I am Russian and I have traveled extensively for the past 2 years. I will relate my GI (general impressions) and I will provide some specific info.

Street hookers in Nairobi charge 600 Ksh (Kenyan schillings) to locals and 1000 Ksh to foreigners who live in Nairobi for short time. (78 Ksh=1 dollar U.S.). Of course, if it looks like you just arrived they may ask for 5000 Ksh. Quality varies. My best experience was with a Somali girl from Mombasa (a big Kenyan port and a beach town). She was very light skinned and had sharp features, if you painted her white she could pass for European. Probably she was illegal in Kenya. Anyway I picked her on Muindi Mbingu Street and we went to a lodge (a cheap hotel that could be rented by the hour or for a night and used only for fuck). Lodges in Kenya are similar to motels in Latin American countries. I used Forest Lodge in Nairobi (500 Ksh a night), no hot water, but relatively clean and safe. The girl gave me a nice bj w/out a rubber, although she asked me not to come in her mouth, then we took a shower and I fucked her in the ass. I liked the girl so much that I offered her to stay for the whole night. She washed my dick, gave me a massage and we slept a bit. Their bar is called Simba Salon, but locals call it Carnivore, same as restaurant. Great music, half of the girls aren’t hookers, but friendly anyway. Pavement Restaurant & Disco features Thai food and lots of hookers in the bar and disco area. Some are old and ugly, others are average, but you can find occasionally some stunners. Prices for short time start at 2000 Ksh. and can go much higher. Florida 2000 is yet another pickup joint, supposedly popular with university girls who are behind on their rent. There is a small number of university girls there, who come from time to time, but the majority are regular hookers. There is another Florida bar (not 2000) where the selection is better. Brothels in Nairobi are for the most part a bad deal. Girls are ugly and minimum charge would be 3000 Ksh. The nice thing about Kenya is that you really don’t need hookers. The girls are very friendly and many want a foreign boyfriend. Even if your looks are below average you can pick up pretty girls off the street without any effort. Smile, say hi, introduce yourself, ask for her name, tell her you like her, ask if she got a boyfriend, make a small talk and ask for her number. Most of them will fuck for free on the 1st or on the 2nd date. In Mombasa the bar girls are cheaper than in Nairobi but they are more conservative, very few are willing to do anal and they are not enthusiastic about bjs. GI – pretty good. /And if you are into safaris Kenya is fantastic/.

In Nairobi check out Heron Court on Millimani Road. It's decent and cheap (about $25 for a bed and a good breakfast), has a good resturant, and the massage is full service. It was once the home of Buffalo Bills, where the food and drink was plentiful, and all the women wanted you (if you had some $$$). Bills apparently was too blatant for Nairobi and was closed down, but the Heron is close to the downtown action (don't walk at night) and still has some of it's own.

KENYA REPORT: While I would not visit Africa from the USA just for sexual adventure, it is true that many Europeans (especially Germans) go on "sex safaris" in Kenya. Most tourists to East Africa come from Europe anyway. My advice to friends is always come with a buddy with the daytime intention primarily of enjoying Kenya's magnificent tourist attractions (game viewing, mountain climbing, scuba diving, rafting, camping, etc.) That said, Nairobi in particular is a potpourri of girls from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Somalia and Ethiopia. You get dark/light, tall/short, stout/thin, etc. Having traveled extensively in Latin America, Eastern Europe and Asia, and having a preference for darker women with nice back sides, Nairobi is prime hunting grounds for such enjoyment.

First, East Africa sex is not as commercialized as in, say, Rio or Bangkok. There are no massage parlours. In general, avoid the street hookers. In the bars and discos, one finds all types of girls. I generally meet students and secretaries who are quite normal in appearence. But as most girls are struggling in a poor continent like Africa, they appreciate any "help" they can get. Most foreigners who meet such girls, will take them home for the night and give them $30 to $60 in the morning. These girls generally don't ask for money and would much prefer a longer term relationship. MANY foreigners marry these girls, and that is really what they want. Of course, one can always go after the obvious prostitutes, which can also be fun. The expat community living here is probably 10,000+. Kenya receives 500,000 tourists per year.

Daytime/Evening in Nairobi: Not much to do really. Best pick- up spot is the Thorn Tree Cafe at the Stanley Hotel in city center. There are always a few quality girls around from afternoon till evening. It's a popular meeting place for tourists and travellers in East Africa. It's a nice outdoor place with a Meia Pataca (Rio) feel. Or one could cruise Yaya or Sarit shoppping centers.

Night-time (after 10pm) in Nairobi: There are several good choices. The best hotel night spot is the Intercontinental Hotel in city center. Tuesdays & Saturdays is Karioki. Wednesdays & Fridays live Salsa band. Again, the more quality girls come here in the evenings. On Wednesdays, the famous Carnivore restaurant sponsors "Rock Night" which attracts the expat crowd and always a lot of girls. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays are big nights for the Pavement. It is a high tech disco with a nice bar and restaurant. It's not a cheap place and it generally attracts the highest quality girls in Nairobi. Another watering hole (9pm - midnight) is the popular Gipsy's Bar. This is a popular evening meeting place for expats. Finally, the best late night, all week pick-up spot is definitely the New Florida Nightclub on Koinange Street in city center. (Not to be confused with the rougher Florida 2000.) It's a smallish disco with usually, say, 100+ girls and then on average 20-30 expats and some local guys. Entrance fee is $3.00 for guys. It's fun and crazy. Some aggressive girls and many students/secretaries all mixed together dancing and drinking. Almost any night you are guaranteed to meet someone of interest.

Mombasa: Easy choices. Stay on the north coast around Bamburi Beach. Go to Cheers in afternoon/evening. Then go to Tembo Disco any night. Both owned by Germans. Tembo is a big outdoor disco like Help in Rio. I have spent the past 3 New Year's at Tembo Disco and had too much fun.

It amazes me that you guys love extolling the virtues of mongering in Africa without any mention of Mr. Slim Disease. I've done Rio and Bangkok and adhered to general rules for safe sex, and nothing in those locales gave me cause for concern (even though the mainstream media calls those places "Aids infested"). But Africa is a different planet. I've gone there 5 times now--Kenya included-- and have more friends there than over here in the states. You are really naive if you think that a hefty population of the girls in Mombasa are not carrying HIV.
