows!!!!

My leaving town was done by the Southern Cross shuttle, picks you up right outside the hotel. great service!!!

Arriving in Manila, the bus will stop by the Southern Cross hotel and there you can buy a ticket for a ride to the airport. not expensive and save yourself from keeping those taxi sharks off your back and wallet. was glad the traffic was mercifull and trouble free.

Now, this is the 2nd part of the flight from hell. i thought i already suffered enough, guess not. the check in was poor, service very sad. the PIE went to the area assigned to keep the passengers, it was so ridiculous small that i couldn't even sit on the FLOOR!!!. complained to one of the Philippine airline staff and it was like talking to a Russian!!!. check these pics!!!

fuck1
fuck2
fuck3
fuck4

Needless to say, i sent one of the very few red hot e-mails to Philippine airlines and just crucify the fuckers for such sorry performance. was surprized that after a few weeks, some broad from that airline wrote and explaining their shortcomings. it was a not my fault but so and so thing..... at the end i was offered like 10,000 miles free as an apology. to be honest, was tempted to take the offer upb ut, for once told them where to keep their offer. Unless my employer in one of my overseas outings gives me tickets on Pinay Airlines, i'll use them, otherwise, never with my dough!!!

To sum up, i was very pleased in general with this trip and keep fond memories of the good times i had with the more gracious companies of so many cute and sexy ladies. I look forward to do another repeat in the near future.

I want to express my grattitude to Clubhombre for all the help in getting my trip done and prepare. have so much to give to this website and very happy to be a Hombre menber.

Setting the record straight
------------------------------

This was a trip taken last year. i couldn't post it earlier 'cause my papers were misplaced for a while. like the saying goes: Better late than never!!!

I flew LAX to MNL a few years ago on Philippine Airlines, and had problems with my seat in business class, but I discovered it prior to us pushing back from the gate so they were able to get a mechanic to repair it.

Now whenever I fly, the first thing I do is check to make sure the seat reclines, the foot rest comes out, etc.

Did they have the wheelchair line from hell? I thought they were going to slap a red cross on the side of the plane since we had so many wheel chair case's on board.

Excellent report. And great choices as well.

By Lovingmarvin on Friday, April 02, 2010 - 05:12 pm:  Edit

Philippine Airlines also nailed me with overweight luggages charges.... I hid one bag out of sight in BKK after watching a bunch of people in front of me having problems with their bags, and got away with not paying going to Manila, but on the return was not so lucky. I hid the bag out of the sight again, but right before immigration there is another guy that checks the weight of the bag again.

Great report! love that first girl in the yellow dress!

thank you for the report! great visual story with the pictures! nice talent you found as well! except for the airlines incidents, i am glad you enjoyed your trip!

Great report. I've never been to the Philippines and your report and visuals gave me a good sense of the place. I particularly liked the first girl, Ann.

Another prop for the first girl - LOVELY!

By Marcopolo on Sunday, April 04, 2010 - 07:36 pm:  Edit

Listen guys;
First, apologies for the typo errors. trying to get it all in in a proper order, guess, it messes with my vision and errors were done. still, you can see what i'm saying or read it.
There were a few other girls i met, but those pics were lost and sad about it. specially was this chick named "Bless", met her in Bo Barreto and she was such a beauty, her English just fine and such an example of Pinay womanhood.
other thing i left out was i lost or got stolen my casio digital camera out off my shorts cargo pockets. think it happened when i took a ride in one of those trycicles and when i saw it missing NEXT morning, well, too late. NOT even with a US$100= reward posted by the trycicle stand (no quwestions asked!!!) could got my camera back. don't know what the F.....NG thief could have done with it. except keep drooling at the pics i had on some of the girls i party with at the Rooftop. For some lucky coincidence i had my old camera with me and THAT save the trip and some extra money. still, bought me a new one once i got back to the States. also, with the lost of my camera, i lost/got stolen some traveller checks. only thing there is that i got my money back since i had the receipts, WHAT A RELIEF!!!
Overrall, it was a good trip and the few minuses didn't ruin my vacation.
Now in Singapore and came from thailand by land (A/C VIP bus), will be in Pinayland by the end of the week.
Later guys///

Those first 3 pics of the airport a t the start of the report are from the departure from Manila. for some stupid brain block i posted them there, sorry. ///

Good work on the transport! Bus is by far the best way to go to Subic/Olongapo from MNL. The car and taxi prices are outrageous by comparison and the time savings is not enough to outweigh it. (keeping in mind, this is a budget destination) However, if one was staying directly in Barrio Barreto / Baloy, I would opt for one of the one-way 400p (?) van services.

By Marcopolo on Thursday, April 08, 2010 - 03:14 am:  Edit

Keeper;
You are absolutely right. no sense in blowing you r money when there are bus services with perfect sfficiency. one other option from Bo Barreto is to take the Southern Cross shuttle bus service that goes from MNL-AC-SUBIC. i think is around PH 300/400 and perfect for you needs. a little more if that is what you want. otherwise, even if you have a few bags, take the Victory liner service and you'll do fine. done it lots of times and happy all the time. just thinking, at the manila airport, those vampires want around US$100 for one way to AC or Subis; Screw them!!!!!!

By Phoenixguy on Friday, April 09, 2010 - 08:06 am:  Edit

There are a million reasons to complain about PAL (you've touched on a few - don't even get me started on their cluster fuck of a booking process). But baggage fees? They allow 2 free bags on overseas flights, up to 50 pounds each. That's up to 100 pounds of luggage free.

By Lovingmarvin on Friday, April 09, 2010 - 11:09 am:  Edit

Overseas flight to/from the US might ok, but not the BKK - MNL flight I took. It was 25kg (55lbs) for ALL bags - checked AND carry-on weighted together. In MNL they made most people put all their bags on the scale together... And then I believe it depends on the fare type. If you have their bargain fare, then they really nail you on the luggage fees. Doesn't seem so bad leaving BKK, but from MNL they seem pretty restrictive.

By Metal on Saturday, April 10, 2010 - 06:36 pm:  Edit

Thanks for taking the time to post your report. I vote for Ginna - heavy drinkers are kewl!

By Marcopolo on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 - 04:36 am:  Edit

Listen guys;
Lovingmarvin is right on the money. IF you fly from the US to Asia, you get to check 2 bags (50 lbs each!!!); but, if you're flying around Asia is only 2 bags and between 20-25 kgs, depending on what you're paying for your fare. The recent flight i took from Singapore to manila (early Apr '10), i was allowed 2 bags, 20 kgs only!!!.
What can i say? planned in advance and check what you carry. free lunches re over!!!
